Too bad its in the only position that I didn't want a gem gene in. Typical. But anyway. I am super close on my colors now. This girl is only 1 off on all 3 colors. And one of the possible mates I bought is a really good match for colors. Genes, not so much. But I am super limited as to what is available. @HSoup Lemon and honey - a healthy/cold-healing baby! She's lovely and I'm pleased the colours are getting there. Shame the gem upgrade was an unhelpful one, but fingers crossed for next time! Those offspring previews look good, love the Coatl especially =D

Secondly, did you notice I got a breed upgrade?!? Finally, a step forward. Yay! Also, the colors are super close. Perfect 2nd and 3rd colors and only 2 off in the primary color. (2nd and 3rd genes are all wrong and of course, I am actually trying to get a WC, not coatl - but I'll take what I can get. LOL) So now comes the hard part, finding a mate. Its tough finding Wildclaws with close colors (thats why this round was a coatl) [i]and[/i] with the correct genes, or at least genes that aren't a step backwards. @HSoup Woohooooo congratulations on the breed upgrade! At least switching to WC shouldn't be too hard ^^ You're getting so close, it must be exciting but even more frustrating!

@KingOfThePark - Yeah. I just checked dragon search to try and find a mate and all the close ones are related. And then I had the brilliant idea to breed one of the females I've been saving when I bought several dragons from the AH as possible matches way back (since they are scarce.) But I forgot to make sure they weren't related and put them on a nest, but of course, the female is too closely related to my heir, so any offspring they have, I won't be able to use as a mate.

I'll just have to keep checking the AH regularly. I did get a WC with gem genes (not related to my heir) and the same 2nd and 3rd colors, but the primary is Sanddollar, which is way off, but I could get lucky. Hopefully, I'll find something better.

@HSoup Aaaaaargh that's even more frustrating! Darn related dragons. I guess that WC might be worth a try, but yeah, keep checking as well. Thank goodness for the saved search feature!

Got a good color though, considering how huge the range was. Its only 2 off on the primary and has the proper 2nd and tert. Finding a mate is getting more and more difficult. @HSoup Sorry I don't really comment much or at all on these updates, but I just have to say I love how the colour shifts when you scroll through your lineage post to where you're up to now. Also, I didn't realise you started this so long ago now! As always, good luck hunting a mate! :D

@Gan - Thats totally fine. I don't mind at all. And I was looking at the dates today too. Its been like a year and a half. O.O I'm ready for it to be over. LOL But, I do really want to end with a dragon I am going to keep. So I will carry on for now. =D
