Survive The Desert
Round in progress.
you open the kit and see some food, water, bandages, ect.. "Are you ready for your journey?" he stared at you for a little bit, picked up his claw, and gestured his left claw to point right. "Go that way, you'll get your cart over there to carry some more supplies." the bogsneak turns around, back turned to you, and walks away. "Oh, don't fly, the sun will burn and injure your wings! Better to just walk." he exclaims as he walks away towards the sun.
Wait, what?
Q - What is this game, what is the point?
A - The point is for your dragon to survive, this game is a survival game. The goal is to be the last one alive.
Q - How long does the game last?
A - It lasts as long as it takes for there to be one survivor left.
Q - What do I need to play?
A - Just a dragon and being active on FR. Also being responsive when asked to make decisions.
Q - How many participants are there?
A - At least 5 players are needed, the maximum is 30 players though.
Q - How do you decide what happens to which dragon?
A - I do not, the number generator I use decides what happens to the dragon. You and your dragon could be eliminated as soon as the game starts, and that would be on the number generator.
Q - So how do I survive the things that aren't meters?
A - Try your best to avoid the situation. When in situations I'll give you options, wrong choice, you're in danger, another wrong move? Eliminated (dead). Some things can be helped, you can get some danger juice to tend to your venomous bite, and it will reduce the strength and help you heal, other things can’t be helped such as spells, your dragon will slowly suffer from them and you can’t do anything about that.
Q - Is there any way for me to get 100% when starting?
A - Yes, 5s is required instead of 75%, you'll start with 100% on all meters. Please send the CR/PM asap. and I’ll accept the CR/PM’s gems when we start the game.
Q - So do I need to do much?
A - All you need to do is let me know you're playing by posting your dragon, after that I'll add you to the players list.
Q - How will I know my dragon's meters?
A - It'll be on the player's list.
Q - I see that my dragon's meter goes down more and more.
A - Every 24hrs the meters will be prone to go down more and more. (So walking the first day your water went down 2% now it's down 5% because the longer your in the desert the harder it is to stay alive and find supplies).
Q - How can I give my dragon water to drink/food to eat, ect.
A - You can give your dragon things to eat/make your dragon get rest, and so on, at any time. So long as you have the supplies.
Q - How often do you give options/roll the numbers?
A - A few times a day, please be active when playing this game.
Q - What is intense mode?
A - Intense mode is only activated if nobody has died/been eliminated within' 3 days. This means that everything gets harder. Food is scarcer, running into trouble is easier, and danger is common.
Q - Can me and other players discuss the things that are happening?
A - Yes, of course!
Q - Is there a prize or fee?
A - No, this game is just for fun! You can start with 100% if you want for a fee, though.
Q - How will I know if something is poisonous or venomous?
A - I’ll be making a chart soon! Some things are unknown whether poisonous/venomous, heck, some things might give you special benefits besides boosting the food meter.
Q - Do I make the decisions that my dragons do/what they do in general?
A - Only when asked to. For the most part I narrate what your dragon does. What they do could be stupid, silly, uncalled for, or smart.
Q - Can we discover new things/dragons/species?
A - Of course! Helpful dragons, new potions/serums, new species, ect. can be discovered by anyone!
Q - I want to play, but there's a game in progress.
A - You can PM me that you want to enter the next game in advance.
These are the 5 meters your dragon will have when trying to survive. All meters will start at 75%. It is important to try and keep each one over the breaking point of each meter (breaking points are in brackets). Most important is water, least important is rest. It goes most important to least important.
| % - Water [ Under 40% - Dehydrated ]
| % - Food [ Under 35% - Starving ]
| % - Strength [ Under 40% - Weak ]
| % - Warmth [ Under 30% - Freezing ]
| % - Rest [ Under 70% - Tired ]
If all water is down, you are automatically dead.
If all food is down, your water goes down 35%.
If all strength is gone, your food goes down 25%.
If all warmth is gone, your %.
If all rest is gone, you pass out, and can not do anything until you are awoken, how long you are out for depends on the other 4 meters. When passed out your rest does go up.
1 is 1% water.
1 is 3% food.
1 is 5% strength.
1 is 7% warmth.
1 is 10% rest.
All of this depends on water, you need water to survive at all times. Food is also needed, if food is down all the way and you only have 25% or less water, you are dead. Strength doesn't affect your water, but does your food, when strength is all gone you are unable to move.
Here are some ways to die (besides meters & random rare ways).
Being bitten by a venomous creature - Asissted with Danger Juice (can still be eliminated)
Quicksand - Can’t be treated
Eating a poisonous creature - Treated with Bellsbloom
Spells from Cataclysmic - Can’t be treated
Electric Socket - Insant
Choking - Heimlich Maneuver by Other Dragon
Addiction - Decisions
Fever - Cold Packet
Illnesses - Time
