Okay, so I got totally distracted by the NotN and forgot to get the next rounds mate. So this round is going to take extra long as I just bought her today. Whoops!
After looking at a bunch of WC and coatl as possible mates and thinking about what I want to end up with at the end of my Challenge, I decided that I don't think I want to end up with all gem genes. Cry Face Glim is pretty, but not really what I am wanting in my lair right now. So after some scrying, I think I want to try to get back to the colors I started this challenge with and maybe try for a WC with Skink - Shim - Glim? (So 3 out of 4 gem genes) Maybe something like this?

@KingOfThePark - Thank you. It didn't matter before since my focus was on getting up to the gem genes. But now that I'm at that point, I realized just getting an all gem dragon wouldn't necessarily leave me with a dragon I want to keep. By the end of this round, I will have been doing this project for 1 year, so I definitely don't want all that time to be wasted. For sure, I want to end up with a keeper dragon. =D
I just wish I had remembered to buy the mate 3 weeks ago when the heir was hatched. Now I have to wait a month because of the WC's cooldown. I'm excited to see what these 2 give me.

@demoliceros - Thank you. I thought it would be great to be able to end my challenge with a dragon that has the same color scheme as the 2 original dragons. Hopefully I can get there in not too many rounds. =D

@HSoup Those two glittery toenails are the best thing about Glimmer on Wildclaws! Wishing you luck upgrading to gem genes. I guess this is when picking the heir comes in most handy (and for least frustration)! :D

@Gan - Thank you. And yes, I cannot imagine getting a wildclaw as a second born and having to take a Noc firstborn if I was going with the traditional rules. Definitely not fun.
And that is how it would go for me. Remember Round 1 of this challenge? No tert gene with Goldenrod on the firstborn vs. Underbelly and Lemon on the other 2. LOL

Thank you thatjubi for loaning me your Water nest again. No upgrades, but a nudge in the right direction color-wise.
I am not sure what to do about the next mate. There are no WC's with the right genes or the right colors. I can't afford to go backwards with genes, so it needs to have gem genes for 2nd and tert and primary too, if I can't get Skink as the primary.
