Night had fallen as the breeze blew neatly, a few loose leaves dancing down through the moonlight to land on the cracked marble. The flooring was ancient as the crumpled walls around it; symbols of a once prominent god decorated the bits of wall that survived. The ceiling had caved in and and only jagged pillars remained the tallest structures jutting upward into a canopy of looming trees and vines. The branches framed in a "window" between nature and the fallen wall, the moon peeking in the gap and lighting what appeared to be an elegant set up. Fine foods lined the table, candles alternating between the dishes. They glowed luminously, unnaturally, though not unpleasant. The flames shudder gently while a soft jingling echoed, and the beating of wings could be heard.

The dragon dropped low, sleek black body adorned in full, golden regalia. Glamour chains swung pendulously whilst the gems hanging off clinked and glitter. Her nostrils flared, releasing a shuddering exhale before the form shrunk. An uncharacteristically smaller female stood in comparison to the dragon that once was. Black gowns spread out behind her, and hugged her frame up top. Golden silks and veils spread from where her wings covered, and massive curls the color of night rolled down her back. The theme of gold continued even throughout her hair and up to the shining crown nestled in the coils on her head. Her eyes, however, shined like icy starlight--aglow in the dark.

She seemed to radiate a soft light, beyond just her jewels. This indeed was no mortal, had the dragon form not been enough. She stepped forward to the table, checking the food as she ran a generously ringed hand over the tablecloth. Once she was satisfied everything was in order, she stepped back. A small smile graced her lips, hopeful for the event to come.

Seemingly to twirl around in the sky, a dragon that seemed to sparkle circled the temple, slowly making her way downwards to land. With one last beat of her wings, she landed gracefully. Her form changed as she took steps forward, hearing only the wind blow, the clink of familiar extravagant jewelry, and sound of claws on marble. With one last sigh, Morael stood tall, gazing at the prepared banquet. It made her anxious... the threat of Godhunters certainly scared her, but having a chance to reconnect with the mortals canceled out the negative emotions.

Her long dark hair almost touched the ground as she made her way towards the table, and she wrung her hands together nervously before glancing over at the the beautiful goddess on the other side of the table. With a gentle smile and half-lidded eyes, Morael bowed deeply, her deep blue dress wrinkling at her hips. "Fortuna," she murmured, her voice carrying through the air like a gentle breeze wrapping around the both of them.

Standing tall once more, she turned to look towards the entrance of the temple, her face devoid of any emotion. "The night is beautiful," Morael whispered, turning her gaze up towards the sky. "Perfect for a banquet like this..."

Catrina stepped out of a pool of shadow, her bone-white facepaint eerie as she looked out. In the dim moonlight the shapes of swirls and flowers could be seen in muted colors that matched the dyes in her beard. Her skeletal paws made quiet clicks as she walked toward the black and gold figure, and a whisper of shadow surrounded her and the massive serpentine dragon shape was replaced by a tall and graceful woman clad in rich blue, her hat laden with candles and candies. She looked around for her husband, but didn't see him yet.

She approached the other goddess, painted lips turning up in a smile. "Hello, Fortuna. Hello, Morael. It's been some time."

---

Seeing the three ladies standing before the table, Teotihuacan slunk closer, his massive head slipping through a massive gap to look at them, flowers sprouting and twining up around stones near and under his paws. With a glow of emerald light, he changed his form and stood tall with a bouquet of marigolds, a bouquet of calla lilies, and a bouquet of white morning glories. He went to Catrina and gave her the marigolds, and she bent down to kiss him, and then he turned and offered Fortuna the lilies and Morael the morning glories. "Lovely flowers for a pair of lovely ladies?" he asked, smiling.

Nevermore

Out of the darkness of the night slipped out a dark hooded dragon along with a horde of ravens gathered around her. Her tattered guise gently swayed under the dimly lit night. The birds were wildly flying around the dragon, as if to act as a shield. With a flick of her claw, the dragon had turned into a young woman. Most of her appearance was covered by a black robe, but her dark crimson eyes stood out. They were calm just as they were mysterious. All of the ravens had vanished saved for one who was now perched on her shoulder.

Nevermore walked across the opulent halls and towards the banquet. She eyed everything indifferently. She disliked to leave the Underworld. This banquet didn't interest her. It didn't really matter to her if the mortals hated her. For gods' sake she was Death to them, of course a majority of them disliked her. She wouldn't have come if tonight wasnt obligatory.

Joining the other gods and goddesses whom have arrived early, Nevermore gave them a small smile. "Greetings, fellow gods and goddesses. It has been so long, hasn't it? I haven't left my realm for ages." Her voice was gentle and smooth as silk.

Levant

The trail of darkness left by Nevermore was, not long after, replaced by an illustrious light. In its bright wake, appeared a massive figure of an imperial. His presence was enough to illuminate the dim lit night. He wasn't afraid to make his presence known. The heavy armor clad around his body clamored each step he took. His form gradually shrunk to a tall armored warrior as he entered the banquet. While the light radiating from him wasn't as bright, it still gave a faint glow around him.

With an unreadable expression on his face. Levant stood still for a while, giving the whole banquet a cool gaze. After a moment, he gave a pleased nod. It displeased him that the place wasn't as well-decorated and clean as before. It was a clear sign that mortals weren't as loyal to the gods now. However, the well beautifully prepared feast made up for it.

Walking in confident strides across the room, Levant continued on to take his place with the other immortals. He gave the others a small nod of greeting. "Good evening," he greeted, his voice deep and husky. "I hope you are all doing well." He hadn't seen many of the immortals. Having a feast was a good way to talk and communicate in how things were going especially concerning the mortals.

A large shape burst from the waters surface, large wings spreading wide in the darkness of the night, the only source of light coming from the moon, and her brilliant green and blue markings along her body. To those who look close enough, two spots next to her can be seen in the dark sky. The behemoth looped in the air, water falling off her body as she stretched her wings and felt just how light she was above the water.
Landing on the ground, her large shape dripping sea water as she shook herself out. Content she was dry enough, she walked forward, her shape changing as she did so to that of a rather large woman. The blobs of water walked alongside her, taking the forms of large wolves. "Ra, Su, be on your best behaviors tonight ok? It's very important to your auntie Fortuna!" she stuck her little finger in Ra's body, wiggling it around and dazzling the rather large angler fish swimming inside him. Satisfied, she continued forward, her boots clunking on the ground as she made her way towards the group that had already began forming in the large hall. Spotting her sister she picked up her pace.
"Oh Fortuna sister dear! How lovely it is to see you!" She gave her sister a half hug before turning towards the others. "And Catrina dearest, lovely as ever I see!" She gave a deep bow, as did her pets, and she turned to the literal life of the party. "And good evening to you as well Teo! What lovely flowers! Did you bring any new water flowers? I just love to watch them bloom!" Turning to Moreal, "and my dear aunt Morael, you haven't aged a day" She gave a playful smile before turning to the others, "And how could I forget the wonderful Nevermore and her counterpart Levant! Ah, it's so lovely to see you!" she grabbed their hands for only a moment before letting them go and giving a twirl. "What a lovely evening to have a festival! The air is so crisp and clean and the moonlight is wonderful on this skin!" she hummed, rubbing her arms with a large smile on her face as she looked at them all. "When are we to begin? Who else will be joining us?"

Costus sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, sitting back against the rock he had been stationed at for hours. "I know they should be coming but they could at least be decent and arrive on time." He mumbled under his breath. Intel had told them that the gods would have their annual festival here but he was bored and they were supposed to be there an hour ago. Giving another grunt, he stuck his half-pair of binoculars up to his face, getting a good glimpse of several large creatures appear and change to look like humans. "Gotcha." He smirked, grabbing his lantern he began to fiddle with the settings, turning the oil levels up and down, flashing a signal to the others, letting them know that the gods were arriving.
Their time was coming, and the gods wouldn't know what hit them. Not until it was too late. He smiled, leaning back against the rock as he thought of how satisfying it would be to finally get his hands on the gods responsible for his lovers death. He rubbed his scars, feeling a slight ache as he thought of his past. "it's almost time mi amor, we'll make them pay." He grabbed his sword, drawing it closer as he waited for the others to arrive.

-I'll reply with Aether later, I'm sleepy and don't know how to intro her XD-

Crow's large, black and gold wings spread as he came in for a landing, his golden claws latching onto a horizontal beam. He slowed, flapping his wings a few times before pulling them in. He jumped down to the ground, the glow around him seeming to shudder as he landed, the only sound being his claws against marble, "As enthusiastic as always, eh Rusara?" he said softly. He approached them, his form changing to that of a fairly tall man with pale blue eyes, dark black hair and gold markings running where his black clothing did not cover.

He approached the other gods and goddesses, merely bowing his head to them as a way of greeting, "Fortuna." he said after a moment of silence, "As I understand... You were one of the master minds behind this? Do you know when the mortals arrive?" he knew the mortals would come and was quite excited, though he didn't quite show it. That and the sooner they arrive, the sooner he can leave and see to what he normally does. While most of the gods and goddesses resided in either their domain or one apart from the mortals, Crow took his own domain to be every where and often takes to flying around the earth, seeing and protecting what he could. Tonight was a much needed break, but he still felt the weight of no longer being out.

In a small, quiet forest, Evari was observing the flora and fauna, observing as the wind made the leaves rustle, as the deer scattered as they saw a outline of a wolf, a perfect ecosystem....
Time to ruin it
She clenched her staff, crouching down and seeing a anthill, interesting. She saw thousands of little three-blobbed insects going in and out, she wasn't really a fan of ants, or their eggs... Who puts a minute old baby in a white egg that has to hatch without interference? Oh right, chickens. I-va sighed, lowering her staff to the top of the anthill and just slicing it off, the sunshine peering into the small hole of the anthill, the ants were panicking, as if Evari murdered all their families intentionally. They started climbing up her leg and then coming back down because they were faced with illusions of ant-eaters that she set up. The young god giggled softly, standing up and walking off, trying to see what else she could have fun with; Like a massive herd of deer.

Filipa sailed over a stooping tree line, down the scope of a mountain. She'd left for Fortuna's banquet recently, rushing to make it on time. She flapped her fiery wings, ones that illuminated the night. Donned in numerous golden bangles, they clinked and clanged as she flew.

A dim light loomed in the distance, emitting from a forgotten temple. Nice venue, Fortuna. Filipa smiled softly, flapping her wings to gain speed. Like a shooting star, she arced over the shrine. Curving around a crumbling pillar, she drank in the scene. Leaves blew over the cold marble floor, disintegrating walls surrounding the numerous beautiful gods that were mingling, in human form. A beautiful night sky sprinkled with stars was cast above them, setting a comfortable mood. A few candles glimmered at each table, exotic foods melding among them.

Filipa morphed from her dragon state, her pearl transforming into a smaller version, a pendant dropping at her throat. Once gleaming skin transformed into blazing iridescent robes, coppery curls replacing the short-cropped mane tumbled down the goddess's back. A golden crown sat atop her forehead, clusters of Imperial Topaz weaving through he hair. Filipa strode over to Fortuna, her shimmering dress trailing behind.
'Fortuna, darling! I've missed you.' The goddess painted on a friendly expression, her pale arms outstretched for a hug.
