One hot day, a group of 5 dragons decided to go to one of these locations to play and have fun. Once tired from swimming and other activities, 3 of them lay down for a nap. The last 2, a Guardian and a Pearlcatcher sat up telling stories at the campfire. To add to the duration of the fire, the Guardian suggested using the powdered remnants of different alchemical ingredients she had in a bag. She took it out to show her friend, but the Pearlcatcher disagreed with the idea and quickly grabbed the bag. He could not pull it away from the Guardian and ended up tearing the bag. When the contents hit the fire, a billowing cloud of smoke engulfed the 2 dragons and their fellow group, causing them all to pass out from the smoke. All 5 of them experienced smoke inhalation as a fire raged on in the forest surrounding them. A Fire and Water dragon, alerted by colorful weird smoke, came to the rescue and put out the flames. They were left unharmed except for the swirling smoke patterns on their bodies and different colored streaks that resulted from the accident. They became known as the Original Psychedelic dragons. Two of these dragons have been named so far; Evindal and Aurora. They went on to pass genes that would solidify the subspecies, creating the first Official Psychedelicz.
