This is the 5th age. The age of the Beastclans.

Set 5000 years after the fall of the dragons, this rp follows a top secret group of beastclan who have a special history. They were descended from dragons. This lineage allows them the ability to change back to their ancestors form through magic imbued amulets. Now, it’s time to bring back the age of dragons, but there is a long trial ahead of them.



I know, that introduction sucked so bad, but if you are at all interested in this RP, there is much better written information in the post below. Please post to claim a spot, then proceed to read all the information at some point in time. I’m not done will all of the info yet, let alone editing, and images will be added asap. I just wanted to post it and get people’s opinions on the idea at least.

I’m hoping to make this into a longer term RP, so it may open later, but now, just to get it off the ground, there will be limited slots. 2 more slots opened up!

You are encouraged to have more than one character and if you think anything needs changing, just say! i’m totally open to discussion or suggestions.

[size=7]Prologue[/size] After so many years of being beat back by the dragons, the Beastclans adapted and they rose. Through a partnership between Arcanist and Stormcatcher aimed at providing their flights with better technologies, the Beastclans got a hold of stronger weapons, and magic to enhance their powers. They became as strong as emperors from this godly magic, and no dragon could take them down. They swept across Sornieth and almost wiped out all 11 flights, leaving only a couple hundred dragons still living, but scattered across the continent. The Deities met at the request of the Arcanist to discuss what would be done against the beastclans. The Icewarden argued that they should simply wipe the beastclans off the face of Sornieth, the Windsinger believed they should just move to a new planet and start anew as they had so many years before and the Earthshaker proposed they simply hibernate until the next age came. An agreement could not be reached with so many differing opinions and there was no easy way to reach an agreement with the extinction of dragon kind at hand. The Deities could only bicker while the last of their flights watched and waited, hiding from the strengthening beastclans. Just before each of the 11 deities parted ways after having reached no conclusions, the Arcanist spoke for the first time the entire meeting. “I have a way for us, and the remaining dragons to live on” His voice was low, there seemed to be a gathering of the beastclans outside of the observatory, waiting to kill the gods themselves. “But you will not like it” he did not elaborate. “Well? Tell us then!” The Tidelord cried. “You just want to save your image Arcanist” the Flamecaller hissed. “Do not play games with us anymore!” The Shadowbinder called as each deity waited expectantly. Finally, the Arcanist spoke again: “I propose we give up these forms and join the beastclans. Or form a new clan of our own. They will wipe us out if we do nothing, but if we change our forms and those of our flights to their own forms…” “Give up our forms? Firstly, how could you think in our names we would ever do that, and second, how would we do that?” The Plaguebringer said, disgusted with the Arcanist’s proposition. “My friends, brothers, sisters, have you forgotten? We are gods! We are the gods of this planet, and though we may not be celebrated now, we will be once more. We have been defeated, let us honour their victory, we will rise again some other day. I have magic enough to do what must be done. The gods will slumber while our flights live on. This is the only way.” Each of the Deities nodded in agreement as the door to the observatory shuddered as if under some unknown force. “Slumber well my friends. We will see each other again soon” The explosion that ripped apart the observatory was heard all across Sornieth as the dragons felt their forms changing. When they awoke to silence, they were not what they should be, with nothing to remind them of the force they had once been but a pendant shaped like their old form, clutched tightly in their hands. [size=7]Present Day[/size] over 5000 years have gone by with no end in sight to the 5th age when the dragons will reign once more. The Beastclans have evolved into mostly humanoid creatures similar to those seen in the second age and massive towns have been developed. Most of the magic that once filled Sornieth is gone, contained in the amulets of the gods, just waiting to be released. The once stark borders between the elemental lands have begun to blend into each other and many species native to these lands have begun to spread out. The last of the pillar fragments have crumbled to dust and the pillar itself has almost disappeared off the face of the world. 11 cities have sprung up, each specializing in a certain aspect of their community. Lupa, located in the northwest on the dry plains of Dragonhome specializes in providing raw building materials to the other cities. Kalikasan, located in the northeast in the lush forests of the Viridian Labyrinth specializes in providing a lot of food for the other cities. Malagicka, located to the west built up from the ruins of the Observatory in the Starfall Isles specializes in research and upkeep of history and schools. Salot, located to the east of Malagicka in the Scarred Wastland specializes in weapon creation. Anino, located deep within the tangled wood to the east of Salot, and built partially underground is the location of the defence base. Liwana, located to the east of Anino is the location of the government. Dagat, located south of Anino in the sea of a thousand currents on the tsunami flats and in the fish spine reef is the financial centre of Sornieth. Palay-Palay, located south of Salot and Dagat in the Windswept plateau specializes in the creation and building of vehicles and other means of transportations. Sunog, located to the east of Palay-Palay in the Ashfall Waste specializes in any and all metalworking and building just about anything. Kulog, a city very very close to the east of Sunog specializes in the creation of most general technologies. Niyebe, the southernmost city located on a perpetually snowy island in the Southern Icefield specializes in … For the sake of this RP, we will mostly only be in Malagicka. The government is made up primarily of Liwanian residents, but is run by The Council, an order made up of a male and female delegate from each city. They keep trade policies and most other laws consistent throughout Sornieth, however sometime they have been known to show favouritism. There is a false rumour floating around that they are trying to revive the dragons. The complete opposite is true however, they are trying to extinct them forever. [size=5]Technologies:[/size] Weapons: [indent]Dart gun — a very minuscule contraption, a dart gun can be added into many different everyday objects for protection, but it also comes in it’s raw form as just a thin tube. Darts sold separately. The darts themselves can either tranquilize, or kill, though the kill darts are not as easy to get ahold of and should be used sparingly. Laser — Known jokingly as the ‘tickle weapon’, lasers are only known to temporarily stun or annoy people. Not the most useful of contraptions. It looks like a small telescope. Plasma Gun — meant to mimic dragon fire, the plasma gun is a highly protected weapon that is incredibly hard to find. Either deadly or able to wound a dragon, these weapons are the only ancient technology that plague has been able to recreate. It runs of a small magical crystal shard whose power is magnified by scientific technologies in the clear dragon-glass barrel. Ray Gun -- Similar to the Plasma Gun in function, the ray gun is a general purpose weapon which can only cause so much damage. While the gun runs of magic, it does not have the concentrated magic crystal of the plasma gun, therefore making it weaker and lacking in strength. However, this weapon is much more compact in size, and easier to transport. Mechanized crossbow — Exactly as the name implies, this is a crossbow. It is metal. Feel free to customize it for ultimate usefulness. Magic Staff — these are rare and usually passed down through longneck families. These vary in sizes and shapes, but all have a magic infused crystal bound within them. Usually prized for healing, it can actually be very deadly for those who know how to use it. Static Conductor Gloves — gloves which have the ability to conduct and produce electricity, and use it to fire bolts at enemies. [/indent] Flying Machines [indent]Glider — a 1-2 person plane that needs to start off the ground to catch the wind in order to kickstart the propellers. Most useful in Palay-Palay. Not very agile. Phoenix — an extremely fast, motorized plane able to fit up to 8 people. It features 2 turbine engines underneath the stationary feathered wings. The motor is in the front under the dashboard and is actually quite small and mostly powered by magic. Not very agile. Spy Seeker — a spy plane that the Starseer’s guild has managed to hijack. The plane flies primarily from a front propellor, however, when entering spy mode, the propellor stops and the plane glides on it’s canvas wings. These wings are fully articulating and should the plane need to gain height without turning on the propellor, the wings can flap. Can seat up to 4 people, but it’s not very agile. Dragonfly — a small plane built for agile flight, the cabin space on this plane is very long, but low and the wings are large, but short and flexible. It has a low centre of gravity, making it able to make quick turns and fly in an out of buildings. It flies on three turbines, 1 under each wing and 1 in the tail. It seats 1 pilot and up to 2 passengers and takes extreme skill to be able to keep it up in the air. Swallowtail — a medium sized plane which can hold up to 8 passengers and requires 2 pilots. It is a round plane with a split tail which leaves room for the back to open up into a cargo hold. The cargo hold can also hold the passengers, but not both. Invented by the Guild for aerial drops, it is a dual propellor plane that surprisingly makes little noise while flying. The guild has 3 copper plated planes and 2 black planes. [/indent] Other Technologies [indent]Security Systems -- These vary from institution to private residence and can do antyhing from only set of an alarm, to releasing some form of a weapon. Scanners -- Another widely varied technology, scanners are used in many fields. Fingerprint scanners for security, body scanners for medical purposes, or Magical scanners for detecting people using dragon magic (amulets) among others. Air conditioning -- A very practical invention. Useful during summer or in stuffy underground caves. Mechanized Messenger -- A harness to apply to any species of crow where you can record a message and input coordinates to send a message. This is the fastet way to send a confidential message, though specially trained crows are best as they can better avoid predators and those intent on barring their way. [/indent] [size=7]The Starseer’s Guild[/size] The Starseer’s guild began when the Arcanist’s Amulet was activated, therefore activating all amulets in Sornieth. The guild is only made up of people descended from dragon lineage who can activate an amulet. It is more likely that people are chose than they found the guild itself as the secret is kept very tightly hidden away through the policy ‘If I tell you, then I’d have to kill you’, which so far seems to have worked. The guild’s main purpose is to protect the Arcanist, the Amulets and bring forth the 6th age, an age of coexistence between beastclans and dragons. On the side they keep the innocent people of Malagicka safe from general evil, but also from the government patrols. The guild headquarters are located in Malagicka on Spiral street and Nova street in a bakery/cafe. To enter, order anything, type the entry code 48453 into the payment machine and proceed into the back where you will find the lift (elevator). Open the maintenancee panel, press the down button and you are in. The HQ is located 2 stories below ground in ancient caverns once carved out by clans of dragons living in the observatory. Level one has the second elevator to get to the rest of the levels of HQ. Level 2 is sleeping quarters, the mess hall, the mission board and the meeting room, Level 3 is the training room and mechanical room outfitted with a tunnel that leads to the outside of the observatory mountain. Level 4 is the science lab and level 5 is the documentation room, Nabil’s unused quarters and the Arcanist. [size=5]Guild Ranks: [/size] These ranks are in no particular order, other than Leader and Second in Command which are above the rest, however everyone else is on a level playing field. The Librarian, Captain, and Scientist can have apprentices. The Leader: Is, well, the leader who is primarily in charge of guarding the Amulets and the Arcanist, as well as delegating who goes on each mission. [indent]Taken by: [/indent] The Librarian: In charge of documenting and collecting all information that comes in from the spies and other sources. Does not go on missions. A Scientist created Nabil’s staff, you can decide where it was your character, or their predecessor. Does not go on missions, is instead necessary to tend to any wounds inflicted on the missions, or by people fighting within the guild. The former is much less common. [indent]Taken by:[/indent] The Teacher: In charge of training new recruits [indent]Taken by:[/indent] The Agents: In charge of taking on special mission in order to ensure the progression of the guild, there are 4 ranks, each unlocking a new level of mission or responsibility. Amulet-less do not 'level up' to New recruit. [indent]Slot: Nadya Deresha Played by Midnightraven [Character Paused] Slot: etc…[/indent] Amulet-less: A new recruit who did not come to the guild with an amulet and was instead recruited, found or rescued by the guild and who then proceeded to stay with them. [indent]Slot: Jouko Wyntr Played by Quicksilvr Slot: etc...[/indent] [size=5]Amulets: [/size] The Arcanist changed every dragon into a beastclan member, but left them the ability to change back into a dragon through their amulets. However, to prevent all the dragons from immediately changing back, he locked the power within them only to be unlocked with the discovery and activation of his own amulet. Since the Arcanist’s amulet has been found, the amulets have been unlocked and anyone with dragon in their lineage is able to use their power, however the majority of people don’t know what they are and think they are just pretty necklaces. Once an amulet has bonded to a person, they can’t just lend the amulet to someone else and it will work only for them until death severs the connection. The amulets work telepathically and therefore can be controlled just by thoughts. The magic in the amulets is only active when the dragon form is taken. Amulets aren’t playthings either. Typically they will distort a user’s eye colour, and some side effects may include death. If someone stays in their dragon form for over 48 hours, they are stuck in that form forever. The god amulets work differently than the dragon amulets. The God amulets can be deadly when activated and their power should not be taken lightly. Other than the Arcanist’s Amulet, they can only be activated by a dragon, to prevent the gods from waking from their slumber too early when the 5th age is not yet over. Currently, the Arcanist is residing as a smaller version of himself within the Starseer head quarters. He is currently very weak as his power is spread out in all of the amulets, it is possible to apply to play the Arcanist. [size=5]Mission Board:[/size] These are the main missions that will carry the plot forward. Not everyone will go on every mission and some missions will be assigned to certain players based on their actions in the first mission, but some will be up for grabs. Blue means it is literally on the Mission board and free information within the guild. Red means it does not exist IC and you cannot act like your character knows it. Empty slots will be filled eventually, possibly by plot, or if people want to submit ideas! [color=#12027A]1. Warehouse Recovery — Reports have been circulating to the Guild that there is a stockpile of amulets in a scroll and book warehouse on the edge of town. The mission is to recover these amulets before they can be shipped out on the black market or handed over to their thugs. [/color][color=#7A0202] 2. Part 1) Information Extraction — A plane with K.L.R.I on it’s side has been circling the city for a few days now and people on the ground are asking probing questions. Someone’s got to find out what they know before they find HQ. Part 2) Lucky Leads — The Kellian Labs people have set up a base in Malagicka and they need to leave before something bad happens. The mission is to drive then out of the city, but somehow this seems like a trap. Part 3) Rescue Mission — We all know who, but not where. Presumably they have been taken to the research labs outside of Kulog. Find them before it is too late! 3. Finding Anino — No one knows where the Anino base really is, so it’s about time someone try to find it. The mission is supposed to only be to locate the base and it’s entrances. Do not engage under any circumstances. 4. Part 1)New Neighbours — A new market has opened up beside our building, but since Malagicka already has 2 markets and really has no need of a third, this seems awfully suspicious. The mission is to break in at night and see what’s really going on. Part 2) Protectors — This is not a mission. Stop reading the board and start fighting before these black market thugs can send the word of where our headquarters is to the government! 5. 6. Library Loot — Books have been censored by the government for too long, it’s time to get the originals back. The mission is to raid a government warehouse in Liwana 7. 8. 9. Immobilize Anino — In order to weaken the government, their police force must first be taken out. The mission is to destroy their base 10. Ruling Rumours — It’s an old rumour that the government was trying to wake an emperor. This really isn’t a rumour. The missions is to take out said Emperor before it crushes Malagicka and just assume they really didn’t know what they were doing. 11. Taking out the government — It’s time to fulfill what we have been trying to for years. It is time for us to stop the government’s control and to bring back the dragons. The mission is to neutralize the government’s control and take charge ourselves. [/color] [size=5]Guild Enemies:[/size] Anino Police — the main police force in charge of keeping the peace and enforcing the laws. They greatly despise the Starseer’s guild, thinking of them as lawless people intent on taking out the government. Half of which is true. They are based in Anino and are backed by the government. [indent]Ranks: Commander - Head of operations, the commander(s) run all of Anino and organizes all activities within the force Captain - Leads an individual party. Party - Comprised of 10 individuals between a few different roles, including the Captain [indent]Spy Assassin Scientist Medic [/indent][/indent] Kellian Labs and Research Institution — Well known for performing horrific experiments on bearers of the amulets, Kellian and his team of highly specialized scientists are constantly trying to capture anyone from the Starseer’s order. Word of mouth says the government also pays then each time they take out a Starseer’s member. They are based in the outskirts of Kulog. The Government Council — Quite simply they wish to eliminate the dragons. They won’t ever do anything themselves, however they pay quite generously those who will do their dirty work for them. Based in Liwana. Government propaganda is one of their greatest enemies as they are portrayed as blood thirsty beasts who won’t stop at anything to kill. Which may be only somewhat true The Scarlet Order — a group founded in the plague lands near the largest weapons factory in Salot. They are in the process of trying to redevelop lost technologies that their ancestors used to defeat the dragons the first time. On occasion they have been known to team up with K.L.R.I and this pairing has proven to be deadly. The Black Market — Not only does the market have their hands on way too many amulets, behind the scenes they have a wide variety of spys and assassins of their own to take out people who threaten their existence. Like the Starseer’s guild, they are against the government, but they are not trying to fight for freedom either. [size=5]Alternate Races: [/size] Dr. Lazruse is mostly responsible for the dominant races which exist which are not clear beastclan members, but still evolved enough to function in society. Dr. Lazruse was able to mix the evolved genes of a long neck with these creatures, speeding up the process of their evolution. In the beginning of his work, he focused on trying to give beastclan members the traits of these animals, however that caused to be problematic and he stuck to simply evolving them instead. We are not roleplaying as humans, we are roleplaying as evolved beastclan members so it is expected that your character not be ‘human’ but you can still refer to other characters as ‘people’ because I have no clue what else to use. -Dragon sizes do not matter. What size your dragon form is, depends greatly on what size your humanoid form is. Tall character is a fae? They won’t shrink, they will just be a larger Fae. Small character in an imperial? They don’t get that much larger when they shift, everyone is small now due to shapeshifting constraints and so as to not injure people when shifting, the size of the dragon originally no longer matters. -Someone can play the Arcanist. Just PM me a response (in his point of view (3rd or 1st person)) to the question: So…How many times have you caused the end of the world? -There is no long distance communication in Sornieth. Sorry, but no cellphone service. Use a crow.

The explosion that ripped apart the observatory was heard all across Sornieth as the dragons felt their forms changing. When they awoke to silence, they were not what they should be, with nothing to remind them of the force they had once been but a pendant shaped like their old form, clutched tightly in their hands.

Present Day
over 5000 years have gone by with no end in sight to the 5th age when the dragons will reign once more. The Beastclans have evolved into mostly humanoid creatures similar to those seen in the second age and massive towns have been developed. Most of the magic that once filled Sornieth is gone, contained in the amulets of the gods, just waiting to be released. The once stark borders between the elemental lands have begun to blend into each other and many species native to these lands have begun to spread out. The last of the pillar fragments have crumbled to dust and the pillar itself has almost disappeared off the face of the world. 11 cities have sprung up, each specializing in a certain aspect of their community.

Lupa, located in the northwest on the dry plains of Dragonhome specializes in providing raw building materials to the other cities. Kalikasan, located in the northeast in the lush forests of the Viridian Labyrinth specializes in providing a lot of food for the other cities. Malagicka, located to the west built up from the ruins of the Observatory in the Starfall Isles specializes in research and upkeep of history and schools. Salot, located to the east of Malagicka in the Scarred Wastland specializes in weapon creation. Anino, located deep within the tangled wood to the east of Salot, and built partially underground is the location of the defence base. Liwana, located to the east of Anino is the location of the government. Dagat, located south of Anino in the sea of a thousand currents on the tsunami flats and in the fish spine reef is the financial centre of Sornieth. Palay-Palay, located south of Salot and Dagat in the Windswept plateau specializes in the creation and building of vehicles and other means of transportations. Sunog, located to the east of Palay-Palay in the Ashfall Waste specializes in any and all metalworking and building just about anything. Kulog, a city very very close to the east of Sunog specializes in the creation of most general technologies. Niyebe, the southernmost city located on a perpetually snowy island in the Southern Icefield specializes in … For the sake of this RP, we will mostly only be in Malagicka.

The government is made up primarily of Liwanian residents, but is run by The Council, an order made up of a male and female delegate from each city. They keep trade policies and most other laws consistent throughout Sornieth, however sometime they have been known to show favouritism. There is a false rumour floating around that they are trying to revive the dragons. The complete opposite is true however, they are trying to extinct them forever.

Technologies:
Weapons:
Dart gun — a very minuscule contraption, a dart gun can be added into many different everyday objects for protection, but it also comes in it’s raw form as just a thin tube. Darts sold separately. The darts themselves can either tranquilize, or kill, though the kill darts are not as easy to get ahold of and should be used sparingly.

Laser — Known jokingly as the ‘tickle weapon’, lasers are only known to temporarily stun or annoy people. Not the most useful of contraptions. It looks like a small telescope.

Plasma Gun — meant to mimic dragon fire, the plasma gun is a highly protected weapon that is incredibly hard to find. Either deadly or able to wound a dragon, these weapons are the only ancient technology that plague has been able to recreate. It runs of a small magical crystal shard whose power is magnified by scientific technologies in the clear dragon-glass barrel.

Ray Gun -- Similar to the Plasma Gun in function, the ray gun is a general purpose weapon which can only cause so much damage. While the gun runs of magic, it does not have the concentrated magic crystal of the plasma gun, therefore making it weaker and lacking in strength. However, this weapon is much more compact in size, and easier to transport.

Mechanized crossbow — Exactly as the name implies, this is a crossbow. It is metal. Feel free to customize it for ultimate usefulness.

Magic Staff — these are rare and usually passed down through longneck families. These vary in sizes and shapes, but all have a magic infused crystal bound within them. Usually prized for healing, it can actually be very deadly for those who know how to use it.

Static Conductor Gloves — gloves which have the ability to conduct and produce electricity, and use it to fire bolts at enemies.

Flying Machines
Glider — a 1-2 person plane that needs to start off the ground to catch the wind in order to kickstart the propellers. Most useful in Palay-Palay. Not very agile.

Phoenix — an extremely fast, motorized plane able to fit up to 8 people. It features 2 turbine engines underneath the stationary feathered wings. The motor is in the front under the dashboard and is actually quite small and mostly powered by magic. Not very agile.

Spy Seeker — a spy plane that the Starseer’s guild has managed to hijack. The plane flies primarily from a front propellor, however, when entering spy mode, the propellor stops and the plane glides on it’s canvas wings. These wings are fully articulating and should the plane need to gain height without turning on the propellor, the wings can flap. Can seat up to 4 people, but it’s not very agile.

Dragonfly — a small plane built for agile flight, the cabin space on this plane is very long, but low and the wings are large, but short and flexible. It has a low centre of gravity, making it able to make quick turns and fly in an out of buildings. It flies on three turbines, 1 under each wing and 1 in the tail. It seats 1 pilot and up to 2 passengers and takes extreme skill to be able to keep it up in the air.

Swallowtail — a medium sized plane which can hold up to 8 passengers and requires 2 pilots. It is a round plane with a split tail which leaves room for the back to open up into a cargo hold. The cargo hold can also hold the passengers, but not both. Invented by the Guild for aerial drops, it is a dual propellor plane that surprisingly makes little noise while flying. The guild has 3 copper plated planes and 2 black planes.

Other Technologies
Security Systems -- These vary from institution to private residence and can do antyhing from only set of an alarm, to releasing some form of a weapon.

Scanners -- Another widely varied technology, scanners are used in many fields. Fingerprint scanners for security, body scanners for medical purposes, or Magical scanners for detecting people using dragon magic (amulets) among others.

Air conditioning -- A very practical invention. Useful during summer or in stuffy underground caves.

Mechanized Messenger -- A harness to apply to any species of crow where you can record a message and input coordinates to send a message. This is the fastet way to send a confidential message, though specially trained crows are best as they can better avoid predators and those intent on barring their way.


The Starseer’s Guild
The Starseer’s guild began when the Arcanist’s Amulet was activated, therefore activating all amulets in Sornieth. The guild is only made up of people descended from dragon lineage who can activate an amulet. It is more likely that people are chose than they found the guild itself as the secret is kept very tightly hidden away through the policy ‘If I tell you, then I’d have to kill you’, which so far seems to have worked. The guild’s main purpose is to protect the Arcanist, the Amulets and bring forth the 6th age, an age of coexistence between beastclans and dragons. On the side they keep the innocent people of Malagicka safe from general evil, but also from the government patrols.

The guild headquarters are located in Malagicka on Spiral street and Nova street in a bakery/cafe. To enter, order anything, type the entry code 48453 into the payment machine and proceed into the back where you will find the lift (elevator). Open the maintenancee panel, press the down button and you are in. The HQ is located 2 stories below ground in ancient caverns once carved out by clans of dragons living in the observatory. Level one has the second elevator to get to the rest of the levels of HQ. Level 2 is sleeping quarters, the mess hall, the mission board and the meeting room, Level 3 is the training room and mechanical room outfitted with a tunnel that leads to the outside of the observatory mountain. Level 4 is the science lab and level 5 is the documentation room, Nabil’s unused quarters and the Arcanist.

Guild Ranks:
These ranks are in no particular order, other than Leader and Second in Command which are above the rest, however everyone else is on a level playing field. The Librarian, Captain, and Scientist can have apprentices.

The Leader: Is, well, the leader who is primarily in charge of guarding the Amulets and the Arcanist, as well as delegating who goes on each mission.

Amulet-less: A new recruit who did not come to the guild with an amulet and was instead recruited, found or rescued by the guild and who then proceeded to stay with them.

Amulets:
The Arcanist changed every dragon into a beastclan member, but left them the ability to change back into a dragon through their amulets. However, to prevent all the dragons from immediately changing back, he locked the power within them only to be unlocked with the discovery and activation of his own amulet.

Since the Arcanist’s amulet has been found, the amulets have been unlocked and anyone with dragon in their lineage is able to use their power, however the majority of people don’t know what they are and think they are just pretty necklaces. Once an amulet has bonded to a person, they can’t just lend the amulet to someone else and it will work only for them until death severs the connection. The amulets work telepathically and therefore can be controlled just by thoughts. The magic in the amulets is only active when the dragon form is taken. Amulets aren’t playthings either. Typically they will distort a user’s eye colour, and some side effects may include death. If someone stays in their dragon form for over 48 hours, they are stuck in that form forever.

The god amulets work differently than the dragon amulets. The God amulets can be deadly when activated and their power should not be taken lightly. Other than the Arcanist’s Amulet, they can only be activated by a dragon, to prevent the gods from waking from their slumber too early when the 5th age is not yet over. Currently, the Arcanist is residing as a smaller version of himself within the Starseer head quarters. He is currently very weak as his power is spread out in all of the amulets, it is possible to apply to play the Arcanist.

Mission Board:
These are the main missions that will carry the plot forward. Not everyone will go on every mission and some missions will be assigned to certain players based on their actions in the first mission, but some will be up for grabs. Blue means it is literally on the Mission board and free information within the guild. Red means it does not exist IC and you cannot act like your character knows it. Empty slots will be filled eventually, possibly by plot, or if people want to submit ideas!
1. Warehouse Recovery — Reports have been circulating to the Guild that there is a stockpile of amulets in a scroll and book warehouse on the edge of town. The mission is to recover these amulets before they can be shipped out on the black market or handed over to their thugs.
2. Part 1) Information Extraction — A plane with K.L.R.I on it’s side has been circling the city for a few days now and people on the ground are asking probing questions. Someone’s got to find out what they know before they find HQ.
Part 2) Lucky Leads — The Kellian Labs people have set up a base in Malagicka and they need to leave before something bad happens. The mission is to drive then out of the city, but somehow this seems like a trap.
Part 3) Rescue Mission — We all know who, but not where. Presumably they have been taken to the research labs outside of Kulog. Find them before it is too late!
3. Finding Anino — No one knows where the Anino base really is, so it’s about time someone try to find it. The mission is supposed to only be to locate the base and it’s entrances. Do not engage under any circumstances.
4. Part 1)New Neighbours — A new market has opened up beside our building, but since Malagicka already has 2 markets and really has no need of a third, this seems awfully suspicious. The mission is to break in at night and see what’s really going on.
Part 2) Protectors — This is not a mission. Stop reading the board and start fighting before these black market thugs can send the word of where our headquarters is to the government!

6. Library Loot — Books have been censored by the government for too long, it’s time to get the originals back. The mission is to raid a government warehouse in Liwana

9. Immobilize Anino — In order to weaken the government, their police force must first be taken out. The mission is to destroy their base
10. Ruling Rumours — It’s an old rumour that the government was trying to wake an emperor. This really isn’t a rumour. The missions is to take out said Emperor before it crushes Malagicka and just assume they really didn’t know what they were doing.
11. Taking out the government — It’s time to fulfill what we have been trying to for years. It is time for us to stop the government’s control and to bring back the dragons. The mission is to neutralize the government’s control and take charge ourselves.


Guild Enemies:
Anino Police — the main police force in charge of keeping the peace and enforcing the laws. They greatly despise the Starseer’s guild, thinking of them as lawless people intent on taking out the government. Half of which is true. They are based in Anino and are backed by the government.

Commander - Head of operations, the commander(s) run all of Anino and organizes all activities within the force
Captain - Leads an individual party.
Party - Comprised of 10 individuals between a few different roles, including the Captain

Kellian Labs and Research Institution — Well known for performing horrific experiments on bearers of the amulets, Kellian and his team of highly specialized scientists are constantly trying to capture anyone from the Starseer’s order. Word of mouth says the government also pays then each time they take out a Starseer’s member. They are based in the outskirts of Kulog.

The Government Council — Quite simply they wish to eliminate the dragons. They won’t ever do anything themselves, however they pay quite generously those who will do their dirty work for them. Based in Liwana.

Government propaganda is one of their greatest enemies as they are portrayed as blood thirsty beasts who won’t stop at anything to kill. Which may be only somewhat true

The Scarlet Order — a group founded in the plague lands near the largest weapons factory in Salot. They are in the process of trying to redevelop lost technologies that their ancestors used to defeat the dragons the first time. On occasion they have been known to team up with K.L.R.I and this pairing has proven to be deadly.

The Black Market — Not only does the market have their hands on way too many amulets, behind the scenes they have a wide variety of spys and assassins of their own to take out people who threaten their existence. Like the Starseer’s guild, they are against the government, but they are not trying to fight for freedom either.

Alternate Races:
Dr. Lazruse is mostly responsible for the dominant races which exist which are not clear beastclan members, but still evolved enough to function in society. Dr. Lazruse was able to mix the evolved genes of a long neck with these creatures, speeding up the process of their evolution. In the beginning of his work, he focused on trying to give beastclan members the traits of these animals, however that caused to be problematic and he stuck to simply evolving them instead.

Lore Notes:
These are things that I didn’t know where to put in the above notes.
-Remember this is FR. We are not roleplaying as humans, we are roleplaying as evolved beastclan members so it is expected that your character not be ‘human’ but you can still refer to other characters as ‘people’ because I have no clue what else to use.
-Dragon sizes do not matter. What size your dragon form is, depends greatly on what size your humanoid form is. Tall character is a fae? They won’t shrink, they will just be a larger Fae. Small character in an imperial? They don’t get that much larger when they shift, everyone is small now due to shapeshifting constraints and so as to not injure people when shifting, the size of the dragon originally no longer matters.

He is similar to a satyr with the furry animalistic legs of his long neck ancestors. his hair carries down his neck and shoulders and back as a mane. [b] Amulet:[/b] Nabil’s amulet is a spiral knotted around a crescent moon made out of pink sapphire. The metal is slightly warm to the touch and pink in colour. In the centre section are five indentations inset with fingerprint scanners. Only Nabil’s fingerprints can activate the other 2 sections of the staff. The bottom section opens into a small shield with two taps of his index finger, and the top section opens into a long spearhead. Nabil does not believe in ranged weapons. [b] Strengths:[/b] He is physically much stronger than his human form. He can wind his way into small places that others may not be able to reach. When using his special power, his real body is completely helpless. Her skin is a medium shade of brown, slightly darker than a really good tan and she has these weird barred markings along her arms and legs in a more honey colour and eventually get so close together that her hands are that solid colour. She does not have hair and instead has a crest of brown and gold feathers which she can raise and lower at will. These feathers surround her ears which are like raptorik ears, also brown in colour but tipped in the gold. One of her eyes is brown with flecks of red in it, while the other is red with flecks of brown in it. To most people, this is really unnerving. She has a small pair of brown and gold wings, but she can’t do anything more than glide thanks to her corven linneage. If she can engulf something else in flames fully, she can teleport it, but doing this to someone else is taxing on her, even though she may not choose to show it. On more than one occasion, Senka has snuck into the science labs to outfit her bow with more odds and ends that she says will make it work better, but technology and her do not mix. The crossbow now has a laser, and would have: Automatic reloading if the arrows were attached to it, A power source from a crystal, if it needed a power source and automatic draw and fire, if that actually worked at all. In the mean time of wondering why her main crossbow doesn’t work, she just uses a regular bow. Before founding the guild 20 years ago, he was on course to be a teacher and because of this he knows a lot about history and science and all other necessary subjects, all kept in his impressive memory. Due to the fact that he can’t leave the guild headquarters any more, he is very resourceful with what he has available to him and he is always able to adapt to fit any situation. He loves to have people help him with his duties, as long as they talk so that they can both enjoy doing something which would normally be boring. Sometimes he can be a bit pushy though and doesn’t know when to draw the line.
Strengths: Nabil has incredibly fast reflexes and can react to any situation very fast. He is very good with strategy and figuring out anything that could go wrong. He has almost all the qualities of a leader and he is never afraid to take his leadership and use it to maintain order.
Weaknesses: Nabil is not physically strong by any means, he is lanky and has little muscle and instead must rely on his wits to win. He has not been out on a mission for a while since he claimed the title of leader and this has put him out of practice with his skills. He is well known and a target of the government and therefore cannot leave the headquarters, even for a walk.

Special Power: Nabil can send his dragon form anywhere he wishes it to go, through the shadows and send messages to agents through this talent. His physical form is not really transported, just an illusion, but he can see and hear everything that is going on. This is a really bad description, but I don’t know how to explain whats in my mind.
Amulet: Nabil’s amulet is a spiral knotted around a crescent moon made out of pink sapphire. The metal is slightly warm to the touch and pink in colour.
Weapon of Choice: A metal staff, about 5 feet long and an inch and a half thick and fragmented into three sections with more sections placed into the smooth pink metal. In the centre section are five indentations inset with fingerprint scanners. Only Nabil’s fingerprints can activate the other 2 sections of the staff. The bottom section opens into a small shield with two taps of his index finger, and the top section opens into a long spearhead. Nabil does not believe in ranged weapons.
Strengths: He is physically much stronger than his human form. He can wind his way into small places that others may not be able to reach. He can draw power from the Arcanist, being an Arcane dragon.
Weaknesses: Nabil is a very bad flyer, in fact he can barely fly at all, just short bursts. The spiralling pattern makes him sick. When using his special power, his real body is completely helpless. Lastly, he never sleeps in his dragon form, as he is nocturnal and tends to loose out on a lot of sleep due to his watch over the Arcanist.

How you found the guild: Nabil founded the guild after he discovered the Arcanist’s amulet in the cellar of his basement. Wanting to know more about it, he broke into a government library and accidentally activated the amulet, saving himself from the encroaching government agents in the process of unlocking all amulets in Sornieth.
History: Nabil came from a very large family with brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins to spare. He was one of the oldest of his generation and therefore learned very quickly how to keep the rest of his family in order when he had to look after them.

Other: On Nabil's last mission out in the field he sustained a grave injury to his right leg. A spear with a poison on the tip struck his quad and buried itself deep within his leg. For an entire year it looked like he would never be able to walk again, but slowly and surely, and with a little help of magic, Nabil was finally able to stand and put pressure on that leg. it still gives him trouble from time to time.

Description: Senka is fairly lean, though the fact that she is muscular is not always that obvious. In fact, she doesn’t have too many muscles at all, due to the fact that she rarely works on close ranged attacks. Her skin is a medium shade of brown, slightly darker than a really good tan and she has these weird barred markings along her arms and legs in a more honey colour and eventually get so close together that her hands are that solid colour. She does not have hair and instead has a crest of brown and gold feathers which she can raise and lower at will. These feathers surround her ears which are like raptorik ears, also brown in colour but tipped in the gold. One of her eyes is brown with flecks of red in it, while the other is red with flecks of brown in it. To most people, this is really unnerving. She has a small pair of brown and gold wings, but she can’t do anything more than glide thanks to her corven linneage. While her legs are very human, her feet are birdlike, which gives her and extra couple of inches to her minuscule 5”2’ height.

Typical Clothing: Senka does not care whatsoever what she wears and will normally just toss on whatever is on top of her pile of clothes. At least pretty much everything is some shade of red or purple or black, or colour coordination would not be her friend. When she does decide to wear some semblance of an outfit, Senka will put on a red tank top with the back cut out to accommodate her wings,
Personality: Very, very independent, Senka believes that she needs no one and will not stop at making sure that no one even tries to hep her. She is stubborn, obnoxious, short tempered and most people really don’t like her. Nabil has had to put her in her place more than once, but that has not stopped her from being snobby to people she knows and out right horrible to new people. She is known throughout the guild to leave her partners on missions and finish it herself. Should anyone in anyway acknowledge her height, that person may not be seen ever again as she is incredibly touchy about it. Sarcasm is her best friend.
Strengths: Her small stature makes her less of a target and faster on her feet. She has incredible stamina and can run for ages. Senka is excellent at hand to hand combat because she can dodge around her enemies a lot faster than they can move.
Weaknesses: Senka is way too overconfident in her abilities which tend to lead her to failing at missions. Senka is trying too hard to impress Scarlet and not using her impressive hand to hand skills to their full potential. She is instead trying to use a bow, something she is not very good at.
Relationships: Senka had three older brothers and basically considers herself an only child because of this. Her mother and father were almost never around and she learned to fend for herself very quickly. She does not care what so ever that they were killed in the crossfire of a past mission.
Occupation: She is quite regularly forced to cover “Bakery Duty” where she has to work up in the bakery. She despises this because she has to interact with other people.

Special Power: Speed Shifting. When Senka builds up enough speed she can change her fire’s colour to blue and wait for it to engulf her. When the flames have engulfed her completely, she can teleport and anything the flames are touching will teleport as well. The blue flame will does not injure. The speed part also only applies to teleporting herself. If she can engulf something else in flames fully, she can teleport it, but doing this to someone else is taxing on her, even though she may not choose to show it.
Amulet: Senka wears her amulet as an armband. The Wildclaw appears to be chasing it’s own tail on stepping stones of ruby around the circular form of the armband. The eye and fire are made of tiny mosaic sapphires, aqua aura quartz and lapis lazuli stones.
Weapon of Choice: Mechanized crossbow. On more than one occasion, Senka has snuck into the science labs to outfit her bow with more odds and ends that she says will make it work better, but technology and her do not mix. The crossbow now has a laser, and would have: Automatic reloading if the arrows were attached to it, A power source from a crystal, if it needed a power source and automatic draw and fire, if that actually worked at all. In the mean time of wondering why her main crossbow doesn’t work, she just uses a regular bow. Senka’s arrows are very basic but she fills the shaft with black market serthis potions for different needs. Red fletching means poisonous, Blue fletching means paralysis, Green fletching means explosive when touched by fire and White fletching means no potion. In her dragon form, the regular bow or the crossbow attach to her vest magnetically so she does not need to carry them.
Strengths: Senka is a talented flyer and she knows all the streets of Malagicka so well she can fly them in the dark. Physically, she is much stronger than in her regular form and able to do close combat fighting, something she would never attempt as her normal form.
Weaknesses: She can barely see in the dark, though she won’t readily admit that. When using her power, the momentum she had built up to teleport is carried over to her new location. For all she knows, if she misjudges a teleportation location, she could end up into side a wall, or something. Not an up point.
Relationships: Scarlet: Senka idolizes Scarlet, thinking her to be the most amazing person ever.
Lynn: Rivals. Lynn and Senka joined at similar times, however Lynn went up the ranks faster to eventually become captain, leaving a bitter Senka in the dust

How long you have been with the guild: 5 years
History: Senka was born in Salot, but very quickly her parents moved their family to Lupa. She grew up harvesting ores and the like, but greatly detested this and ended up running away to Malagicka when she was 23. The only upside to working in the ancient lands of Dragonhome was that she found her amulet there. Think it was just some pretty trinket she kept it for herself instead of giving it to her supervisor. At 24, she was caught by the guild trying to pawn off her amulet to the black market for quite a hefty sum. In the middle of the fight, her amulet suddenly activated itself making it very clear she was more than just some low runaway. She was taken back to the guild, sworn into duty and has been with them ever since, slowly climbing in rank and always trying to prove herself to Scarlet.

Description: Like a Centaur, he has six limbs, two arms, two legs, and a pair in between that could work as either depending on the situation. He is very muscular, and stocky, however still very light and nimble on his feet. While he has raw strength, he is largely untrained and is therefore very sloppy with any and all fighting. His eyes are a dark brown contrasted with his blue and tan hide. His mane and hooves are white with blue highlights and he has the tail of a horse.

Typical Clothing: He doesn’t really wear ‘clothing’ so much as white wraps and the traditional longneck sash. He binds his legs to make them stronger and his tail to keep stray hairs from getting in the way. When forced into wearing actual clothes, he will usually still skip on the top, but will wear pants which come all the way down to his hooves.
Personality: On the outside, Jouko is a well mannered teenager, but inside, he is sneaky and downright evil. He is fast thinking, manipulative and enjoys pulling the wool over peoples eyes, deceiving them before stabbing them in the back. He tries his hardest to act very pleasant around Nabil, but once he's out of the room, sarcasm galore comes out. He prefers fighting with words rather than a weapon.
Strengths: His four arms give him extra strength when it comes to fighting and he can manipulate up to four blades at a time. His fast thinking can get him out of close calls. He is extremely fast at running, no one else (other than a dragon) would be able to catch up to him.
Weaknesses: He is a two faced liar and sooner or later, that's going to surface. He rarely ever holds his tongue, and within the guild where tensions are usually quite hight between people, that's really bad.

Description: Scarlet has a lithe build and pale skin. She has long, surprisingly muscular legs and stands at around 5"5. She has long, night black hair that falls to the small of her back, usually woven into a complex braid. Her eyes are a steely grayish-white from her amulet's influence. Her ears are slightly pointed, from her Serthis lineage, although it is hardly noticeable if one is not looking. Small, silvery scales can found on her back, stomach, inner forearms, and under her eyes. Her teeth taper to a sharp point, and many members of the guild,musically new ones, find her smile unnerving.
Typical Clothing: Scarlet prefers black, or some shade of it. She is usually seen sporting a sleeveless shirt, leggings, and a white sash slung around her hips.
Personality: Scarlet comes off as cold a first glance, and indeed she is. She doesn't tolerate failure by anyone, whether it be Nabil himself or a new recruit. Scarlet is very strict, and likes to keep things neat and organized. She has a sharp mind, and loves a good challenge. Scarlet prefers to keep to herself, and rarely speaks unless spoken too. She is wary around strangers, and her trust is earned, not given. Scarlet doesn't panic when things go wrong, and can be counted on to have a backup plan. To those few whom she calls friends, Scarlet can be quite kind, although there is always a hint of coldness in her words. If you value your tongue, you should never, ever call Scarlet 'Scar'. Ever. Since she is Librarian, Scarlet has a vast knowledge of just about anything you could possibly want to know. When she is not dealing with the spies or ensuring everything is catalogued, she can be found in some far off corner of the guild halls, reading a book.
Strengths: Scarlet has very good tolerance to the cold. She rarely complains when things get chilly, and rarely does she ever come down with hypothermia or a bad case of frostbite. Scarlet has an amazing memory, and a sharp mind to match. She doesn't forget anything, down to the smallest detail. She enjoys puzzles, and as such has begun to consider herself a codebreaker of sorts. Albeit not a very good one, but she certainly has the brains to, if she truly wished to be.
Weaknesses: Scarlet hates heat. With a passion. Even being out in the sun too long on a hot day can drive her mad. She is so used to the silence of the library that she has grown to dislike the company of others. Scarlet prefers to be alone, and work alone. Scarlet also has a tendency to withhold important information until the last minute. She apparently finds it amusing, although other members of the guild will certainly say otherwise. Her aim is still sharp, although it is not what it used from all her time spent without any missions in the field.
Residence: Although she rarely visits, Scarlet has a small home in Niyebe, located in a cliffside cave. It is actually quite nice, you know, for a cave.

Special Power: Scarlet can freeze things with a touch of her claws/teeth, or in cases of extreme concentration, with her mind. Once frozen, the object or being cannot be unfrozen by any means, save for an immense amount of heat. This method often leads to harsh burns, and if the victim is frozen for long periods of time, this may also lead to severe frostbite. Scarlet herself can of course unfreeze said victim at will. Despite years of practice, she is not yet capable of freezing an entire human/beastclan member.
Amulet: Scarlet's amulet is a Wildclaw perched atop a shard of pure black onyx. The eyes of the Wildclaw are carved of white quartz, and they radiate a faint white glow. It is very cold to the touch.
Weapon of Choice: A Mechanized crossbow, with bolts that either cover the target area in a thin yet effective layer of ice, or make the target extremely cold. Life threateningly cold. Scarlet's aim is a thing of mystery, seeing as few have actually seen her wild the crossbow. Those that have say it is a sight to behold. Scarlet goes have wonderful aim, as she was raised in a place where you could not depend on eyesight, seeing as on Niyebe it is almost always snowing. Anything that moves is fair game for her.
Strengths: Scarlet has amazing stamina. She can run long distances without tiring, and has great strength in her hind legs, making her capable of jumping very far and very high.
Weaknesses: She is not the best flier, and prefers running to it any day. Scarlet's wings are not very muscular, so even if she want to, she would be incapable of flying long distances. They are great for gliding short distances, however.

How you found the guild: When she first purchased her cliffside residence, Scarlet found her amulet on a shelf carved into the back of the cave. She then eventually met Nabil on her quest for knowledge, and has been with the guild every since.

She has long, curly black hair, which she often keeps in a pony tail and with color beads decorating the hair tie. Her face is oval shape and face seems to show kindness. When it comes to features, Lynn has quiet usual ones. She has long ears that of a centaur, along with a black horse tail, and green scales that start at her upper back, below her shoulders and follow along the spine of her back, spreading out near her tail bone. She also has scales that are on the rounds bumps of her shoulders, elbows, hips, and ankles. Lynn also has a few scales that rely on the bridge of her nose.
Typical Clothing: Lynn normally dresses in jeans, a t-shirt, and thick black boots as she often gets dirty on her job. Though when a time arises, Lynn will dress up and put even makeup on along with her dresses and fancy wedge heels.
Personality: Lynn is shy upon your first meeting of her, but she can quickly open up and become very talkative. If fact once she starts, she rarely stops. Lynn is quick-witted and can think on her feet, especially in dire situations. She is more of a face person, than with names and usually uses a different name for a particular object or destination. As you can tell, this aggravates people on some levels, especially her subordinates. However, once she remembers your name and your face, she never forgets it. Lynn is realist about life and doesn't sugar coat things for your hurt feelings. Though she will always try to tell you in the best way, you just probably won't like her answer. Lynn is strict with her workers, and is known to be very decisive. She not afraid to fire you on the spot. On the bright spot, Lynn is easy to get along with and her charisma charms almost anyway. But, everyone know and then, one of her dark jokes with offend someone, which she apologizes for immediately. One weird thing Lynn does, is she will occasionally let out a neigh when happy and a hiss when she is angry. She has no control over this and gets embarrassed when she does it.
Strengths: Lynn has a amazing immune system and can fight off most disease like they are mere colds. This is another clue to her plague linage. She great with machines and other systems of technology. It only takes her a few minutes to create a toaster from scratch and a couple of hours to repair a ship. Guild members are amazed by her tech and like to watch her build. Lynn has incredible strength that was given to her thanks to her Centuar linage. She can lift a couple times her weight and can carry or throw 100 pound machine with ease.
Weaknesses: Even though Lynn has great strength, she lacks speed and stamina. As she gets tired after a couple of hours of a battle and needs to hide so she can caught her breath. Lynn normally has a bad memory with things she doesn't do lot. If you give her a number, or name to remember, and unless she uses on a daily basis, she forgets it a couple of hours later. This is one of the reasons she writes almost everything down, especially mission details. Sometimes the female is easily distracted and she can't multi-task. She has to focus on one thing and one thing only, otherwise she forgets to do something important.
Residence: A modest house, in the outer city of Dagat, in the Windswept Plateau. That ways Lynn can get materials/around when she needs it, whilst still being partially in nature and way from smog.

Special Power: Lynn is a of the plague and as such has the ability fight off the worst infections and has great endurance. This isn't so much of a power, but can help during times of torture or if she is poisoned. Lynn can eat poisonous and help them in her mouth for long periods, and spit them out at enemies as well.
Amulet: Lynn's amulet is a gaudy piece of jewelry, where a large Garnet in the shape of a upside down trapezoid, surrounded by small diamond that follow it's shape. The gem itself is two inches long and has a silver chain that is an inch in length, connecting it. The chain connects at the top of the jewel, and has a thin width, that gradually decreases at it gets closer to the hooking clips. [ Reference for jewel ] [ Reference for chain ]
Weapon of Choice: Because Lynn's strength is her best quality as a fighter, special iron gallants, with silver bronze knuckles, as her weapon of choice. They fit like gloves and give her punch extra force, that sometimes cause it enemies to faultier or stagger.
Strengths: Lynn's size doesn't increase by much when she transforms into her dragon form, but defiantly helps with her speed. Lynn becomes quicker in this form, thanks to the spirals slim body and light weight. Lynn also is a great flyer in this form and can maneuver threw the air with ease, much like how she drives her ships.
Weaknesses: The Spiral breed is known for its flaw to fall asleep randomly. To prevent this Lynn injects herself with special medicine to keep her awake. Unfortunately, the medicine is hard to come by and so she uses it sparingly. It isn't unusual for her to fall already while in flight, or when fighting. As you can imagine, Lynn only uses the medicine when it is of upmost importance, like missions for the guild.

How you found the guild: Lynn was working in a ship factory when she just moved to the Windswept Plateau and received a visit from her mother. Lynn's mother took her to a shop to buy her a piece of jewelry and that's when Lynn noticed the amulet. She was drawn to it and her mother bought it for her. When Lynn put it on in her house, in secret she discovered what she was.

She then started to try to find clues on the guild and then met their leader. Once she showed him her gift, she was let into the guild. With her experience in machines, specifically ships, Lynn became a Captain.
How long you have been with the guild: About 5 years.

History: Lynn was born to an mixed family, in a house in Salot, with two parents of different Beast clans. He mother was a Centuar and her father was a Serthis. The union was frowned upon by both families and so both parents were cut of from their clans. Lynn's parents still made sure their daughters knew both cultures and didn't let their daughters be afraid of being different. Lynn however, still experienced bullying by others, but didn't let that mess with her confidence.

Lynn always tried to make friends, be respectful, and live her dream of working with machines. After she finished her schooling, her father was killed by his Serthis breathern while trying to protect their family. Lynn's mother, sister, and her moved to another house in the plague for their safety. Both Lynn and sister then move themselves to further their careers. When she was 17, she moved into the Windswept Plateau then, to work in a local ship factory and soon fond out about they guild 3 years later, when she received her necklace. At 20 she joined the guild, whist still working in her other job, and the rest is history.

- Lynn likes to make sure her guild members are safe and when they eat dinner together, Lynn tries everyone's food and make sure none of it has poison.
- Lynn is actually a light sleeper, unless she is in her dragon form. Someone walking down a hall or turning on a light, rooms away, wakes her up. So she sleeps with ear plugs sometimes.

Description: Almost short at 5’ 8”, but looking larger than that with his sturdy build, Attilas can at times be a little intimidating. His face is harshly featured but smooth and as-of-yet unscarred. His skin is tan, marked with a darker, sort of greyish color on his upper arms and back. Attilas’s hair is long and the same slate-grey, fading to a light blue near the end, and usually tied back in a ponytail. Personality: Attilas is pleasant and polite to everyone around him, even during a fight, even when dealing with an agitated customer in the bakery the Guild uses as a cover. Even to the others of the Guild, whom he’s been around for a couple of years now, he remains businesslike and almost distant. He has a sense of humor though, laughing when others make jokes and sometimes showing a bit of sarcasm himself. Attilas genuinely cares about the people he works with, even though he doesn’t show it, and will willingly put himself in danger to help one of them. After doing so he’ll brush himself off and cooly say it was nothing. About the only thing he openly shows passion for is history, which he’s loved since he was a child. The Fourth Age, when dragons ruled, has always especially interested him and now he thinks he knows why.
Strengths: With his amiable personality, Attilas doesn’t often make enemies. That being said, he doesn’t often make friends, either. With his build, he isn’t too easily knocked-off balance and can be stronger than he looks.
Weaknesses: His reservedness, while an asset in a fight, often comes off as aloofness and frustrates those trying to get close to him. He is also not the most highly educated, having come from a poor family. This will reflect in his knowledge on subjects and his worldview as well. His tail is a weak point as it can easily be stepped on, pulled, or injured. It’s not very useful in any sense, either.

Special Power: Attilas uses his power over earth when using his slingshot to improve his aim and make the rocks he fires hit harder. When fighting in hand-to-hand combat, Attilas can encase his hand in the stones he carries for his slingshot to augment his punches, or form them over one arm for use as a shield.
Amulet: A bronze imperial wrapped around a circular piece of brown jasper. It is depicted as if it’s eating its own tail like an ouroboros, one wing stretched over the stone it encompasses. Though the imperial used to have two antlers, one of them was bent and then broken off with time and age. When Attilas found it, it was hung on a chain of silver, but during his time living outside of civilization the chain broke often enough that he eventually replaced it with a leather cord. (I have a sketch of it which I might work on uploading)
Weapon of Choice: Slingshot. This is his preferred weapon, as it works well with his powers and is mostly nonlethal. He is also well-trained in hand-to-hand fighting and will use this when dealing with close-range enemies. Attilas isn’t very good at using bows or mechanized crossbows, as he never had an interest in improving his skills with them. He is proficient at wielding a spear, but this doesn’t come up much.
Strengths: Attilas is a phenomenal long-distance flyer, and being a traditionally large dragon breed has its perks.
Weaknesses: He’s terribly unmaneuverable when flying and his size means he doesn’t fit into buildings very well. Also his legs are short.

Relationships: He has an old friend named Kyle who lives in Malagicka. When Attilas needs someone outside the Guild to talk to, he often visits him. Kyle also cares for Saya when Attilas is on long missions.
How you found the guild: Attilas had recently come to Malagicka and was searching for the Guild one night when he was mugged. A guildmember came in to save him but he was already holding his own. After the mugger was subdued he and the guildmember started talking and it was decided that Attilas would join the Guild.
How long you have been with the guild: 2 years

History: Attilas was born in Anino, and in such a city focused on defense he learned to fight. Given his mixed lineage, he is shunned in some places, but it isn’t exactly visible, so he gets by. After joining the guard for the pay he travelled around Sornieth for several years and actually found his amulet after confiscating it (unactivated) from a thief. He kept the trinket instead of giving it to his superiors because he liked the dragon design it had. Attilas carried the amulet around for a few more years when, in a fight, it activated. Shocked and, admittedly, a little scared, he went on the run. He spent a lot of time in the wilds of Sornieth (here is also where he learned to use spears and slingshots), growing more accustomed to his dragon form and trying to work out if there were others. An old friend of his tipped Attilas off to the existence of the Guild, and he travelled to Malagicka to see if the rumor was true.

Personality: Nahbi has a rather crude personality. He is quick to anger and slow to calm down, his grudges tend to not fade away but actually fester and become worse. He is alarmingly prideful of his work, but it is not a baseless arrogance, all that he does is done well and efficiently, as long as he doesn’t have to do it with other people. Of course, it not his fault that he doesn’t get along with others but it’s the fault of society making weak willed people that can’t take even a tiny insult (though his insult are not tiny, they usually cut deep and harshly). He seems to perpetuate an angry aura, with a constant snarl on his face, but that is usually due to him thinking about his most recent experiment with deep concentration, or it could just be because he was pulled away from said experiment to speak with the lesser minded.
Strengths: Nahbi is alarmingly smart, his quick wit can make him snarky and quick with comebacks. It also makes it easy for him to solve difficult problems and create odd chemicals. If he becomes loyal to someone and trusts them, he will have no problem going as far as killing for them or even horribly injuring himself for that person (he would never die for another, he finds the entire notion of that insane). After he invents something of merit he is quick to show it off, creating as many duplicates of the item as possible to give to fellow members.
Weaknesses: He is arrogant and looks down on any dragon who is intellectually inferior to himself, causing constant conflicts between himself and others, leading to a rather isolated lifestyle. He will never admit to being wrong, if he is wrong he will go to the ends of the earth to prove in some way that he is correct, if you call him out on being wrong, he will probably poison your food. Nahbi also has a dreadfully short temper (to match his short stature) and will take out his anger on anyone that is close to him. The only thing that even vaguely calms him down is his experiments, which tend to be on the dangerous side of things.

Special Power: Nahbi is immune to all poisons and diseases (this is partly inherited from his Maren ancestry but enhanced through his power). He also can turn anything he touches acidic or basic in nature, allowing him to create extreme poisons and control the potency of any chemical he has on hand.
Amulet: Nahbi’s amulet is in the form of an earring on his left ear. The metal around it is golden and not well taken care of, the gem itself is a simple opal that’s beautiful swirling colors is lost on the near color-blind Nahbi.
Weapon of Choice: Poisons. Nahbi carries with him multiple syringes all holding a variety of toxins that can paralysis, torture, and even kill. He also has a few bombs with airborne diseases in them, of course he tries not to use them simply because after the use the area in which used becomes unuseable for a long stretch of time.
Strengths: Since he is smaller than most, as a dragon he has an easier time finding places to hide and sneak about. This along with an enhanced sense of smell and touch allows him to get to find places that others normally would over look and never notice (Such as hidden caverns and hollow undergrounds). This form also allows him to more easily find rare plants.
Weaknesses: While in dragon form his eyesight seems to worsen and he becomes completely blind. He is still able to get around with his sense of smell, but his movements tend to be slow and cautious. He also refuses to fly, for fear of being unable to feel the dirt underneath his feet and the possibility of losing his sense of direction.
Relationships: Most of his relations with others are bad. He just tends to rub people the wrong way. His blood relation family all died mysterious deaths and some have their suspicions that Nahbi had killed them with undetectable poisons, and he refuses to confirm or deny the rumor. In reality he likes how it helps to keep people distanced away from him.

Description: Nadya is short with a slender build, with some muscle definition. Her skin is a dark tan color, and she has long, black hair that comes down to around her shoulders. Her facial features have a lot of definition and she has a sharp jawline and cheekbones. Her eyes are purple through distortion. There are small tufts of black feathers on her hands, feet, back, and neck, and her fingernails are sharper and pointed. There are still some feathers that resemble flight feathers on her arms, but there's no way she could use them for any practical purpose.
Typical Clothing: Nadya wears a dark purple tank top and black, loose-fitting pants. She wears a quiver of sorts that holds arrows for her crossbow over her back.
Personality: Nadya is impulsive and doesn't think things through before she does them. She's stubborn and doesn't follow orders very easily. She doesn't forget an insult easily either. Nadya also is quick to ignite, and gets angry if someone throws an insult at her. Her emotions tend to dominate over her logic.

She holds personal relationships very close to her and is fiercely protective. She reacts quickly to situations and rarely breaks down.
Strengths: Nadya is intelligent and can make decisions on the fly. She can tolerate pain and handle tough situations well and doesn't fall apart under stress easily. She's also skilled with her crossbow, since she's been working with it for a while.
Weaknesses: Nadya overlooks details in her plans and as a result winds up in many risky situations. She also is dominated by her own emotions and her relationships are almost too important to her. She also is horrible at hand-to-hand combat and can easily be overpowered the second her crossbow gets knocked out of her hands.

Amulet: Nadya's amulet is a Pearlcatcher in flight, with thorns around the edges of the amulet. The Pearlcatcher itself is made out of jet and the eyes are amethyst.
Weapon of Choice: Mechanized crossbow. Nadya's is older and made of metal, and the mechanical aspects of it are prone to failing. The bowstring itself is fraying. Her arrows are made out of wood with steel tips.
Strengths: Nadya has exceptional night vision, and in her dragon form she can cast magic fairly easily.
Weaknesses: She's incredibly inexperienced with her magic and using it is physically tiring. Nadya is also a poor physical fighter with almost no skill in close combat.

Typical Clothing: Shadow prefers very dark purple and any shade of black, to match her dragon's colours
Personality: Before understanding her, truly, Shadow seems very reserved and only speaks if needed. She also seems snappy and usually blows up at any one who disagrees with her, but underneath, she's actually very trustworthy with anything and she can somehow understand anyone's situation, but it doesn't mean she feels for it. Shadow is always the listening kind, which can be very handy when you're the type who just likes to talk and talk and talk. If she's in the lead, Shadow tries her best to make the right decisions and always thinks things through. If she told the others to do this, she would make sure consequeneces are no low are none at all.
Strengths: When secrets are revealed to her, Shadow tries her best to make sure it remains a secret. Shadow is the one to talk to whenever something just goes the wrong way in life or something just refuses to do something. She's also very handy for missions that don't include light, as unlike most people, she isn't afraid of the dark.
Weaknesses: Her temper outside doesn't find her many others who trust her and she trusts others only if she knows you do things for a good reason.

Description: Dr. Kellian is a tall and super skinny raptorik, his coat faded to a dull grey after years of science experiments. He has a bunch of thin grey hairs, and little to no muscle in any of his limbs. He is also slow, usually pushing this off as he was taking his time but the answer really being he is too old for this stuff. His eyes are a bright yellow with tints of green to them. He has a pair of fully functional wings from his purebred line of ancestors, and tends to fly rather than walk, claiming he has arthritis in his leg, though the reality is Nabil wanted to get even for what he did to his leg.
Typical Clothing:White Shirt and black dress pants, covered with a white lab coat embroidered with the symbol of the labs, as is the dress code.
Personality:
Strengths: His smarts. Dr. Kellian is incredibly smart, just like his father and grandfather before him. He fights with science not weapons. He is surrounded by safety measures. For a regular old research institution, Kellian Labs has quite a few safety precautions in place that help to guard the staff, and their prisoners from outside intrusions.
Weaknesses: Dr. Kellian is just plain weak. He has no strength to fight anymore after two many duels in his younger days. He will quite frequently over estimate himself and the success of his projects. If he thinks it's going to work, it probably won't.
Relationships: Dr Kellian has a mate and two kids, but their whereabouts are kept very secret.

It is rumored that Kellian himself has an amulet, though no one has ever attempted to find the truth.

This method often leads to harsh burns, and if the victim is frozen for long periods of time, this may also lead to severe frostbite. Scarlet herself can of course unfreeze said victim at will. Scarlet's aim is a thing of mystery, seeing as few have actually seen her wild the crossbow. Those that have say it is a sight to behold. Scarlet goes have wonderful aim, as she was raised in a place where you could not depend on eyesight, seeing as on Niyebe it is almost always snowing. Anything that moves is fair game for her. Name: Scarlet Avalon (Known as Scar to close friends. Which is practically no one.)

Sex: Female
Description: Scarlet has a lithe build and pale skin. She has long, surprisingly muscular legs and stands at around 5"5. She has long, night black hair that falls to the small of her back, usually woven into a complex braid. Her eyes are a steely grayish-white from her amulet's influence. Her ears are slightly pointed, from her Serthis lineage, although it is hardly noticeable if one is not looking. Small, silvery scales can found on her back, stomach, inner forearms, and under her eyes. Her teeth taper to a sharp point, and many members of the guild,musically new ones, find her smile unnerving.
Typical Clothing: Scarlet prefers black, or some shade of it. She is usually seen sporting a sleeveless shirt, leggings, and a white sash slung around her hips.
Personality: Scarlet comes off as cold a first glance, and indeed she is. She doesn't tolerate failure by anyone, wether it be Nabil himself or a new recruit. Scarlet is very strict, and likes to keep things neat and organized. She has a sharp mind, and loves a good challenge. Scarlet prefers to keep to herself, and rarely speaks unless spoken too. She is wary around strangers, and her trust is earned, not given. Scarlet doesn't panic when things go wrong, and can be counted on to have a backup plan. To those few whom she calls friends, Scarlet can be quite kind, although there is always a hint of coldness in her words. If you value your tongue, you should never, ever call Scarlet 'Scar'. Ever. Since she is Librarian, Scarlet has a vast knowledge of just about anything you could possibly want to know. When she is not dealing with the spies or ensuring everything is catalogued, she can be found in some far off corner of the guild halls, reading a book.

I'm working on another character who I believe would make for an interesting relationship with Scarlet, relationship in the sense that she idolizes your character. Would that be alright with you?
