I've had basically no time to grind (although for the best reason possible, I'm on vacation rn!!) so I've only gotten 36 chests so far. but out of those, I got 4 eggs!!
(edit: will add percentage too, so far that's 11.11% :D)
this happens every year though actually, I have AMAZING egg rates for the first few days, and then they take a nosedive. so now I know to stop opening chests and start selling them the second my egg rate dives below 10% haha (I'm sure it's not real, but it's still a good plan considering since my beginning luck IS good this year, I'm not going to fall for the sunk cost fallacy if the pattern DOES continue!)
anyways, what's your ratio so far? do you have any patterns like I do? are you having great luck? or were you one of the participants in the annual traditional "is the egg drop rate lower this year" thread fdsjfklhj

I had 1% drop rate the first day, 14% drop rate the second day. I got 2 eggs the first day out of the same amount of chests I got 20 eggs out of the second day. The third day is 9.3% leaving my total chest:egg ratio for all three days about 8.6%. I also already have gotten an eliminate and an elemental egg.

let's see.. i opened 72 chests within the span of 3 days and got 6 eggs. i dont knoww what was in the water yesterday but the eggs just kept popping out.

In roughly 200 chests I'll say (More or less), I've gotten 12 eggs! Which is 6%
The whole other matter is. COLI WONT GIVE ME CHESTS,,, NOT A ONE IN 40 BATTLES. this is my own personal hell

no idea, I'm throwing them all in the vault as I get em and haven't looked at the total number yet so I can be pleasantly Surprised at the end of the event. and I haven't kept count of chests opened either.
on average it looks like RNG is favoring me with an egg every 23-25 chests though, so not bad.
here's hoping i didn't jinx my luck with this post

I'm at exactly 25 eggs out of 400 chests, so 6.25%. Lower than I'd like, but still on track for what my goals were. Hopefully it'll get higher and even out to the 8% it's supposed to be.
damn I feel really lucky now, so many people in this thread getting only 3/4 what they should :( and it's definitely mostly the people doing the most grinding too!
I'm going to sleep now but I had time to grind for a bit and got 19 chests and 2 eggs, so still extremely lucky haha. current ratio now 55:6, so still hovering around 11% (although of course with a tiny sample size haha)
