Backstory: Created by a splinter group of scientists who, instead of continuing to attempt to create Mewtwo, chose to refine the Ditto species. Patchie, so named for their Shiny patches, was created to get rid of the "Ditto face" in transformations, and succeeded but at the cost of control over what the Pokemon transforms into. Patchie had been attempting to escape for six months, before the Mewtwo project succeeded, only managing to do so after Transforming in a Kirlia and sneeze-teleporting.
Patchie had enjoyed their newfound freedom for most of their life, if not always easily as they basically have to gamble with their Transformations. And then they got lured into a trap and brought into THIS lab, much to their dismay. At least they aren't forced into a small glass room 24/7 like the last one.

Extra Info: Their transformations are determined by a random Pokemon generator, and incapable of transforming into Legendaries and Mythicals for balancing purposes. Pseudos like Tyranitar and Garchomp are on the table though, assuming the generator goes for it.
