Instead he went with the more favourable topic, "Ah yes, there are some fine fish around here." He frowned, "If only it were easier to get at them without getting your feet wet. I wish you the best of luck for your hunt, the Tundras make a pretty little spot for a walk, but the quarry's not to my tastes." Sunny noted movement behind his icy companion, he peered over, head cocked slightly to one side again (it had become something of a habit, picked up from one or two of the mirror males in his clan). From this angle he couldn't see the other mirror dragon, but he caught sight of tiny head popping up from beneath the ice. The ridgeback had very little experience with Fae dragons, but he'd heard their size was nothing to be laughed about, the little ones had quite the hand for the magical arts. Cautious, careful, right, he chose a silent nod as greetings to Wasp, a universal greeting in all of the species. Another voice caught his attention and his gaze shifted from the little dragon to the other mirror dragon, he knew he'd seen two dark shapes earlier! He smiled warmly at her comments. "Thank you! And much the same to you, you have excellent taste in markings."

"Thanks! I really like your wings, as well." The eyespots were eye catching emerald against the ridgeback's grey body. Terrangeli frowned. "I am not sure if I would want my wings to be like that, though." She looked thoughtful. "They would look pretty shimmering, I think." Terrangeli mused about it for a little longer before focusing again. "So, mister, what is your name?"

I am always looking for dragons with the same primary and secondary color and are either Iridescent, Shimmer, not a plentiful breed, or more than one of the above.

But the giant simply nodded to her, and she relaxed her posture, dipping her own head. Flapping her wings a couple of times to dislodge the thin sheet of ice that had formed from water that froze before it could be shaken off, she launched into the air. She was more at home in the air than on the ground or in the water -- she had much more maneuverability, and she didn't have to look up into the jaws of other species of dragons so much. She drifted closer to the newcomer, crest half inflated with curiosity. Her curiosity had always been stronger than her common sense. Still, the mirrors didn't seem to think this dragon was a threat, and he didn't have fire in his eyes, so Wasp hovered nearby. "You haven't come to wreck the snow like the firebreathers, have you?" They would not like each other very much if he had.

"My my, I don't think I've received so many compliments in a year as I am today, thank you and you're quite welcome." He stretched his wings for a moment to give a better view of the eyespots before folding them once more. "Mmm yes, I think you might be right." He spoke fondly now, "My mate has a fine set of red shimmering wings, they're very pretty." Sunny lifted a front leg and studied his talons during the pause, looking back to the feisty little mirror as she began to speak again. "I'm called Sunny," He put on a pantomime frown for effect, "Perhaps for my sunny disposition?" His face relaxed again, "And what about you little miss?" He noted a slight draft to one side and turned his head to find himself face to face with the dark Fae. "Wreck the ice?" He repeated, sounding rather shocked at the prospect, "If I were to wreck the ice I'd have nothing to stand on, and I'm not overly fond of swimming."

"Is your mate big like you?" she inquired, imagining a more feminine version of Sunny but with shimmering, tomato red wings that glinted in the sunlight. She lingered in her imagination a while longer before realizing Sunny had asked her a question in return. "My name is Terrangeli," the young dragon replied. "In another language, it is a combination of the words earth and angel." Terrangeli paused. "Or at least, that is what my mother says. I have never heard this language, so I do not know for sure. Everyone in my clan has names derived from this mysterious language, though."

Wasp asked, gazing into the giants curious green eyes. Wasp had heard of the nature dragons, but this was her first time meeting one. "Not that I want you to wreck the snow of course. That is where a grubs live.". But Wasp was good enough at other species body language to tell everyone wasn't hostile, so she was convinced Sunny -- what an odd name for a dragon in the ice fields -- was not a threat.

Dorgu asked, tucking her tail up under her wings where it was away from the cold air. "I'm forever worrying about my scales freezing to the ground." "It's not that cold," Theniel said from his perch on her head. "You're just delicate." Dorgu snorted, shaking her head in a half-hearted attempt to dislodge the Fae. He wasn't particularly heavy, but his inability to not fidget like a lunatic made him a terrible hat. "Call me delicate again and I'll toss you in the sea." She would, too. It wouldn't be the first time. Theniel just laughed, his wings twitching. "Well, we are running kind of low on seafood, or so Vythran said." "You do realize we're supposed to be working, moth-brain?" Dorgu told him, turning her attention back to her task. "If you keep distracting me, you get to explain to the boss-lady." "I'm bored." Theniel complained, wrapping his tail around Dorgu's neck. "You're always bored," Dorgu pointed out, keeping all four eyes on the figures in the distance. "Not my problem." She flared her crest up, abruptly dislodging the perching Fae and signalizing the conversation was over for now. At least until Theniel found something else to nag her about. In the meantime, she had dragon-watching to do.

Terrangeli certainly was a curious one, then again, curiosity only became a bad quality when it's subject turned sour. Sunny didn't mind, he was just grateful of some new company, "Not so big, no. She makes up for it in kindness though." He could go on for some time on the subject, but perhaps it would be better not to bore the others with his love life if he wanted to keep them around. Luckily the mirror had changed subjects, "I can't say I know that language! Perhaps it was spoken in the old world? I can say that I've never heard another name like it." On the other side the Fae's staring had made the giant a little uncomfortable, "I hope they do! But I prefer to keep my feet on the ground if I can. And besides, the Floes are the only home I know, why would I want to destroy my home?" He remained quiet for a moment until a thought struck him. "Ah! How rude of me! I forgot to ask your name," He addressed Wasp first, then turned to Stiria, "And your's," He thought back to her earlier hostility, "If you don't mind giving it, that is."

"I suppose it would be heavy, carrying all those spines in the air." It would be so dull, staying with all feet on the ground for so long, though. Wasp felt almost sorry for the giant. "It's good that you're not here to disturb the floes," Wasp continued, crest relaxing. She dipped slightly in the air. "My name is Wasp." She flew a slow circle around Sunny's head. "So the ice doesn't bother you? I thought most green things withered from frost." The ice even bothered her ice-born mate, sometimes. It would freeze in places he could not reach and build up, protecting his body but also making him heavy and easy to tire until Wasp helped break and remove it so his scales moved easily.

She was careful to do so lightly, though, as so to not disturb the ice too much. Meanwhile, Stiria glanced at Sunny. Perhaps she should not have been rude at first.
