His name also refers to a person's skin turning blue due to silver poisoning. I thought it would fit well since he was born into the Plague flight. My idea is for him to be the clan "sin-eater" and any services he provides are private.

@chocoapple Ooh, I love it! Is "sin-eater" meant more in the historical or general sense? Like, is this guy offering to consume misdeeds, or is it more a general "I can take your pains/illness into myself...for a price" arrangement?

Also, what sort of piece are you looking for? Short story, bio, poem, etc.

It would be the second one where he takes pain/illness away and into himself. This can range from physical wounds to mental health. (Wounds that he takes in adds to the silver adorning his body making him more blue.) He relocated himself to Hulmoor, which I have blurbs for here on Shae's bio. Everything seems sketchy, but he delivers on his deals and promises.

And the size of it would be a general bio. ^^

@chocoapple Nice worldbuilding! And can do. Just a few more questions:

1. Does doing this have any effect on him besides increasing the silver coverage?

2. Does the silver enter his bloodstream/body sufficient to cause symptoms?

3. Any preference for his opinion towards his skill? I can make a few suggestions:

1. Considers it to be "just a job." Sort of world-weary. Very professional.
2. Extremely eager to help. People find him fishy on the basis of enthusiasm alone. Goes very out of his way to convince "customers." Just wants to heal people.
3. Eager to help, but in a darker sense. Gets a bit of a Plague-y thrill out of consuming illnesses. Believes self to grow stronger by doing so. Either wants to counter and conquer Plague or sees himself as the "next evolution."
4. Frightened by his ability and the potential effects on his health, but believes himself to have no choice in using it. Resentful. Voluntary hermit.
5. Considers himself to just be an extension of the ability. Vaguely prophet-like. Exists only to consume, sometimes refers to self in third person. Possibly the result of a difficult background.
6. Consumate scientist. Logs diseases, publishes anonymized results. Sees his own decline as an incredible research project.
7. Slick salesman/con-man, peddling the wares everyone wants (good health) at whatever price he can possibly get. Will gladly take advantage of any situation. Keeps telling himself he'll retire, never does, always chasing the big score.
