Does that one familiar in Rainsong Jungle keep evading you? Do you have far too many Black Wolf familiars? Can't be asked to sell the familiars you have and buy the familiars you lack? This is the thread for you! At this trading post you can trade familiars that are taking up space in your hoard and swap them for ones that you need.
The link above will lead you to a google doc. Here you can check the stock of any familiar, as well as add yourself to the pinglists for the familiars you are missing. When a familiar appears in stock again, I will ping those on the list for it. This is not a priority list, and the first person to respond after a ping will be the one who gets the familiar. If a familiar is in stock, you can simply ping me in this thread and offer a swap for it. I very much appreciate it if you trade in a familiar we have none of, but it is not a requirement!

FAQ
Q: Is the spreadsheet up to date/How often do you update the spreadsheet?
A: The spreadsheet is always up to date. Whenever I send out a PM with familiars I remove those numbers from the sheet. Whenever I collect familiars I receive I add them to the sheet. The spreadsheet will be far more updated than anything you might see in the thread. If you wonder wether or not there are any left of a particular familiar, all you have to do is check the sheet. (The only time this is not applicable is if someone has posted in the thread since my last posting, asking for familiars.) Keep in mind though that mistakes can happen.
Q: Can I ask for familiars that I don't need for my bestiary but want (for collections or swipps or whatever the reason)?
A: Absolutely! All that I ask is that you leave at least 1 of that particular familiar with me so that someone whom might actually need it can get it. You can come back and get more as I get multiples in, of course.
Q: Why is 'Boolean' even an option on the sheet?
A: I added every single familiar. Even if we'll probably never have a boolean in, I decided to include all familiars instead of subjectively drawing a line of where I think it is likely we'll get familiars in.
Q: Can I donate excess familiars I have?
A: Certainly! You can send them my way, as long as you mark the PM clearly as being for the swap.
Q: Do the familiars I swap have to be of the exact same value?
A: No. It does say roughly equal value. All that is meant by that is that you will not be able to get a wave sweeper for a kelp tender. However, a kelp tender for a mammertee is perfectly fine! A difference of 1-2000 t is a-ok (a bigger difference for more expensive one). Use your own sensibility (would you yourself accept this trade?)
Q: I have a familiar I want to sell...
A: This swap does not buy familiars. That said, if you look at the pinglist you could find people who might be interested in buying that familiar.
Q: Is there a limit on how many I can trade per day?
A: No limits! I only ask that you trade a variety of familiars in, as I'd like to avoid being left with only one type. More variety means more people can trade!
Q: Can I swap in multiple familiar for a more expensive familiar?
A: Generally, no. However, I may consider it if the familiars you are trading in are familiars we do not have in stock.
Q: Can I swap in a more expensive familiar for multiple familiars?
A: If the one you are swapping in is one we don't have in stock, yes. Otherwise, you can always ask.
Q: Can I use a more expensive familiar to get a cheaper one?
A: Go for it! I'll consider that a "donation" toward the exchange!
Q: Can I give you familiars now and get credit for later?
A: No, I don't do that. You can donate them or hold on to them until I get something you want in stock.
Q: How do you decide the value of a familiar?
A: The lowest AH price, either in gems or treasure.
Q: How do I check the prices of familiars?
A: Follow these steps:
1. Click on 'Auction House' in the sidebar.
2. Click on the tab marked 'Familiars'.
3. Type in the name of one of the familiars in the "Item Name" area.
4. Put 0 in the first box under "Price range" to check treasure prices only.
5. Click 'Search'.
6. Click 'Price' and the familiars will be sorted by price from lowest to highest.
7. Repeat from point 3 for the other familiar.
