Zephyr | Sand-Ice Kingdom border | Open, anyone else at the border.
Zephyr was too close to the battlefield. It was a bloody mess- staining the snow and sand dark purple and crimson, and bodies littered the ground he scanned over, thinking of a way to get around it in one piece.
The battle scythe on his back had a metal lance, and the special leather straps fastened around his chest and abdomen had magnets along them to make it easier for him to grab and set back onto his spine again. He hooked his wing thumb claw under it, flipped it into the air, and caught it with his two front talons.
He could go straight through the field- it would be messy, but he was confident he would make it out with little less then a scratch. Or, he could go around, which would take longer but he would be much safer and less likely to be followed. He was already late- the note had come only the day before, and he had struggled to make it to the border within the day. He flexed his wings, then shot into the air and decided to go around. He kept the spear end of his weapon ready to jab at anyone who decided to follow him, and as he approached the rendevous point, he came in for a landing and smacked his weapon back onto its magnets.
He started approaching an IceWing, which he guessed would be their informant, or leader, or whatever. His talons left little divots in the ground as he walked, and he loosely folded his wings and cocked his head.
"Nice spot. I like the battle going on in the background- really adds some suspense to the whole thing." he said to her, his voice a deep baratone and sarcastic. He wasn't exactly in a good mood and felt pretty chatty today- hopefully the cranky looking IceWing wouldn't mind.
