This is completely optional. Yes there are dorms for those dragons that feel they want to be away from home. when reaching about two years before completing their education, they are required to stay in the dorms. Everyone can have a dorm, as I'm planning for Amber and Drone to move into a dorm :P

Oh yeah, the first one is definitely happening. The second is out of my control, but considering his default defensive personality is cocky and imperious (until people are undeniably friendly and approach him, like Velvet, and he stops being so defensive) its probably possible.
