Since the beginning of their evolution, the guardians have been known to wander the world, in search of their purpose. While that may be true, tales of old speak of Guardians that refused to leave the waters of theSea of a Thousand Currents, residing in the depths of the Leviathan's Trench and eventually creating their own underwater society, closed off to the world above.

Curious dragons have been known to make their way down the depths of Leviathan's Trench, learning the ways of these mysterious Guardians. They wondered why they don't go to the land, the truth was, over the years of evolution, they've become completely dependant on water for survival. The tidelord even granted the guardians gills so they could breathe like fish. So why would they want to return to the surface?

Other dragons were disgusted by the strange desire to remain underwater and thought it was the most awful way to live, so dragons from other cultures began sending "criminal dragons" to Leviathan's Trench as a form of punishment, one that they could never return from. Pearlcatchers and Spirals were the most common dragons to be thrown down to the Guardians. Most of the "criminal dragons" would be claimed dead by their societies, but little did they know, was that those dragons were being accepted by the guardians with opened arms. The guardians accepted them, gave them a life, and they, too, began to evolve to adapt the life living underwater. They are called "Dangerous Depths Dwellers" because of other dragons believed they were uncultured and savages because they always lived in the dark. But there's darkness in all dragons, right?

Shallow Sentries
The son of Tidelord remained in his father's domain, but stayed closer to the sun. He enjoyed it so much, that he created a subspecies within the shallow waters. Him, and his sister of the deep waters, would often play a game of "Finders Keepers" with the outcast dragons. Shallow Sentries have a strong sense of self-worth, not enough to make them narcissistic, but enough to know where they belong. Sometimes the offsprings would migrate to the deeper water to live with Tidelord's daughter, becoming a Leviathan's Demon, while a Demon might migrate to the shallow waters to become a Shallow Sentry, depending on their "calling".

@MistressOlive
I would love to help in beginning this subspecies! Since I dont buy gems I regularly get them from selling and the daily gem so I can donate 50+g to help you get the genes. I currently have 15 I can send over.
