Skins and Accents

[img]http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/312/9/5/strata_snapper_by_randomznez-d6tg47l.png[/img] so. much. rock 0_______________0 Strata based off of strata layers in the earth :) this one features an intrusion formed when a volcano erupted through the strata levels, leaving igneous rock through the intrusion that cooled rapidly into obsidian. may do another entry at some point :)

I'm really happy with the way this one came out. I like to think it's a statue that protects an old cave of gems. [img]http://media.tumblr.com/549c1e6de1b3a12f7c58ffa08c48e97b/tumblr_inline_mvxsuqqSDL1ra4oiy.png[/img] [b]Good Within[/b] I saw someone else had done a geode snapper, but I've had this finished for a month now and I'm still too attached to give it up, haha! I was originally going to use this as an Arcane design but realized, you know, as celestial as amethyst looks, this makes a much better Earth skin.

Trying this one again, I may replace it if I make another I like better or refine it. None of this is a brush/texture... just one big headache. ;)
