...I mean, if I remember right, progens don't count towards dominance when exalted. I'd imagine these eggs could also be considered "level 0" to the system.
(Support for some variety of discard-nest, it just seems like a good solution to a problem)

Also my take is just have a "give up nest". Ambiguous enough on what happens to the eggs

That's why I say that destroyed nest must be inqubated full time no matter how many eggs destroyed - 1 or all. To prevent such kind of exploiting.
Those who axidentally breed their G1s still will be happy if they could keep unbreed status even with waiting 5 days.

Fair enough! Making them be level zero and/or have a full "incubation" period regardless could be a great way to not abuse the system.
Perhaps to keep it simple, there could be the option to hatch or discard after the five days pass? That enforces the incubation period, but I feel like the UI for it needs to be crystal clear to minimize the number of people accidentally clicking one when they mean the other.

Yesss I have wanted this for awhile.
Honestly I don't really think they need to keep the cooldown after doing so, because it's not like the user is getting eggs or any reward. Just a simple undo would be awesome--there is already no benefit to canceling a nest besides realizing you've made a mistake and getting a chance to correct whatever the issue was. I might be missing something though. Completely forgot about the concept of rerolling for a higher egg count.
That said, I'd still be happy if this was introduced but did still keep the cooldowns.
Wording wise, I'd like to think it could just be a "Cancel Nest" button and maybe just not elaborate on what it means at all beyond the literal in game mechanic of canceling the nest. Then everything else people think it is can be headcannons. It probably wouldn't be introduced like that, but that's what I would want. :p

I really hope they add this feature when the nesting grounds get updated. They could easily make the item/function obvious as a game mechanic only. So in-lore it's not a thing. Sort of like how beastclan fams are sold in the marketplace but this isn't the case with canon lore.

I don't even mind people exploiting it to reroll nests.. because.. heck, everything is exploitable to some degree. Reality is, it gets tedious. Reroll a 3 egg nest, get 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 3, oh goodie, finally 4. After doing that a couple of times people stop doing that. It's like bonding with all your fams, rarely does anyone stick with it for months on end.. I might've done it when I had 200 fams, but now I only do it during NotN and only the ones I have duplicates of. Someone wants to sit there and reroll nests to get 5 every time? Good luck and more power to them.

Support. This is a function that should be available. Accidentally nesting a dragon shouldn't be impossible to fix/undo.
There's lots of reasons why eggs might not be viable. Not every egg in nature hatches. Every egg in Sornieth doesn't need to either. Let us fix nesting mistakes.

I think nessessarity of aplying special destroing item and picture of broken eggs are quait representative. Is someone find it not enougth clear and have other suggestions?
