@saltedkitten
sorry that this took so long i accidentally erased my progress
Your traveller Kiru would attract my bounty hunter girl (while in her travels)!
The early morning light stretched over the expanse of Dragonhome, and settled on a small town in the mountains. A young Pearlcatcher dragged a heavy, thrashing
burlap sack on the rocky road, and made her way to the sheriff's office to collect her bounty. She made her way through town, passing locally-owned restaurants and quaint shops. As the town's only inn came into view, she noticed a glimmering Fae with glass-like wings and scales like diamonds, and shifted her course to the Fae.
The glass-winged Fae raised her fins crests as the Pearlcatcher stopped her in her path, and said something in monotone Draconic. The Pearlcatcher hesitated, unsure of what the Fae had said. She knew she could attempt to communicate in Harpy, but it may only raise the other's suspicion.
Instead, the Pearlcatcher fished around in her side-bag for a reward she had gotten from one of her bounties. She finally found something suitable: a rare, shimmering flower, perfectly encased in a ball of glass.
"Pretty." The Pearlcatcher gestured to the preserved flower. "Like you!" Her Draconic was far from fluent, but she hoped it was enough. She put the treasure into the Fae's talons, readjusted the sack with a slight "ouch" from the criminal inside, and continued on her way to the sheriff's office.
She hoped that the glass-winged Fae would like her gift.
