Zephyr | Sand-Ice Kingdom border | Open, anyone else at the border.

Zephyr was too close to the battlefield. It was a bloody mess- staining the snow and sand dark purple and crimson, and bodies littered the ground he scanned over, thinking of a way to get around it in one piece.
The battle scythe on his back had a metal lance, and the special leather straps fastened around his chest and abdomen had magnets along them to make it easier for him to grab and set back onto his spine again. He hooked his wing thumb claw under it, flipped it into the air, and caught it with his two front talons.

He could go straight through the field- it would be messy, but he was confident he would make it out with little less then a scratch. Or, he could go around, which would take longer but he would be much safer and less likely to be followed. He was already late- the note had come only the day before, and he had struggled to make it to the border within the day. He flexed his wings, then shot into the air and decided to go around. He kept the spear end of his weapon ready to jab at anyone who decided to follow him, and as he approached the rendevous point, he came in for a landing and smacked his weapon back onto its magnets.
He started approaching an IceWing, which he guessed would be their informant, or leader, or whatever. His talons left little divots in the ground as he walked, and he loosely folded his wings and cocked his head.
"Nice spot. I like the battle going on in the background- really adds some suspense to the whole thing." he said to her, his voice a deep baratone and sarcastic. He wasn't exactly in a good mood and felt pretty chatty today- hopefully the cranky looking IceWing wouldn't mind.

Tide | Between Sand and Ice | Anyone at border

Tide hated the sandwing territory, she wasn't going to say that to any venom tailed dragon that asked her but inwardly she was cursing the entire time. Too dry and the sand got caught under ones scales and the air hurt her nose in its heat.

Why had she even agreed? For all she knew it was a trap! But if it was why her? Why not the seawing princess or captain of the guard? Did they find out about her? No, that couldn't be it either...she had spent so much effort staying hidden, a secret.

So why her of all dragons?

Thats why she came she supposed. She tucked her wings in as she spent the last stretch of the journey on foot, aware of the conflict in the skies up ahead. Who else would be there? Other seawings? Or would it be a mix of all dragons? Her heart hammered in her chest as she ran towards the rondevu point. Hesitating as she saw some dragons already there, already talking.

This was a bad, bad idea.

Her stomach churned and she ducked her head in unease.

Plush | Between Ice and Sand territory | Tags: Whom she can see, Zephyr

"Ah yes, blame it on the dragon that was sent to help you, not protect you." He seemed...battle-ready to say the least. Not what she was expecting Him to chose. She flicked her ear as a drop of blood landed on her snout, muttering at it and rubbing it off. Did they really have to start fighting now, when down below she was trying to find the dragons He sent the letters to save their sorry ***** to?
"Nice weather, I think there's a chance of blood rain! How great is that?" Plush glanced at the dragon next to her, wondering what he would think of her.
To make him do what I need him to do. Gain his trust, 'bond' then take it all away once they ended it. If they end it. She shook out her own feelings of worry and focused on him. Hybrid probably.
He escaped someone? Wonder how much I can sell his scales for. And the thing she noticed before. Quite a lot of sharp things.
"You may want to hide somewhere. They might spot you and stop fighting each other for a tooth or nail of yours. I heard both the queens only have one or two old hybrids."

With that she started trotting off, still having a little time to look for the others.

Princess Moonwalker // Night Kingdom Border

Moonwalker smiled and lifted her head up, then Mother’s soldiers escorted everyone away. Moonwalker frowned and lowered her head, “Moonwalker.” Her mother spoke as Moonwalker whipped around. “I’m just trying to make everyone happy Mother!” Moonwalker growled as she opened her wings and flew off. Moonwalker’s mother sighed and shook her head, then left back into the palace.

Moonwalker flapped her wings against the air as she snarled, then dived down to the ground. Moonwalker neared a border of the Sand and Night Kingdom. Moonwalker blinked as she looked around the area. Moonwalker paced around, her tail swished as she walked. Moonwalker began to hum to herself to calm done, her eyes glanced over to the Sand Kingdom border.

“Maybe an adventure would be bad.” Moonwalker mumbled as she felt the hot sand under her claws. Moonwalker began to walk along the Night and Sand Kingdom border, attempting to clear her head.

Dovekie, Ice Kingdom-Sand kingdom, Tide/ anyone at Border forgot that part whoops

Dovekie watched as other dragons approached, following the hybrid with his eyes as they went around the loud battle. He'd never seen a hybrid before, and was shocked. He stared more than he aught to, before refraining his gaze to scan the rest of the desert.

He started to make his way through the sand dunes, following a path similar to what the hybrid did, but he narrowed his eyes as the icewing walked away from the hybrid. Was this not the right dragon, their escort, after all? Were they both as clueless as him, instead of one? He clicked his tongue and looked past the two, staring more at the ground as he thought to himself before looking up again, noticing what looked like- well, he got his second surprise. Another seawing- he was pleased, but pitied them slightly, the sun was a devil and couldn't set soon enough.

He headed towards them, noticing them watching the icewing and hybrid like he had. A better change they're here from the letter than a stroll, the sand kingdom being...what it is.. He kicked sand as he walked to show his presence, not wanting to startle the stranger. They seemed nervous, head bowed. He went to beside them.

"Do you know if that's the one?"

He nodded in the ice wings direction, being vague. His voice was a bit raspy, dry. Maybe this dragon was talkative, and he could get some information- if not, best not to reveal himself, no matter the situation.

Zephyr | Border | Plush

Zephyr flexed his jaw and let out a low, barely audible, rumbling growl. The IceWing was looking at him like she was deciding what price to put on him. He hated it when dragons did that- but he was used to it. Plus, he towered over the IceWing, and as long as he kept his guard up he knew any tries at turning him over for a profit where slim to none- at least he thought that from his first impression of the IceWing..

A large splattering of purple red blood hit his face scales from high above, and he let out an exasperated sigh. He was never going to get used to that feeling- sticky, cold in this case- disgusting blood seeping in between his scales. He tried to wipe it off, but it only smeared across his face in a morbid, scary kind of way. Frustrated, he let out a growl and followed Plush. It would be smart to hide, since he couldn't take on a whole batallion of dragons by himself and knew what lengths queens went through to display their power.

He was curious as to how many others had been sent the letters- and how many of them had actually made the trek to the middle of no where. So far it was just himself, but maybe the others were late, too. Above him, he saw something approaching them- something dragon sized- and as it got closer, he realized it was the body of a lilac colored IceWing. He moved out of the way and his lip curled in disgust at the sound of its bones crunching as it slammed into the ground, and found an almost concave boulder to sit behind until the others appeared.

Reckless | Battlefield on the border | Open

Reckless let out a delighted cackle as she sliced her talons across the lilac IceWing's eyes. They let out a screech of pain and blindly exhaled a funnel if frost breath, which Reckless avoided by tucking in her wings and dropping below them.

I'm going to be late- but this is too much fun. she flashed a beautifully deadly grin and did a flip in the air, stabbing her stinger into the IceWing's heart and tearing open a hole in their chest. They died too fast- it was no fun fighting the regular soldiers. Her toxic green eyes scanned the ground below her, and she heard the body hit the ground with a satisfying crunch and spotted the dragon she was supposed to be meeting with- which happened to be an IceWing, from the looks of it. Wouldn't it be funny if she saw what I had done to this dragoness before I landed? she giggled to herself, flexing her talons and banking around the fighting to retreat the battle and head to the rendezvous point.

She was caught off guard when an IceWing slammed into her from above, sending her reeling through the air with wonderful strength. She righted herself in time to avoid another pair fighting and launched herself out of the way right as a blast of ice breath hit the SandWing behind her.Oops. No hard feelings, buddy. She went on the offensive, dodging the IceWing's attacks and tearing at him with her claws. He let out a battle cry that seemed to echo around the sky itself and he launched himself at her back and they both careened towards the ground.

Reckless barely slowed her descent enough to keep from being killed from impact, and the force of her landing sent a shock up her joints, but nothing broke. The IceWing pinned her to the ground and grabbed one of her horns, then yanked her head sideways and looked into her eye.
"That was my sister, you cold hearted b*tch." he said icily, his cold breath hitting her face and sending a chill down her spine. Reckless felt her tail underneath his back talons slip some, and she grinned at him, flicking her ear back and letting out a chuckle.

"Why don't I send you to the other side with her?" She said. Her tail ripped out from underneath his hind leg and she lashed it as hard as she could against the side of his head, stabbing him squarely in the temple. He let out a scream, clutching at his face and the deadly barb hooked into his skull. He collapsed to the ground, dying slowly- the poison was spreading slower then she would hope. She let out a little satisfied sigh as she felt his pulse become sluggish with the tip of her stinger, a cruel smile on her face.

Reckless stood up and ripped her barb out of the side of his head, then stabbed him directly in the heart to finish him off quickly. She looked up at the battlefield- no one had noticed, or if they did they didn't care enough to do anything about it.

Then she looked out in front of her, surprised to see two SeaWings not two hundred feet away. Did they get notes, too? She waved at them, perked her ears, and started jogging over, her hood bouncing on her head and a ****-eating grin on her blood splattered face. If they were going the same place she was going, then they could get to the rendezvous together. If not, well, she could always handle a couple lost SeaWings. She didn't care if she looked crazy, which she did, and part of her hoped they wouldn't think she was trying to kill them.

Tide | Between Sand and Ice | Anyone at border

Tide glanced up to the other seawing, her eyes widening in surprise and gave a small gulp.

"I... do believe so, otherwise I'll have a lot of explaining to do"

She once again fiddled with her necklace, some of the shells smoother than others from the constant rubbing.

"I...I think the other one is a hybrid, atleast....doesn't seem like any...I want to say skywing... I've seen."

She turned to look at the other dragon.

"You got the letter than too?"

Every body that fell from the sky earned a wince, every battle cry, screech of pain.... every noise of conflict seemed to remove an ounce of courage from this dragon, what little she appeared to have in the first place anyway.

"T-the bodies are falling like raindrops..."

She turned her head, letting out a loud yelp at the monstrous looking dragon that had approached the two, turning and rushing behind the other larger seawing. her tail tucked between her legs.

This was a huge mistake, such a huuuuge mistake.

"Yes, definitely some sort of skywing or a red favouring rainwing.

He ignored the battle mostly, but the thuds of dragons were hard to ignore. He flicked his ear at the other Seawings more poetic comment, not sure how to respond.

"I do believe that is the point."

He didn't really know what he meant himself: The point of the battle was to kill, or The point of them being there. Perhaps both. He watched a body flunk almost on the part skywing- before seeing them leave. He did not want to look at the battle, not wanting to loose his nerve even if he would continue on nerveless anyways. However, his eye quickly looked up to where the body had fallen from. A sandwing, or perhaps the one next to them, continued on with bloody work. He grimaced.

" Well. No time like the present, I think they may be leaving."

He started forward a step, looking at the other seawing to come join him before they abruptly stopped and cowered behind him. He tensed up all the way to his tail, unsure weather to feel powerful or deeply worried as he turned back to see the sandwing- was it the one he had been watching? Approaching.

Sweet lizardmouth, they must think us sick, looking for a show. No, that's not it. They look...hm. About to much on the insane side for my liking. We're on their side, so perhaps they think us cowards- surely they aren't looking for a fight.

Although there was no explanation, he did convince himself that this dragon either, first of all, had issues, or second of all, was coming towards them with that smirk as nothing short of 'probably not a good thing'.

"Hello. We aren't here to fight, is our staring throwing off some of your comrades? If so, then I believe we can just move right along. Sorry for the intrusion, may Pyrriha bless you."

He kept his eye on the sandwing as he quickly began going to where they could "safely" pass around the battle. His tone remained plain but somehow sugary, he didn't feel like pulling out any cards. He flicked his tail to gesture for the other seawing to follow along, figuring she didn't want to chit chat with the bloody sandwing.

(Same, but I don't believe I would want to meet a certain character face to face. shoo, shoo, demon)

Princess Moonwalker // Sand/Ice Border

Moonwalker drifted along the Night Kingdom and Sand Kingdom border, her body swayed along with the wind. Moonwalker glanced around as her ears twitched, she heard...yelling? How could she hear yelling at this time? Moonwalker began to trot over to the sound, the yelling kept getting louder and louder.

Moonwalker gasped as she saw the battle. Moonwalker glanced around, what were al these dragons doing? Moonwalker’s gaze caught a hybrid. It looked like a Skywing and something else.(Sorry it’s short ;-;)

Reckless | Border | Tide, Dovekie, anyone else at the border

Reckless perked her ears forward and cocked her head. "Oh, I'm not really with them. I was just passing through and there was a battle to be fought. I can't resist a little bloodshed." She spoke with a southern drawl, and had a sweet voice despite what she had just done. She grinned at them and flicked her tail over her back, and purple-blue blood dripped off her stinger and onto her scales.
"I'm here cause of a note. It would be stupid for two SeaWings to just be adventuring in the desert of all places, so I figure you're here cause of one, too?" She purred curiously, mantling her wings and flicking her ears at them.

Zephyr | Sand-Ice Border, hiding behind a rock | Moonwalker

Zephyr noticed a couple of SeaWings a distance away speaking to a SandWing. It looked odd, so they were probably here cause of notes, too. He observed the battlefield, wondering which side was stronger.
As he turned back around, his gaze fell upon a NightWing. They must have gotten a letter, too, or they were very lost. From their appearance, they seemed to be the latter.
He stood up and shook the sand off of his golden brown scales, and the rose-gold scales along his neck gleamed in the bright sunlight.
"You look Lost." he said pointedly, flicking an ear in her direction.
