Based on the colors of bismuth in its natural and crystalline forms. ([url=http://i40.tinypic.com/afbo5h.jpg]Link[/url]) I just couldn't work out how to make the stairstep patterns of bismuth crystals flow with the organic shape of a dragon, so I chose to represent the colors instead.
