An odd dusky chest that rocks eerily back and forth of its own volition. Something about it does not sit well with you, but you still totally want to open it.

If you'd like to help, awesome! I only ask that you make sure the item name is correct and you're not just recording the good drops to avoid skewing the data. You can also edit your form if you've made a mistake, send in another response immediately if you're opening multiple chests at once, or view the data we have in graph form in case I'm lazy and haven't updated it here. Chests cost 21 gems atm, Noc eggs were selling for 300G+ a month ago.. by that math, as long as you are a very patient person and you get atleast 1 egg every 14 chests, you're fine.
I've gotten 6 eggs from 100 chests, but also 2 breed change scrolls. Fairly meh, but I like the new apparel and familiars too. Amount of old stuff is astounding though. I'm an anti-spreadsheet type person.. so my data thread is here: http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2598686

@Jussie - Interesting! At the moment, people seem to get Noc eggs about 13.5% of the time, but there's also less than 100 responses, so I expect that number to change. The gamble appears to be worth it, but time and more responses will tell.

@sirspiderider General consensus every year is to sell chests the first week, open them the second week as prices drop. I like opening them too much haha
