Hilarouka was very glad when the invitation arrived, as it was a perfect excuse for a break from her warrior training. It's not that she doesn't put effort into it or doesn't value the mission of the Vitali side of her family, it's just that training sometimes gets in the way of the naps and relaxation she so much enjoys! She heard there are hot springs in the Sunbeam Grotto, and is content at the prospect of a nice soak, a good drink and a good chat, and so, she has arrived rather early.

Cixi is a bit apprehensive about the whole family reunion thing. She dislikes parties and gatherings, and she’s not particularly close to her family, so she hasn’t attended any previous reunions; this year, though, is different. This year, her companion-slash-coworker-slash-pain in the tail [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/69475171]Maddox[/url] [i]insisted[/i] that the two of them go together, and Cixi had caved, just this once.
The two arrive precisely on time, as is Cixi’s way. They glide down from the airship [i]Invincible[/i], with [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/67637887]Tornado[/url] calling after them to wish them a good time, and even before she alights on the grass Cixi is looking around at the dragons who’ve already arrived, searching for any familiar faces. So far, she doesn’t see any, so she shifts her focus to making sure her nerves don’t get the best of her and she appears as regal and calm as she does at home. She hopes, desperately, that this reunion will go well.

Aspen was caught off-guard by the invitation. She was still struggling to decide what to do with her life, where to settle down and what to make her calling... And now she was getting an invitation to a family reunion, of a family she didn't know she was a part of! She knew she carried quite the special legacy, with her parents being who they were... but to think their bloodline goes this far back? It was all a bit much, but... maybe one of these mysterious relatives would be able to help her discover her path in life?

A strange purple portal appeared near some shrubbery, seemingly out of nowhere. Out of it hurriedly stumbled out a rather fidgety imperial. Once he hit solid ground, the portal closed up, leaving no evidence of it ever being there.
Nova got up, brushing off the dust from her work clothes. Now that she thought of it, maybe he could've dressed up more elegantly for the occasion. Or prepared in advance instead of arriving at the last second. Letting out a quivering sigh, still feeling the effects of the adrenaline, she began searching her bag for the invitation.

She hurries across her room, which is far tidier than when Bastion first arrived, to get a good look. As she does, three little faces pop up from behind Tychi and Delphina is overjoyed to see them.

@Zeno123 The constant squawking and chirping of Harmony's bird friends draws plenty of attention, including that of a dragon she hasn't seen in a few moons!
[columns]"Harmony!" she hears, and turns to see her brother Bluestar. He's wearing a light layer of armor, polished to gleam for the occasion, and he puffs his chest out in pride when he sees her looking at it.
"I've begun to train for combat - nothing too high-caliber, not yet, but I'm learning the ropes pretty quick! How have you been? I see you've collected..." he tries to count the birds fluttering around her, but they're moving too quick and he loses count. "...a few new birds, huh?"

@Newtinmpls A disjointed ring of guests forms around the fortune-telling/dance plaza, but the first dragon to step forth is Sunbeam Grotto's own Sunshower. He dodges the squealing youngsters and approaches RealgarEcho.

And, she’d insisted upon dragging her poor cousin Raincloud and her husband Elyas with her. Camille tagged along to see her heritage, to better share with her children. At the last minute, Nova felt the need to grab Sharpfang and Alya to bring along, claiming that they needed to formally introduce themselves to Sunset because so many members of the clan are related to her.
The group left in the morning, and flew all day, arriving later in the afternoon. It was only when they had landed that they realized the two stowaways they’d unknowingly brought, Mystiek and Buddugoliaeth. They’d hidden themselves in a bag of snacks for the flight. How they weren’t discovered, we may never know… Laughing, they all shook their heads, and looked for familiar faces among the ever growing crowd.
