(My first post in the Suggestions forum!)
For a while I’ve thought that we could certainly use a tertiary to match Poison and Toxin.
We have eleven terts currently; six are busy/visually noisy, but the majority of them only use one colour, as opposed to genes such as PoTox and PetButt (three to four each), and two used by Clown, Cherub, Okapi and Thylacine.
Most of the terts we have don’t do much to the belly, aside from Underbelly and Glimmer, which fill the role of simple belly; what we don’t yet have is a gene that does vibrant things predominantly to the underside and/or fall in line with highly patterned primaries and secondaries (PoTox, Clown/Eye Spots, Cherub/Seraph).
What if, rather than a highly patterned top and sides and comparatively plain underside, we also had the option of dragons with it the other way around?
So I roughly mocked up this on Snapper F, as they show off the underside extremely well:
(I was also going to do it on WIldclaw M, to show it on a different build, but maybe later)
Lace (or Venom, or Envenom)
I’m going to refer to it as Venom for readability’s sake.
This tertiary gene uses part of the palette used for Poison and Toxin. For reference, this is the palette used by Flaxen Po/Tox:
This gene suggestion would use the two palette colours at the upper left – the colours for the top/flanks and splotches – in this case a yellowish cream and a dark purple. Using this standard, this is how the gene would look:
Venom has the potential, depending on which of the 177 colours the tert is in, to look monochrome, muted, eyeburning, or anything in-between.
Here is Flaxen Venom over Flaxen Poison/Toxin, and a few other genes:

It’s a bit more aggressive than a lot of suggestions probably are, but we don’t have anything quite like this as a tert, so, yeah!
