How long does it take Caden to get dressed in the morning or did he wake up like that? Also when it's super hot out does he strip at all?

"My, that is a personal question. If you can keep a secret, I take more pride in my appearance than I would otherwise care to admit. It takes me a while to get ready in the mornings, hence why it tends to be a while before I emerge from the lair. I mean, really, this Twilight Oracle's Guise is a nightmare to get perfect before I head out! And as for the second part, uh... no, I'll be perfectly honest. Regardless of how hot it gets outside I much prefer to keep this apparel on."

The stoic knight cleared his throat and spoke with a reflective tone, "While I usually do not let my personal desires interrupt my duties from my superiors, this was an exception. There was strategical value for learning more about an enemy clan but at the same time I was individually drawn to the Blind Mother's ways. Duldrier and my peers were initially...startled, to say the least, with my interest but let me go without much protesting as they care for my opinion. I am the second in command, after all, so my choices are reflective of my station. My partner Kalani, however, was especially saddened but showed a rare moment of...withdrawal as she let me leave though not without multiple hugs and annoying bouts of waterworks."

What do you have against the tribunate? You are a former Consul, why former?
ew this is really long
[columns]
Lucius flashed you a smug smile, evidently pleased that he was being called upon yet again to pontificate about his champagne problems. Though it had caused him much grief to speak of his consulship the last time, this unforeseen attention was filling him with delusions of self-importance.
"Well, what self-respecting patrician would not be against the tribunate?" began Lucius scornfully. "They represent the plebeians. The mob. The tribunate speaks for Luxphos' most unsavory street scum—hell, most of the time, they are pulled straight from Subura, that stinking cesspool they call a neighborhood, with political records that don't just pale, but bleach white in comparison to the illustriousness of the aristocracy! And you can clearly tell they're of vulgar origin when, like beggars, they clamor for 'rights'"—Lucius harrumphed disapprovingly—"instead of bread and coin.
"Yes, yes, you may argue that the plebeians have produced reputable families, like the Antonii or the Octavii or the Cicerones. But, typical of trees that are rooted in fetid sludge, few of the fruit they bear are of picking quality. Antonius Hybrida, the dragon-beast, was a drunkard; the Octavii have had like what, two consuls? and the Tullii Cicerones tended to sheep in the hills of the Sunbeam Ruins before coming to Luxphos!"
Realizing that railing about the plebeian families of Luxphos was getting him nowhere but further from his point, Lucius sighed and shook out his wings in an attempt to calm himself.
"Though my hatred of the tribunate extends far beyond their absolutely disgusting origins and the shocking amount of power in their talons. They can veto any bill of the consuls, can you believe it?—going on a tangent again, my sincere apologies. I won't try your patience with a long account of just why my consulship came to an abrupt end, but will instead keep it short for the piscine attention spans of barbarians such as yourself.
"Two vindictive brothers of the same family felt a need to 'get back at me' because I allegedly persecuted their cousin unfairly during my stint as praetor. As a praetor, I simply could not be prosecuted. Realizing that the moment my term expired they would jump on me like hunting dogs would a wounded boar, I ran for consul that winter and won easily. Consular position, see, would grant me immunity from their petty revenge scheme.
"The brothers knew I could have any punishment inflicted on them as consul. Branding themselves as radical populists, they ran for the tribunate that summer, promising to bring to the 'oppressor class' to justice if they were elected. Surprise surprise, the gullible scamps of Subura bought their bullcrap. I was inaugurated in January; they in July, and they did not hesitate to bring the government to a grinding halt.
"They promised to cut it out if I resigned, threatening that if I refused to their terms, they'd press charges immediately upon my return to private life. Well, I tried resisting for a bit, but eventually reluctantly complied because they proposed a bill that certainly meant my end.
"That campaign season, just to spite them, I ran for censor. And won, with the help of a few minor payments. I had both brothers quickly disposed of." Lucius finished breathily, winded by his tiresome narrative.
"But I still wouldn't be consul today," he added with a nonchalant roll of his shoulders. "A consular term is a year long, and these events took place a decade or so ago. Though I am legally allowed to run again, I doubt the tribunate would be happy to see me in one of those curule chairs again."
tl;dr lucius is a rich snob who thinks anyone who can't make six figures (or represents them) is subhuman and had to quit his job because two peasants just couldn't let go of a grudge

'Oh gosh, that's er- a bit of an embarrassing question. Well, to be completely honest I have destroyed more things than I can count. There was this old fancy locket I found that I broke the hinge off of. Chorus was not happy about that... Oh and there were these sweets I could have sworn were mine so I crushed them to see how they dissolved and things like that. But it turned out they were from the last of Rin's stash and since we were on the road at the time he wasn't able to get any more for weeks. I will never hear the end of that one.'
'The worst though is when I was still with my old master. They had this really cool machine they were letting me do tests with. However, in the process, I accidentally let some of the chemicals leak out which were promptly set ablaze, destroying some rather important notes in the process... I was in a lot of trouble for that one...'

After graduating with a PhD in Astronomy, you set your sights on becoming an astrodynamicist, which is similar to engineering if I'm not mistaken? (Correct me if I'm wrong) What is it that you spend most of your time working on? Are there any aspects of the job you especially enjoy/dislike?
(I love your lair lore theme btw)
