Hello! I am on day 4 of my self-imposed 100k a day earnings regime and I thought I'd post here and maybe encourage some others to try a Big Savings Goal as well.

I recommend saving in short bursts like a week at a time, then putting 60%-90% of your savings in your hoard, having a mini shopping spree with the leftovers, and then starting again. Repeat until you reach your goal! You gotta balance work with reward to keep your momentum going, if you're bad at long term savings like me.
Of course feel free to change rules as you want and make your own version. I know I wouldn't have had the resources to make 100k a day when I first started, this site rewards patience and time spent and it's slooowwww to get the ball rolling. Start with 25k or 50k a day until you find a method that works best for you and your schedule.
So, for my challenge: 100k a day for 7 days. Easy rules.
I'm saving for the next 2 lair expansions and brewing Poison & Toxin genes. That's about 1.4mill treasure. At this rate that's 2 weeks of 100k a day, with 1-2 days in between of rest.
My methods are: exalting dragons, coli grinding when I can, sell the swipp & baldwin ingredients on the AH, and sell my extra goo/sludge/ooze/glass beakers/alchemical reductions on the AH. This all makes 30k-60k a day and then I make the rest playing Artrifacture before bed every evening. I rarely max out fairgrounds, it that usually gets me 45k extra.
I will post every evening (usually right before rollover) the following details:
Earnings goal
Earnings achieved
Surplus?
Major earnings and major expenses
Total amount of treasure onhand
I am soooo bad at details so my math will be rough :P but the total treasure onhand will always be accurate.
You decide: #k a day for # days.
Default is 100k a day for 7 days. 700,000 treasure total.
Guidelines:
1) No superficial spending. Easy rules: It's okay if you've met/exceeded your goal and the purchase is a reasonably small sum.
2) You must set yourself up to make money tomorrow in some way- post AH listings, dragons for sale, make sure Baldwin is transmuting, etc.
3) Use the fairgrounds daily if you are able. Even 10k a day from games adds up. Even if you can only make 25k a day, if you can max out fairgrounds that makes it 100k.
4) Make a note of your progress at the end of each day, whether it's a mental note or posting it publically is up to you. Know what your goal for tomorrow is.
5) Easy rules: if you make more than 100k (or whatever your goal is) in one day, the surplus counts towards the next day's goals. Hard: the surplus does not count toward the next day's 100k.
*Bonus: save the chests you get from familiars and digging, and open them on the last day when you've made your final 100k. Easy: save half of them and open half to reach your daily goals. Hard: save all of them.
