I always like new items and familiars. Would have liked even more for the old festival items and recolors to be seperated, not gotten from the same chest, as I already have most of those I want and receiving doubles will be disappointing. The coin makes it much better though, so no real complaint from me here.

Alixe I think they simply follow the demand to not introduce more retired items and familiars, helping newer members to catch up was never the goal.
It was always stated that they won't reintroduce the retired stuff, but a lot of players still cried out for no more retired items, so the player base actually 'shoveled their own grave' in this situation because they got what they demanded and now there are concerns about the newer stuff not rising in price - which was clear since years ago (to me at least) with the announcement that future items will be available again in some way.
IF they did reintroduced the original sprites, I bet there would be complaint threads how they are not able to sell their sprite for xxthousands of gems anymore like the older players were...

This is actually really nice, I'm excited! Not exactly perfect, but I'm pretty happy with the way things turned out. Think it'll really help!
