@Phoenixofwar. Here's your precious girl!
Trope: She completely reminds of the a cross between the "rebellious princess" trope and the "I'm not in distress" trope. A rebellious princess is a brash princess who does not want to follow the classic rules of being a princess, who does not want to be the prim and proper daughter that her parents want her to be - she wants to do what she wants to do. She wants control over her own life, to have a say where her future is heading, to choose what she does, and she has a brain - she can use it and make her own decisions, thank you very much. She can often have an attitude, and sass comes naturally. The rebellious princess still looks like and dresses, for the most part, like a princess should - she just has a will and an agenda of her own. The "I'm not in distress" trope is about a girl who gets herself into situations where a normal defenseless girl would need rescuing from, however, this girl can take care of herself. She doesn't wait for a hero or a knight-in-shining-armor to rescue her - in fact, she is not interested in a man unless he can match her strength - and instead puts her mind to rescuing herself, often surprising her adversaries with her willpower, resilience and strength. She's also known to take the lead in a situation - if she finds a man who interests her she will into shy away from making the first move, or if she wants something she will not hesitate when going for it.
@Darcorax. The skin on your boy is so unique; I actually adore it.
Trope: The veteran soldier. Because of his tattoos and the overall skin, and the kind-of-torn banner that he carries, he struck me instantly as the veteran solider trope. The veteran solider is a grizzled man of tough, thick skin, unmoved by anything. He's seen it all, fought in many battles, served under many different commands, and risen painstakingly through the ranks, rank by rank, until he achieved his own position of command - not the top-of-the-top command, but a position with a great deal of power. He is extremely well-respected and his skills in combat and affinity for strategy are renowned. He's the backbone of the formation that he fights for, the unwavering strength and determination that everyone else looks to for courage, and he is unendingly resilient in face of any challenge. Due to having seen many young and stupid soldiers die throughout many battles, and he himself having lived through enough wars to have seen many of his friends, both young and aged, die - he often finds himself eternally annoyed or exasperated by the younger, new troops around him. @SummerCat. Sorry this took a bit! You have all these plans for such gorgeous dragons (especially this bab, she's a spiral and I just fawned a little bit over her).
Trope: I'll admit, it was a little more difficult to find a trope for her due to the lack of apparel, but I think that the "Poison Master's Apprentice" trope matches her natural look. The poison master's apprentice is usually a sassy, lower-class girl who left her village to apprentice under a skilled but aging poison (or potions) master. She often knows more about the art of poison than her master due to years of hard study and reading - except in cases of old magic, old poisons, or old potions, in which her master is versed expertly in - but sometimes lacks the practical skill of gathering it, of creating it, or of exact dosages to kill, paralyze, or make ill that her master knows. She's the girl who would, after putting the two protagonists through a nerve-wracking test of choosing which chalice has poison in it and which does not and then each protagonist having to drink from one of the chalices (different ones, so both chalices would end up being drunk from), in the end, would smile and say "I never said one was poisoned, just that it COULD be". This test would be to test the protagonists morals, to see if one would sacrifice the other or if they were true to their cause - and in the end, she would offer up her services to them if they proved true to their cause.
