[marble/trail/trimmings] is the first set of genes that grew on him but later they change to marble/rosette/trimmings in his late stages of his regrowth. regrowth is when a male dragon gets his own family name and place to live and is stripped of his clan rights. he’s still stuck under his clans rule and eventually gets his trail coat back when he escapes the tyranny.

his familiar is a particularly large blue bird that follows him for his old clan which wasn’t the best suited one for him or the owl. the owl, now named myka, helped him escape the cult of a clan by opening the drawbridge with his beak acting as a lock and holding it for him enough to leave with tier.
[b]his mate:[/b] she really needs a mate because if she isn’t paired within the next year, when she finally turns 5 years ((this is based in the future lol)), she’ll be cast out into the cold dark world because dragons without mates are deemed unfit for life and only the fittest and ones with offspring may be provided for by the clans. ((this is with her old clan before she visits the one she’s in now)) so caivo steps up to the plate and offers to take her hand in marriage. not out of pity, he genuinely feels that he loves her.

[b]his offspring:[/b] they only bore one child. but we’re greatly smiled upon because of his unnatural eyes and his double colored scales. caivo names the child mire, after their first home where they found peace and oasis at.

[b]his job:[/b] he’s the clan’s main hunter. we used to only have huntresses until he came along. tier was our on and off hunter because she was secretly helping us come up and becoming a stronger clan so we could overthrow her old, very unjust & misogynist clan. which in the end we did, and the children and adults were converted to a better life with us with caivo’s help mainly because they knew him.

cai wasn’t brought up right. not saying he isn’t a good dragon, he really is, he’s the best guy i know. but, his old home, ahem... [i]our[/i] old home, wasn’t the best. not even in the range of good whatsoever. we didn’t know our parents. hell, we barely knew each other. males & females were not allowed to intermingle until the ripe old age of 3. so most of us by then were opposed to any interaction with the opposite gender because we were never taught not to be. our ‘house mothers’ were vague about anything having to do with people outside the fences of our clan. even the guys who were right across the pond from us, yet were still clan-involved. we were, hyper old fashioned to say the least.

@Lynz there’s nothing preventing you from trying for more dragons! You can try for as many as you’d like in as many rounds as you’d like :)
If you win a lot in previous rounds I may take that into consideration when picking winners, but overall you can definitely get new dragons in future rounds

As an egg he was found hidden in the cracks and crevices of the Wyrmwound very near the dangerous edges of that massive toxic lake. Found by a clan training hatchlings on identifying the local disease warped fauna, the egg was taken in for scientific purposes. He hatched out of the egg with little fanfare but much interest to the waiting clan around him. He was not like many of the hatchlings that had come before but he had the same eyes as the rest. "A mutant of some sort perhaps" came the grumbled comment from a dark-scaled Wildclaw. "We should see how he turns out. He seems healthy enough." Verdict given by the Clan leader, the hatchling was give the name of Contaminant, a name shared by a older dragon who had joined the Clan when they moved to the Plagued Lands.

I’ve got a few ideas for him right now but the one I like most would be that he’s a vector for diseases and parasites. The feared harbinger of plague, victims either are sentenced to a painful existence for the rest of their lives or succumb almost instantly to the microorganisms eating them inside out..

As for those who weren't pure of heart, well, put into simple terms: the world became a little more pure.
He travels with a kindred spirit (literally):

During the days, she spends her time (when not resting) exploring the deeper offshoots of the lair's caverns and trying to find just the perfect home for her and her future mate, whoever he may be. While she finds it hard to connect with dayside dragons as easily as they do among themselves, they are all very understanding with her as she keeps them all secure when their dreams take them away. :)
