Star burst out of the ocean with the rest of the Seawings and climbed the
beach to rest atop the hill before flying. She relished the gritty sand between her talons and remembered she would not feel it again for quite awhile. It saddened her, but she remembered she was going to the Jade Mountain Academy! Dragons of all tribes! Scrolls! Learning! Dragonets of destiny! Maybe her own new destiny! It made her heart flutter until she realized that all the other Seawings had left her in her fantasy. She hurried to catch up, wings pumping as fast as her heart.
Star went still, like a petrified rabbit as soon as she came through the
entrance. It even smelled like destiny! She saw a Nightwing who looked older. Maybe he would know where she would go? She gasped when she saw it was Starflight. THE STARFLIGHT! "Welcome to Jade Mountain Academy. Here is your welcome scroll and maybe you could stick around a while and meet some of the new arrivals." Star could almost imagine his eyes twinkling, though he had none. She wished she had gotten to see them when they were there. They must have sparkled with intelligence. Her heart skipped a beat. She muttered a quick and polite greeting and thank you and ran off. She saw a group of dragons forming. It consisted of a Sandwing, a Rainwing, and... wait... was that a hybrid!? No.. wait.. two hybrids! Star had so many questions! She hurried over to introduce herself.
