"Further than the stars, it seems, but I've come with a letter from my leader." He waved his tail around to give the sight of the brown paper with its black seal. "I don't think you'd want me to sing some jingle or anything for it, so enjoy." He whipped his tail around and grabbed the small, folded envelope in his claws and dropped it in Shinko's. From the way the slowly fading light from the sunset seeped into the room, his shadow made his body appear more towering than it was as he was standing in front of the crowned dragon near him. Mercury's once pink hide was engulfed in a dancing array of warm colors as the sun took its time to rest against the horizon. In a way, this made Mercury want to smile. +I wonder how large Ashes would be against him,+ he thought with an absent mind as Shinko read the- as Mercury guessed- peace treaty.
"I'm not surprised this is happening and all. After she gained connections to an ice clan below us, her want to expand her reaches of safety started to take over everything she thought about lately. She cares so much about her own. Lesser Mother would be able to sleep at night if this was able to be settled. I'm more than willing to fly back and forth to help address any terms and conditions with what's written unless seeing her face to face becomes your ultimate protocol." He ended that note with his tail bumping several times into Brice in a playful and certainly bored manner. How many times has he gone over the same lines? More than Windsinger and Flamecaller can count, probably. @batcruncher

"I wouldnt have minded if you had." Shinko said jokingly, gladly taking the note and opening it hastily. He read the treaty with a smile on his face. "I can understand wanting to assure the safety of your own." He nodded, looking up from the letter at the much larger dragon.

Brice chuckled, nervousness still gripping his throat as the ridgeback tail bumped him, having to shift to keep from getting pushed over.The nocturn couldn't help but to admire Mercury's coat and how his colors reacted to the lighting. Brice stuck his tongue out at him.

"I think a face to face meeting would work the best." Shinko said after thinking for a moment. "We can head out after you've rested. Until then, make yourself at home. If you have any questions or need anything, Brice can help." He folded the note up neatly.

Mercury smiled back at Brice and turned his attention to the leader once more. "Not only I, but Calavir and the rest of her clan thanks you for this. She is a fire Guardian with a passion for her subjects stronger than the flames that vent out from the core of her being. I would take caution when shaking claws with her, and trust me, I'd say that to dragons of any element if I could." The Ridgeback laughed lightheartedly and told his good wishes to Shinko before beckoning Brice to lead the way to the proper resting grounds for him. Outside once more, Mercury took a long breath in. Being a bit high up was definitely nice for the wind dragon due to the cool breeze swaying his fine clothing around his limbs, and even so, it calmed him after being so confident on shaky ground. His social performance is always spot on, but Ashes and even himself warn about the possible dangers of dealing with other clans.
"I hope my leader doesn't become too worried about how I'm fairing. She cares for me like one of her own hatchlings. I mean, I'd like to fly out and give her the good news, but my wings feel so tired from the flight here. Lesser Mother..." he dipped his head, "I love her so much." Mercury began to trail off with his thoughts as they continued walking.

Shinko laughed with him and dipped his head respectively. "My pleasure." He answered as he stepped out.

Brice followed Mercury out. "She seems like quite the dragon." The nocturne replied. "I hope I'll be able to accompany you and Shinko when you head back to your clan. it'd be an honor to meet such a dragon."
Brice lead Mercury along the side of the rocks to another cut out in the cave. "Here's where we sleep. Feel free to crash wherever, whenever. Oh, and let me know when you get hungry." He flicked his tail like a cat's.

"Thank you. I'll be sure to let you know, and by the way," Mercury lifted his tail, letting a certain purple flower crown drop on his head while he walked. "Don't you think you're missing something?" He playfully chimed in. The Ridgeback smiled. Due to how small the flower crown was, it wasn't the best fit to balance on the top of his head, but he made it work. Any dragon could tell how much he didn't want to end up bored in the cave. "Come on! Lets have some fun! Try to get it!" Mercury didn't seem to pay attention to any other dragon that may have been in the room.

Brice's mouth dropped open when he noticed Mercury had taken his crown. "H-Hey! Rude!" He laughed and crouched down like a cat, then pounced on him in an attempt to get his flower crown. The nocturne wasnt too concerned about waking anyone up due to how they were a nocturnal clan,so most everyone had gotten up to start their night.

Mercury cracked up laughing once more as they moved around each other with the prize. It didn't take long for the crown to slip off and end up in Brice's claws, but in any case, it was a nice time spent in the messenger's mind. "Aw, I guess I'll get to know the others around if you really have to leave. You can't escort me around just a little longer?" During his little question, he sat down, finally aware of how much his muscles were not agreeing with moving. He folded his wings in close to his body and stretched out as much as he could. "Er, on second thought, maybe that will do. My legs feel like a bag of soylent. Nope nope nope." He laid his head against the ground. "I ain't takin' a step after this."

Brice couldn't help but giggle, panting after the effort he put into getting his crown back. "You seem a but tired to see the rest of the clan. Exactly h-how far did you travel?" Mercury was obviously tired from the trip. "Either way i-I'll show you around when you get up, I'm usually out on the rock where i was earlier.

((ahh i must have sent it at a bad time o3o i loose pings and messages all the time. i like to read them and then forget that i didnt reply tho ; 3 ;))

((ooooooh! and for Mercury and Wren's meeting, i was thinking that Mercury could be "borrowing" something from my clan and here comes mr.goody two shoes to do his thing or something ó3ò anything you want to add on, change or any other ideass??)
