There will be five. Five dragons set out from their clans to investigate Harpy activity. It's been 3 months. They're constantly fighting, but they are close. They have set up camp between Light and Lightning. We must win. We are closer to the base than ever. Let us win. Susica without her mask on. And if a silence filled the air do you think that anyone would even care? Would they be aware... of the mounting snow...

(Everyone come sub!)

Sute growled as she pounced on the harpy, killing it. The attacks came frequently, almost every day now. Their small camp was in danger of collapsing.
But they were close, SO SO close to the harpy base.
Sute said a silent prayer of thanks to the Flamecaller and began to devour the harpy.

Fugue sighed. Her branches were carrying her away, again. It seems as if every time there was danger, they launched her into the air with wings that barely worked. She cursed softly, writhing in the air, trying so very hard to convince her parasite that she needed to go back until they finally complied, reluctantly carrying her deadweight back to camp.

It seemed as if there had recently been another attack, and several bodies littered the ground. This prompted her to look for the least injured one -- after all, it could serve as a valuable vessel, if she were to investigate closer to the harpy's nest.

After she had found a proper harpy, she immediately set on repairing it, using more illusionary magic rather than legitimate healing. When she was satisfied, she propped it in her tent, and ordered her branches to carry her back outside, into the blinding light.

Sute sighed. "Ah keep thinkin' about all the others back at mah home. Ah know Poseidon misses meh terribly. Ah hope we don't die out here." she said. (She has an accent. She sounds like Merida from Brave)

Fugue glanced over to where Sute was standing, who had recently finished a meal. Instinctively, Fugue's branches carried her over to the large imperial, her legs dragging in the cold dirt. She glanced up at Sute, making eye contact before speaking.

"Is that the last of them?"

Sute sighed. "Not even close. We still need to get to the harpy base and kill Suscia. There will be dozens of harpies left. Ah hope Radar and Azula get back soon from scouting. They should be able to tell us how close we are to the harpy camp."

"I mean, are the ones who attacked the camp all gone."

Fugue scanned the perimeters of the ragged camp that they had set up. Over the course of five days, it had slowly deteriorated. Her branches jerked nervously, probably skittish from scouting. They probably thought she had a death wish.

She lifted her gaze to the horizon, looking for nothing in particular.

Raja stayed in her tent, resting. She needed energy, if her predator instinct was going to do anything. Or if her healing would have any chance at working. She hoped no one was injured. It always took a lot out of her to heal someone.

She heard voices from outside her tent. Were the harpies gone? She normally would have helped, but the others seemed to have had it handled. She stood up, stretching her wings, before leaving the safety of the tent.

"Fugue. Sute." She greeted them. It may not have been the world's friendliest greeting, but that was what was acceptable to her. She wasn't too certain about social skills, even now, so it was better to underplay it than to overplay it. She gave them a look that she thought to be friendly, though her face was obscured by her hood. It could have been interpreted any way.

I'm a pansexual with she/her pronouns. I don't mind a message or a ping! Timezone is +1 FR time.
Currently: Grew UP in the French court, oui oui bonjour, life was a chore so...
Radar stepped into camp, returning from a small patrol around the area. He had dispatched a couple more harpies he had seen along the way but he still hadn't found any traces of being almost to the main harpy camp. He knew they weren't far but they still weren't close enough to call this victory.
He headed over to where Fugue, Sute and Raja were. He nodded to them.
" Harpy activity is definitely getting heavier but I still haven't found any traces of the main camp. If we keep moving I estimate it should take us between a couple days and a week depending on the resistance we get."
