Bastcats - Poison Feline Species
I'm Subbed. Just comment with your quoted order form/details and I will see it ^.~
The Lore: These little balls of fluff were discovered as a set of two squirming litters within a thorny bush’s hollowed center. One litter had all boys, the other all girls. Each held 5 squirming kits. They were separated only by trampled leaves and underbrush and the parents were nowhere to be found.
Little is known about them other than when grown, they develop poisonous spikes that cause anywhere from a small rash to the unspeakable of things. Some sprouted wings, others grew horns which looked twisted and mangled but beautiful at the same time.
Sketch by me, Final Adopt will be in Digital Color.
Moon Shift: The most noted trait of these creatures is glimpsing them on a new moon when they take on a humanoid form and wander the land for their soulmate. Some brave dragons befriended them and they became companions to them, helping guard their clans against threats and hunting for them.
The Gem: Some speculate the gem on the Bastcat’s chest may speak to their origins, but Bastcats themselves do not tell the secrets of their gems. They hate to be touched on the chest or ears, so petting one isn’t advised.
The Flower: The flower on their belly blooms and dies with the seasons, so a Bastcat in winter has no navel flower, but grows it back come spring. If a Bastcat’s flower is removed forcibly, they will die.
A Butterfly’s Wings: A Bastcat’s rear wings do not function for flight, rather they flutter in order to keep a Bastcat from overheating. Like dogs, they can’t sweat. The rear wings also help to navigate water while swimming. Butterfly markings vary and colors compliment the rest of the Bastcat’s colors.
Tail Ring: Bastcat’s tell the rank of one another by the ring on their tail, given to them when they come of age after 6 Moons (6 Months) Upon close inspection, the name of the cat and some rune-like writing can be seen.
