While these flights often battle for dominance, they set aside those differences once a month to take part in a celebration of the elements, to share in the joy and bounty of the world they call home. Newcomers to Sornieth may feel overwhelmed by all this yet will feel that urge to collect every dragon in every gene that they can. The gold, however, is limited at first, and lair expansions will start to get expensive. How is one to choose what they spend their hard earned treasure on? Luckily here, you don't have to! Every month, this thread will host an Elemental Holiday Giveaway which will allow new players the chance to pick up new hatchlings without hurting their wallet. I will do my best to have nests ready every month, and I will try to have Ancients available, but it will depend on the breeding cooldown. Veteran players will also have a chance to adopt hatchlings. This monthly Giveaway is intended to help welcome new players and celebrate the Elemental Holiday. I joined this site within its first year, and I’ll be honest: I disappeared a lot because life got in the way. I would check back every once in a while, but my interest always seemed to gravitate elsewhere. This last time, I was gone for at least four years though I came back at one point last year for a total of a month before dropping off again. I came back a couple months ago, and the site felt brand new with the amount of changes that had happened that I allowed myself to explore. It felt like being a new player again, and it reminded me that starting out is hard. I always loved breeding hatchlings, and I finally was able to afford my fifth nest since coming back. For me, this Giveaway will be a way to give back to a community I’ve always adored even if I wasn’t always there. Let me know! I’ll nest them again and ping you to let you pick one hatchling to take home. The rest will go to the AH.
