Avalon is a floating island powered using the combined magic of all Flights. They have their own government, agriculture system, trade system, and anything else needed to survive. Each Flight has a purpose that (mostly) benefits every other Flight.
For example, Fire dragons are usually forgers. They work with metal and fire to provide heat and stability to buildings. However, any dragon can do any occupation available regardless of Flight/Element. Avalon boasts an invisible barrier that cannot be accessed by non-Avalon dragons. Nature/Wind Magic is used to hide and provide protection as well, such as storms and cloud cover.
The Elders of Sornieth created Avalon as a fail-safe, hiding 4 Trinkets within its core. It is controlled by these trinkets, making them the source of Avalon's movement, it's power source. They are unknown to any dragons except "The Dragons of Legend." Only they know Avalon's hidden secret. However "The Dragons of Legend" passed away over 1,000 years ago and their descendants, though knowledgeable of the secret, remain childless. Therefore they can not pass on what they know of Avalon.
Avalon was built to break off from Sornieth and carry dragons to relative safety lest a devastating event happened. Little did they know that something tragic would indeed happen.

The Laboratories consist of a facility that is separated into four divisions of study: Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Each of the divisions focuses on a different important method for their studies: Astronomy division uses the Observatories, Physics uses an Electricity Powerhouse, and Biology studies the workings of the forest and citizens of Avalon. Cerulean Aeckard came into the realm of Sornieth as a burning ball of light that crashed into the crumbling earth at the end of the Third Age. Her existence was instant and sudden and she grew up lonely and unaware of what she was exactly. She relied on the guidance of others and the inner voice she had that spoke to her in her dreams. The Voice would tell her that she was a guardian, one of the strongest breeds of dragon, and that her ultimate purpose was to find her Charge.
Cerulean’s childhood consisted of being cared for by random dragons and learning things from dragons that were not of the same breed. She appreciated the Voice that spoke to her at night because it seemed as if that Voice was the only one that truly understood her. Due to her rocky background, Cerulean had become quick tempered if things started to go south, especially if after she had already fixed the problem. She has abandonment issues, which started after she became aware of herself and the world around her as it was. This onset of feelings was so was sudden and unyielding, it rendered her mute for the first few years of her life. Unfortunately, she has not been formally diagnosed with any kind of mental disability. She is highly affected, in that, reverse effects have begun to happen such as her inability to form meaningful friendships. She doesn't want to get too close for fear of losing whomever it is, thus she pushes many away and some not gently. Nothing is being done about her condition, because no dragon has any knowledge of how to deal with such an affliction. Her attitude toward her flaws consists of mostly being aware that she can be triggered with certain things, so she avoids conflict when possible and will keep silent or walk away entirely if she isn’t forced into physical combat. She approaches most with a soft voice, but will be quick to growl if she feels threatened.
Going through life like this had caused Cerulean to have a very small circle she calls friends. At a young age, she decided wander away from the Sunbeam Ruins to pursue her search for her Charge. She made her way to the edge of the water realm and found a golden, gilded chest. It had washed ashore and gotten stuck between two slick rocks. Cerulean wedged it free and examined the chest. It was relatively unscathed save for a few scratches from being stuck. As soon as Cerulean touched the chest she knew that this was to be her Charge. Something inside her believed that if she could find the key, she could unlock a secret from her past.

From that day on, Cerulean carried the chest with her wherever she went. She traveled from the Sunbeam Ruins all across Sornieth, looking for a place to settle. On the verge of giving up, she stopped to rest at The Pillar of Light, back where she started. There she saw a speck of earth floating in the air. She tilted her head, curious at this sight, and watched as the island came into view, pulled by what looked like an airship.
Wow, the Arcane dragons have been busy… She thought as the island came to rest right above the ruins. Little did she know that the Arcane did not craft such a vessel. Hmmm… I wonder if there are any dragons up there. Maybe i’ll check it out.
Unfolding her aqua colored wings, she took to the air to explore the mysterious chunk of land floating above her temporary place of residence. She got about half way and was physically unable to get any higher. What in the name of the Lightweaver?...

The imposing Island loomed above, inaccessible, but definitely tangible. She flew out to the side for a while and only then, after moving out from under the island, was she able to fly higher and gaze upon it from above. No life seemed to be upon the Island save for the few birdlike creatures that dove and soared close to the island’s surface. It was if the place was in a completely separate realm from Sornieth, with it’s very own ecosystem. Cerulean was not sure of any of this. but was curious enough to want to find out more. She tried to descend, however, like her ascension, it was cut short.
This island has a barrier the whole way around, how do i get to it?
As if some outside force had heard her thoughts, Cerulean felt a warm sensation in her stomach. The feeling quickly turned into a searing burn and Cerulean closed her eyes and hissed in pain. She was still in flight, and slightly panicked when she felt herself start to fall. She was hurtling straight for this weird swath of ground and half able to open and articulate her wings. Her heart pounded in her chest,
I’m going to die.
Cerulean made peace swiftly with the thought, realizing that she really didn’t have anyone that would miss or care about her. Being taken out of this world would be something she wouldn’t mind. This thought in her mind and her eyes shut, she let the fall take her. She didn’t remember ever hitting the ground, just a flash of light and then silent darkness.

Cerulean cracked open her eyes and winced immediately shutting them again. Her head pounded and her stomach burned as if she drank acid. She groaned and moved very slowly to gather her limbs under her. She folded her wings and tried again to open her eyes. This time she was able to open them and look about her. She had landed upon a hilltop that overlooked a huge, round stone building that lacked a roof. She rose to her feet and made her way down the hill toward the structure. As she got closer she gaped at its sheer size. She circled it until she found a stone arch that led inside. She padded down a short hall that led into hallways to the left and right and then opened into an expansive, sand covered area. This arena had rows upon rows of stone benches that all faced the center. Cerulean was in shock.
What is all this for? I don’t understand, why does this place not have a roof?
Cerulean continued to explore the circular structure, finding stairs that led down below to stone cells with rusty metal bars blocking off the entrances. These bars sported padlocks.
What in Sornieth would need to be kept locked here?
She wandered for a good few hours, checking out every room and stairwell. By the time she left the strange stone arena it had started to get dark. A small feeling of panic made her tummy flip. Where would she sleep for the night? She turned and looked at the weird building.
I guess this place is as safe as any…
With a deep, steadying sigh she went back inside. She chose to hunker down in an alcove within the hallway so that there was a wall to her back and she could see anything coming before it made its way to her. She folded her wings around herself and put her head on her front paws. Sleepiness didn’t take long to have her slip into much needed rem.

Episode 2 ~ Kokoro
Lost? Well, he wouldn't necessarily say he was lost, of course, he wasn't lost, the great Kokoro was never lost! Rather he was simply heading wherever the skies took him, letting the wind guide his journey rather than following some trail or path-- he could map out the area himself if he needed! He wasn't lost, never ever upon the grandest star was he 'lost', the mere word made the dragon give a soft 'tch'.
But if he wasn't lost then where exactly was he?
A large figure shadowed far above the land, wings spread out wide and occasionally flapping, a few trinkets dangling alongside him from ropes, a map outstretched and held before his face. Sure, perhaps from any other dragon that happened to see him he might've looked lost, struggling to keep the map from being taken by the wind as he flew, struggling to make any sense of it before ultimately giving a low grumble and rolling it back up.
Who needed maps anyways?
"I'm better than this," His voice was rough, perhaps even scratchy, talking to himself while tucking his map away, soon focusing his attention towards the upcoming clouds. "Never needed a map before, surely won't be needing one now... Besides," He paused, features scrunching up as his eyes narrowed, trying to spot something far, far off in the distance.
He didn't have a specific place he was going.
Destination aside, Kokoro's attention shifted from his map and instead he grew focused on the upcoming obstacle in the distance, just what in the stars could that be? At first, he would mistake the scene far up ahead for something of a mountain-- yet, were there mountains in this area? Perhaps, after all, what else could it be? There wasn't anything else to be seen up this high up in the clouds and yet as he drew near, his eyes continued to betray him.
A mountain..? Could it be?
It was then the dragon's grand wings drew up alongside his body in one quick movement, dipping his entire body forward and sending himself rapidly descending below the clouds, eyes closing for a brief moment as he passed through a cloud before quickly spreading his wings out moments later.
It couldn't be.
Below the clouds where the mountain's base would be was nothing at all, just endless land and some water masses and yet not a mountain to be seen. It couldn't be, this just, it just couldn't be. What in the stars had he encountered? He wasn't dehydrated, not that he knew of, he'd stopped for some rest and had eaten some of his dried meats only but a few hours ago-- this couldn't be a hallucination of some sort, could it?
There was only one way to find out.
With several mighty beats of his wings, Kokoro found himself back above the clouds with the seemingly floating body of land up ahead, though now something important came to mind. Quickly the dragon snatched his map up once again, wings slowing down to a constant pace as he drew to stop flying and instead only hovered there in midair. Now was the time to grab his satchel, digging around and pulling out his charcoal and unfurling his map.
'X' Was what he'd marked, making sure to record the location of the strange phenomenon, gazing at his map for a few moments longer before tucking it back away safely, the charcoal soon following.
There was only one thing left to do, huh? With that in mind, Kokoro set out for the floating land, his intentions? For one he needed clarity that such a thing was even real, that he wasn't just imagining or anything of the sort-- but secondly, such a thing was unheard of. It wasn't like he had a particular destination in mind before, eh? Besides, there could easily be some riches on such a land, riches that this dragon would happily claim for himself...
And Kokoro was never, ever the type of dragon to let others get in his way...

Episode 3
A medium sized Pearlcatcher dragon by the name of Primrose packed her bag to get ready to go exploring. Once she had gathered her pearl and placed it in her pack, she cleaned her nest. Getting her pack on with a 21.6 foot wingspan was a little difficult. Thankfully Briar, her companion, was there to assist and protect her. He was her Nocturne Mate. He put on his own gear as well. It helped him fly and get them both to safety if needed. Briar was protective of the mother of his children. A Guardian friend taught him the basics of protecting something important to him. Checking her stuff again, Primrose made sure she had packed her compass and other supplies in her satchel. Her many maps of the area grew bigger and detailed the more she explored. This island was big and somehow floating. The floating part she was unsure of, but was hoping to figure out. Every place they had explored, she made sketches of the environment; adding things to the map. The others always referred to her unique designs to help get them where they needed to go.
Avalon felt like home now. The group had been there a little over two months at this point. Everyone had a job to help the group. The jobs were based on what that dragon wanted to do. Their little group was growing slowly. Every other day or so, more dragons appeared or attempted to. A small camp was made for the ones that made it and jobs were assigned as they were needed. There seemed to be a barrier over them, as some dragons had tried to land and bounced off something unable to be seen. Sometimes it was funny to see the dragon’s shocked expression as they quickly bounced the other direction. Today she was heading out to another part of the area that had not been explored yet. She left with Briar in tow to some undiscovered terrain.
On her way, she noticed Cypress guarding his precious trees. She thought he was over sensitive about the trees. Anyone that needed trees had to go through him and specify how many trees were needed. The amount was determined by how much the square footage was for a certain building or whatever the dragon was doing. With it being warmer now, logs were not allowed to be used for kindling according to him. Stealing any trees with Cypress around proved difficult.
Leaving the cove, Prim headed Northeast towards buildings that looked like ruins of something much older. Locations that had not been mapped out yet. Primrose and Briar found many ruins around the small area they had explored. Flying higher, both of them spotted what seemed like a coliseum. It was mid afternoon now, she thought, as she looked at the location of the sun. She needed to draw quickly before she lost all her light. Landing near one of the entrances, Prim sat down and sketched some of the area while Briar grabbed some food for each of them. After lunch, Primrose wandered around the area inside and outside, increasing the detail on the map. She wandered around the arena, making her maps more intricate. As the day’s light withdrew, from the hallways of the arena, Prim noticed a dragon asleep in one of the alcoves. She maneuvered slowly towards them, but was careful not to be heard.

Episode 3 - Harbingers Arrival
The sky is pitch black, currently it is the absolute dead of night, no moonlight, only the stars twinkling far above. Occasionally they would be blotted out, a long, large dragon winging it’s way over the bitter cold of the Ice Realm. The feathers on her chest are fluffed out, and puffs of sparkling fog escape her nose as she breathes, her eyes are locked on something far, far in the distance, the whispers of ancient, long past dragons rumbling in her ears. This long, dark coatl is making her way to something unknown, and far away. How did she get here though? Well that is a story.
(five or six hours ago)
Pandora, our coatl friend from before, is sat in her nest, scattered before her are leaves, bones, and she is watching them intently, reading them and listening to the growing din of the souls resting in the pale mist around her. Sat outside is a lairs worth of chattering dragons, eagerly awaiting their leader, this has happened before, where she has read something for the future, and right now, they can all feel how important it is. Slowly, she gets up to her paws, passing through the silken drapes and standing before them, she is yet a new leader, and incredibly young at that, but she has done well, and this will be her first test. “As you all know, our lair has been destroyed, we have no home, and we must find somewhere to stay, but you can rest easy now, I have been shown the path. There is a place, I do not know how far away it is, nor what it is like, but it will be our home, and we will thrive. The stars and moon are all ancient, as are the great cosmos above us, they have stood for ages, and they will continue to, just as we will! I will take flight, and find this place, and eventually, when it is time, I will return, and we will all make the journey. Now, until my return Midnight will be your leader. Listen to him, for he is smart, and i trust he will lead you well, Dusk shall be the co leader. I do not know when I will return, or if I will, but know I will hold you in my thoughts, until next i set foot.” She spreads out her large, semi transparent, and blackberry coloured wings, lashing them in the air with a swoosh, and taking flight, she hovers for but a moment, nodding to them before taking off, heading up into the steadily darkening sky, off on a journey to somewhere she does not know. With her she takes only the essentials, a back packed with food and water, as well as her precious pet, a small, black kitten by the name of Saturn.
(present time)
Returning to the present, the dragon has finally taken a break, about halfway to her destination she figured to eat and stock up on more supplies, can’t go wrong with that, so she breaks in a small area of vendors, picking up tools and such, and eating a good meal before once again taking to the sky, it has finally reached daytime, and she has left the bitter chill of the ice realm, almost purring at the heat of the sun on her back, filtering through semi transparent wings and casting a mosaic of patterns upon the ground below. Her jaw ends up cracking in a yawn, and curls in a grin as she feels Saturn kneading the feathers on her neck in his sleep, and then her eyes go wide as she spots a giant, floating island in the distance, her wings almost locking up as she just stares at it. Within less than a second though she collects herself, schooling her face to be passive as she heads to the island known as ‘Avalon’, not that she knows this yet, knowing that in finding this place she will change a great many things, even now she can hear the spirits whispering and shifting in excitement, growing in volume as she finally starts her decent. Welcome to Avalon, Harbinger of Death, Speaker of Souls
