@FloatingInSpace - There are piles of rubble all over this landscape. Your dragon wanders over to one and starts to dig around in it. Underneath a layer of dirt and rocks your dragon uncovers some Immaculate tablets. Your dragon approaches one and decides to check out the inside. Something skitters across the floor when your dragon enters what is left of the structure. Ouch! This place is infested with Firebelly Scorpions. Its a good thing Sunfish packed some soothing healing potions. Tavi follows the group inside, using a few baubles to keep the area around him lit. As the last member of their group stumbles in he takes time to look around. The old buildings are mostly empty collapsed shells. "Dragons don't really build like this. Not on this scale anyway." He spoke to Sunfish, "is there any way the beasts might be involved...?" He trailed off when movement a ways away caught his eye.

Curiosity pulled him to where Iris had pulled several tablets from the rubble. "Lucky find," he said calmly, "I might have to see what I can find."

Fiore looked around, noticing that all the other dragons were separating from the group to go and explore. Although relucant to be alone, she didn't want to become known as a scaredy-dragon who couldnt even explore some old ruins, so after a reassuring nod from Sunfish, she wandered over to a crumbling structure.
She walked around the whole of her chosen structure, examining the foundations. It seemed to be the remains of a building, however it did not seem big enough to be a lair.
She stepped over strip of rock, which looked like it may have been an entrance to the building. She picked at the ground, turning over smaller, strangely shaped chunks of rock, shaped almost like creatures. At the back of the structure, there was another, larger chunk of rock. She walked up and inspected it; she found what seemed to be carvings printed along the bottom. There were the strange rock pieces here too, she observed. She picked up one of the pieces and turned it over in her claws. It was a statue, she realised. There were hundreds of these miniature statues all over the ground, most of them chipped, cracked, or worn away beyond recognition.
It suddenly occured to her that what she had found was a temple. The large chunk of rock with the engravings was the altar, and these statues were made in the likeness of whatever deities were worshipped here. Looking again at the outside of the structure, she wondered why she hadnt realised it sooner. Pillars surrounded the entrance in a typical temple style.
She smiled to herself. She was starting to finally find her feet here; although she was still very much nervous, the fear was laced with the adrenalin rush of discovering these ancient relics.
She looked around to see the other dragons staring in awe at what they had found, or eagerly picking through rubble, and decided that maybe this week wouldnt be so daunting after all.

@BrightShine - Sunfish felt bad that one of her guests had been injured, and on the first day! But Sheyrone handled it well and went off to inspect some rubble piles. [b]The Beastclans do have a presence in the Hewn CIty. But they seem to have moved in long after it was built. We will have to keep our eye out for Centaurs and Longnecks. [/b] @rubesdragon - Sunfish was glad to see her guests beginning to explore the ruins. The Skydancer Fiore had found what was possibly an old temple and Sunfish wandered over to take a look herself. Most of the buildings that used to exist here have completely fallen down, but there are a few that still have some structure to them. Your dragon approaches one and decides to check out the inside. This structure seems to be empty. Nothing left but a dirty floor and the remains of some unfortunate critter. [b]Well, I am not sure what kind of things you are thinking of, but I heard that a few years ago a group of adolescent dragons had come to the Hewn CIty because they thought it was haunted and they had planned to stay up all night in one of the spookier areas of the ruins and they were never seen or heard from again. Some say the Shade got them, but I think its more likely they ran into some Beastclan.[/b]

Despite her excitement at finding the remains of the temple, there wasnt much to show for it. [b][Search 2][/b] As she stepped out of the crumbled ruins, a glimmer caught her eye. Looking over to the source of it, she noticed a pile of rubble near where Sunfish was standing. She arrived just as Sunfish had finished telling Sheyrone about the young dragons who went missing. Her eyes widened in fear. "I-is that true? W-will the same happen to u-us?" She looked at her guide, horror-stricken. Then she remembered the pile of rubble she had been about to investigate- by almost tripping over it. She squealed as she tripped, sending bits of rocks and dust skittering across the ground.
