since several people expressed interest in it, i'm making my gameboy dragpn sprites into adopts! [center][url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/adopt/2389246#post_32011876]pricing/order form here[/url][/center] new pending feature: order slots. will likely be implemented after i finish everyone's orders as of right now, and i think the reason is... kind of clear. currently taking a break. i will get back to work as soon as i can get over being weird about it (so, soon, hopefully). since i guess i never made this clear: you can make your own edits of these sprites; all i ask is that you credit me and don't sell them yourself. i may (or may not) upload the full color bases at a later time. (trust me, full color sounds easy with these sprites until you realize you don't have the contour between half the color changes. making them full-color compatible was just as challenging as drawing the sprites!) GBC color will emulate how the pokemon sprites were colored in pokemon gold, silver, and crystal: black, white*, and two colors - i will sample the primary and secondary on your dragon for this, and color the dragon according to the brightness of the colors. example: [center][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=12151594] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/avatars/121516/12151594.png?mtime=WnFS7AAATFc.png[/img] = [img]https://78.media.tumblr.com/47ddcf4f144cd6ff059090573f1e5ba2/tumblr_p512hyQIuz1uu6ayfo2_75sq.png[/img] [/url] [/center] full color: as before, i'm still sampling colors, but there's more to sample, and depending on the base, i might have to select colors that don't already exist on the dragon... but i will try my best to make it look nice. here's daemon again as an example: [center][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=12151594] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/avatars/121516/12151594.png?mtime=WnFS7AAATFc.png[/img] = [img]https://78.media.tumblr.com/789f98808dee60303a6b9fbe756fc4a3/tumblr_p512hyQIuz1uu6ayfo1_75sq.png[/img][/center] [i]*the gbc sprites technically only utilized three colors: black, and two other colors. the white is transparent on the original sprites, and the background was always white to keep it consistent. but this is flight rising, not a gbc game, and we want pretty things here, not necessarily 100% correct things. it's also worth mentioning this point with regards to the colors i am using for those sprites; as the gbc (as well as the gba and the ds, actually) are limited to a 15-bit color display. however... the difference between 15-bit color and 24-bit displays (the current standard) is relatively difficult to see with the naked eye, ...and i'm not sure how the math works between the two for converting to the next nearest 15-bit-compatible hex codes. sorry, i can do calculus, but not that :v\[/i]
