A Wings of Fire Rp

Name: ShadowWatcher
Tribe: Night/Rain 50/50
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pansexual
Job?: In an assassin group in the rainforest, made up of nightwings. He is looked down upon because of his rainwing blood and he’s working hard to prove himself as a good assassin. They always give him far away missions that are a real pain, but he has to do them.
Personality: He’s a pretty nice dude actually and hates to kill. He just wants to be a spy but that isn’t an option in his job. Luckily they don’t trust him with jobs like that and they don’t know he doesn’t like them, so he doesn’t get assassinations very much.
Appearance: I don’t have a pic yet but he’s dark purple and green, pretty slender like a rainwing, with small rainwing frills. He has no control over his scales’ color, but they change on their own with intense emotion, mostly just to dark dark blue when he’s super sad vibes.
Strengths: Sneaking around, stealthiness, finding fruit, ack that’s it oh no
Weaknesses: Combat, being embarrassed, cold temperatures, won’t eat fish, swimming in rough waters, being intimidated, flying long distances
Oh and extra he fights with tranquilizer darts he makes himself that are copies of the rainwings’ darts. He really admires their craftsmanship and is working to that level still so his only knock a dragon out for a few minutes

Name:
North, goes by her alias, Frostbite

Age:
14.5 years

Tribe:
Icewing

Personality:
Frostbite is a rebellious and mean Icewing. She has a very dark sense of humor and could make any comment crueler than it actually was. She isn’t one to easily trust others or stick in a group, she prefers to solo it. She’ll pretty much attack anything that looks threatening. Frostbite can have her grumpy moments to where she’ll rip your head off, but does her best not to

Appearance:
Her scales are an eye-burning white dappled in ice colored freckles. The freckles are mainly on her face and shoulders. She isn’t probably the skinniest Icewing that isn’t in a dungeon, but she is muscular. Frostbite horns are her head are smaller than the average, but her neck spikes are quite large. She has really big teeth, like they poke out of her mouth when it’s closed. She has the normal sized wings and tail. Frostbite had a couple scars on her neck, the majority are on her chest and shoulders.

She likes to have metal over her knuckles, but her favorite weapon is a doubleheader spear.

Strengths:
Head-on battling, Battle strategies, hand to hand combat, flying, and her amounts of sarcasm

Weaknesses:
Dislikes the heat, allergic to lavender and roses, hates bees, isn’t the fastest, and doesn’t like it when others assume things about her

Oop I’ll just say his age is around there, like 15))
Along the side of the skywing mountains, a dark scaled dragon flew in the daylight. Sure, conditions weren’t perfectly ideal for a creature of his color to be flying through another tribe’s territory, but ShadowWatcher had no choice. With a distant destination and a miniscule window to complete the mission in, the other assassins had set him up to fail yet again. All he could do was try his best.

The hybrid had his rainwing ear-frills relaxed for once. He kept them pinned tight against his neck on most occassaions, as they embarrassed him and gave away his lineage, but right now there wasn’t anyone around to see them. It was actually pretry nice flying alone. But then the mood dampened when he spotted a group of red dragon hanging out in the skies ahead. He angled downwards and flew closer to the tops of the trees so that he could still fly at the same speed but hopefully evade the dangerous dragons above.

Frostbite

— — — —

A female Icewing slipped through the alleyways of the Skywing Kingdom, a hood clamped over her face. It would be weird for an Icewing like her to be here so she keep a low profile. She could only hope that someone would spot her and try to capture her to get that bounty. Frostbite let out a soft grunt before shifting out into another alleyway with her head low to the ground. The Icewing ended up walking straight into the market swamped with Skywings. She hissed softly and pushed her way through the crowds. Frostbite stuck her tongue out at all the scents that flooded her nostrils, it all smelled like heavy amounts of sweat to her. She slipped back into another alley and took a large breath of air.

That was just..ugh.” The female Icewing whispered as she continued through the halls. She was about to round a corner when she saw a group of Skywing guards chatting. Frostbite hissed and looked around. She couldn’t go head on this time, there was more than she could handle in such a tight space. Even if she used her frostbreath, it wouldn’t stand a chance against a bunch of firebreathers. Frostbite grumbled and returned back into the cramped market.

Soon passing by the Skywings, he flew on and stayed at the same low level, just in case one of them turned around and spotted him. He wouldn’t let his guard down for a couple more miles because of how fast this tribe could chase him down. It wouldn’t even be a challenge for them - he wasn’t quick in the air even for a nightwing. ShadowWatcher took this time to plot out his spy mission again, probably for the millionth time since he left the rainforest, but what else could he think about? It wasn’t like he had anything else going on.

There would be a tall palace with the Crescent the high ranking noble’s room right in the center. It would be a smart idea to head down from the top and then listen from a room on the floor above the noble’s room. Then he just had to wait and listen and hopefully the first thing he said would be where he was recieving his shipments of weapons from. If that wasn’t the first thing, there would be no way to get the mission done in time. Realistically, he knew there wasn’t a chance of finishing on time, so he just decided to get it done in however much time it took.

She felt someone shove into her and she let out a loud hiss as a warning. She looked at the dragon that shoved into her, seeing it was a dragonet. The Icewing looked away and continued her walking. Frostbite didn’t bother to say sorry to the child for she didn’t have a reason to. They had bumped into her, not her fault. She let out a grunt as her tail lashed from behind her. It seemed like she forgot that she had spikes at the end of her tail. Just like that, yelps of pain rang out in the market. Frostbite whipped around and saw that her tail spikes had pierced a dragon’s shoulder. She rolled her eyes and shook her tail loose, not even looking the dragon in the eye. The Skywing she poked glared at her and let out a deep snarl. Frostbite glared up at them and raised her eyebrow. She wanted to blow frostbreath right into his face and watch him die, but she was in an area filled with witnesses.

The female Icewing grunted, “It’s not my fault you were in my way.” Frostbite growled before turning around and trotting past dragons. She slipped into a building and waved the hood away from her face. The Ex-princess unhooked the hood, letting it draped over her shoulders. Frostbite looked around the abandoned shop and quickly went behind the counter. She shifted under the overhang and looked at the small pouches of coins. The Icewing gathered the pouches up and dumped them into her own pouch. Frostbite peered over to counter and saw that Skywing she had hit, follow her in. She raised her body up and drew air into her chest as her mouth started to glow.

She came out from behind the counter and shot a dart of frostbreath at the Skywing’s face. They had collapsed to the ground at the sudden attack before she had reared her fist back and aimed punched a punch at his cheek. Frostbite fell back a bit as she rubbed her hand and quickly made her way back out, slipping the hood over her face. Great, I just murdered a Skywing. That’s going to be lovely for Mother. Frostbite thought sourly before rushing through the crowds.

Now that he was a good distance from those SkyWings flying around, he allowed himself to rise up a bit and get higher over the trees, so that he wouldn’t nick his talon pn the branches every once in a while. The hybrid relaxed his muscles. Everything was back to smooth sailing. Maybe not for too long.. He thought nervously as he saw the open marketplace upcoming. Now this was a place he didn’t want to be seen. A mob chasing him down could form in a second.

The dragon let out a heavy sigh and dove through the tree branches when he got close to he market. It would be slower while he walked, and he still might run into dragons, but his gut was telling him that he had to go in the forest. And his gut had saved his life before, so he had to listen to it.

The Icewing scolding at herself as she moved, stopping when she got to a more open area. She could go for the Nightwing Kingdom or maybe the Rainwing Kingdom. It didn’t matter. As long as she was gone. Frostbite opened her wings and pounded herself up into the air. She looked around and quickly flew upwards, making her way above the clouds. The Ex-princess heard the swoosh of fire and snarled. Frostbite unhooked her hood and let it fly away in the wind. She had murdered someone and now? She was going to get chased by some guards if she didn’t get into the clouds. She whipped around and ice hiss out in the air, making some kind of small cloud.

She quickly whisked herself up into the clouds as she heard snapping. Frostbite smirked and dipped back through the air, diving into an alley. The female Icewing quickly burrowed herself under a bunch of rags and dust to cover herself up. Frostbite hit her own snout as she heard the sound of someone landing on the ground.

Under the cover of the forest, the spy moved quickly and quietly. He glanced over to the marketplace as he heard somebody coming out into the forest. That wasn’t gonna end up good. He took a deep breath and dashed away from the area, then continued north towards his destination. It would just be a bit longer until he arrived at his destination, and he still didn’t know how he was gonna get into the palace. Sure he could go through the top, but how did he get to the door? If he couldn’t even go anywhere near a skywing in the forest there was no way he would be able to fly straight at a bunch of them and fend them off, then break into the place they were guarding, which would certainly have more guards inside. Even if he used all 6 of his darts successfully, he still wouldn’t have a chance.

Slowing his pace back down, he pulled the scrap of parchment out of his bag. It had a terrible little drawing of the palace’s rough shape. ShadowWatcher stopped and sat down, leaning against a tree. He had to stop being a coward and figure out this plan so he could actually get the information.

She crushed herself against the ground as the footsteps slowly went past her, followed by angered voices. The Icewing blinked and just as the steps past her. She leaped into the air and flew above the homes. An angered yell sent to Skywing guards after her. Frostbite had just got above the trees before she felt something pierce her wing. The female Icewing let out a cry before falling through the trees. She felt the limb wack against her body before she collapsed onto the ground. Frostbite winced and lifted herself up slightly. She flinched and dragged herself into the deeper underbrush. “Just wonderful.” Frostbite hissed before falling into the ground.

The Ex-princess raised her head up and looked around. Can there be a snake around to bite me or something? I would die anyway if those Skywings find me? She thought as her tail lashed. Frostbite crawled forward a bit and peered through the bushes.
