"It's really rare that I leave the clan at all, I'm always needed here for one thing or another. Lepus is the one I trust to speak in my place most of the time, but this is somewhat of a special case, I think you'll agree." Pyxis flicked his tail to the side, pausing before elaborating.
"In this situation, I've been deferring to Luca's judgement for the most part, which I've been really pleased with so far, but still want to offer my own input on. And yes, if you'd prefer, we can discuss these matters elsewhere." Without so much as a warning, Pyxis' whole casual demeanor had changed. The humble merchant perched with straight posture and a more subdued but nonetheless still friendly smile.

lav has had children with a male from another ally clan! her two daughters live with her as part of the royal counsel; her son lives with his dad. kurt and ram have found their way into the clan, kurt as a trainer and ram as a guard.

He turns his attention to Emery and Lepus, "will you two be joining usss?" The question wasn't meant to sound offensive, he was simply curious if the two would join their talk of politics and trade.

i like how your clan has gotten pretty well developed and properly terrifying and then theres the goggle translated ver of wraith's bio that just makes me giggle so much. assuming Luca has been with the clan for... most of this new time given the fact that he's an apprentice shade mage pretty much at this point, is there anything new he'd know? where does he stand in the politics of the Gardens?
Also, there are similarities between Daemon and Technophobia- namely their habit of hanging around who they see as their 'master' like a dedicated lapdog, and I really like that a lot, unintentional as it probably was. It leads to the possibility of a comparison between Damon, who's supposed to be Bella's enemy, and Luca, who is quite the opposite and i just thought that was super cool ok

"You won't feel like we're ganging up on you?" He asked, causing an amused smile to form on Pyxis' maw. The tiny Nocturne left Emery's shoulder with what would have been a mighty flap of his wings if one was fae-sized, and shared a telling look with the golden mirror before speaking.
"If it's alright, It'll just be us. Emery will probably take it upon herself to keep watch outside for whatever reason, while I can just fill in Lepus later. If anyone were to join us, it would be Aurum, but she can be..." The Nocturne shrugged his shoulders, mid-flight.

Though not a cautious family, the Shadowed Gardens tended to be somewhat wary of other dragons; it took lots of consideration and clan meetings before they decided to attempt an alliance.
"ah, that is far enough." The coatl rolls his shoulders in a small shrug, grumbling as the joints popped. He was getting old, he concluded, the stiffness was a result of age and not the lack of rest he'd chosen. His head tips up at that. Aurum... He would look for her afterwards; a wider smile spreads along his features.
