This time around I used references for the wings because my normal squiggle style just wasn't doing it for me. Especially because my art is going to be immortalized on this site lol Anyways, I'm pinging all of you to ask what colours you'd like to see in terms of recolours? To be honest, I suck at choosing colours so I'd love to know what other people like for skins/accents in general, as well. Choosing the colours was the hardest part of the last skincent I made tbh Again, this is a sketch, this isn't what the final product will look like ^^ Can you tell that I love incense, plants, and wings... as for recolours, i always rlly liked purple + gold/orange palettes :D the wings could be a darker purple, and the highlights on the feathers could be gold! even a flat yellow/orange would look good against a darker purple :o

and I have so many colour themes in my lair so im gonna list a bunch that would fit in with them! xD
just sugesteions and would be happy to se any of them ;)

1. darkbrown/black wings and vines with gold shine and jewelery and lantern

2. colours that match the strange chest background, so dark Green/bluish wings with like a gohtsly feel to it, with the lighter green from the sceene for the smooke and candle and jewelwry/wrappings

3. Inspired by the Incense Mantle apperal peice, so maybe dark brown/gray/black that fades into red with the red / gray smoke and red flame? idk..

4. dark olive green for the wings and lighter moss green for vines, and gold for finer details. i love a golden swamp baby~

5. Darker purple / black for wings and main bits, and orange/gold details for smoke + wrappings. like the tide and foam gene in the colour clay. (se dragon here https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/82399537 )

6. a blood themed one is always popular, so deep red wings, either with black or white details or a mix of both?

7/8. Autumm themed, with deep oranges and browns kinda like this dragon, https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/80115187 where the orange in the details are almost used as a bronze metal for details on the horns

or like this one https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/80707606 where you mix the orange with a turquoise/light blue for a colour contrast and white/cream coloured details.

Hopefully not to late to offer suggestions/inspirations for colors! Below are accents/skins I will always buy coloristically! This is a gorgeous skin by the way! I hope you can finish it as soon as you're able!

001. autumn colors (so gingers, browns, some darker reds leaning more maroon with copper/gold accents)
002. creams/white golds
003. dusty colors such as tans, beiges, sand-tones.
004. grey tones such as slate, taupe, and driftwood.
005. blackish tones such as, well black, but also oilslick, eldritch, obsidian, and coal!
006. I also love tarnish and copper colored things!

basically...if it's elegant/royal, dusty and dirty, earthy or light-themed I am usually a big fan! or if it has a rustic blue/brown/coppery tone! c':

I did make a purple/gold version since you & Rhane requested it @Rhane , Thank you for all the ideas, they really helped! I chose to do a purple/gold mockup and an autumn-themed one @bonivich , You're not too late at all, I hadn't even finished the lineart when you pinged! First of all, I'm going to be updating my rules so everyone who signs up for a run of an accent will send a cr with the gems/treasure. I've had some people who weren't sending gems when they were supposed to, which was fine because at the time I had the spare notn gems to cover their costs. But, this time I don't have as many, so I'll need as many people to send gems for blueprints as possible Secondly, I'm not sure I'd be able to sell so many different colours of this accent, so I'm going to ask people to vote for which accent you like best. All recolours (purple/gold, cream/gold, autumn, & dust/green) don't have coloured lines/shadows so I could finish them faster. I'll make sure they're completely done by the time I release the most popular ones ^^ Thank you for any help, I really appreciate it!
