"I name you. RoseThorn. You are colored as such, but not harmless. Let the gods grant you a good life here in our clan." Two other hatchlings gifted to the clan bound over. "Now there's three of us!" One squeaked. "Let's go play!" The two led the way, bouncing off into the caves of the Trapstone lair.

@Gryphon982 those are some lovely scries! You’re correct in assuming that you can try for multiple dragons but will only ever be able to receive one per round, thank you for bringing that up! I adjusted the rules to add that in :)

New round! The winners have been sent their dragons via crossroads! You will have around 48hr to collect them, or they will be relisted or sent to the next runner up.

I’ve updated the listings, and I plan on launching a permambab lotto soon- I’ve just yet to find the perfect dragon for it.

Despite his golden eyes he could not see where he was. His thoughts wandered aimlessly. He couldn’t think of his name. He couldn’t think of where he was at. All he could do is wait. He closed his eyes and rested where he was. He could feel the breeze against his scale hide as it ruffled the canopy above him. At least he thought it was a canopy. “Well hello there young one” the new voice startled him, he looked around but he couldn't see. He was trapped in a dark void. He didn’t want the voice to take advantage of him. His hearing and smelling abilities increased the more his adrenaline soared. He couldn’t see where he was going but he knows he was moving at decent pace through the dark empty space. He felt a change in terrain. It was dirt, just like the rest of the trail he previously ran through. But the dirt felt worn down, as if it’s an actual path. He heard other ‘things’ dash through the bushes. He was overwhelmed, he thought. He crouched down low, protecting his belly from anything that dares to come at him. He stayed still for a few moments until he heard the same voice again. “Why did you run away? We’re not going to hurt you!” The hatchling could sense the warmth again. “Who are you?” “Ah. My name is Will Solace. But.. you must be one of us.. you managed to pass through the barrier and not burn alive!” “You’re scaring him Will” “There’s going to be a lot more scary things.” The hatchling waited as he listened to them go to war at each other. These dragons are crazy, he thought. Seconds later he felt sick. He grasped a tree with his wing to prevent from falling over. A wave of Nausea hit him as his body heated up. “He’s being claimed..already?” “Must have been waiting a while, but usually he doesn’t claim his children cause he’s lazy.” “He’s not lazy Nico! He just... is busy sometimes” The hatchling couldn’t hear them. He heard a voice in his head. “Hello whelp. I see you’ve made your way to camp. I’m proud of you. You may not know me but I’m your father. My name is Apollo, God of the Sun, healing, and arts. Your name is Sol. It’s a great name for you. For you follow your feelings rather than your eyes. I quite admire you for this. Most mortals follow what looks the best and often that path isn’t a good one. Remember to follow the light in your life.” The hatchling opened his eyes and for the first time, he could see the light completely. Other dragons ran about through the camp. There were at least a dozen cabins lined up. Each having a symbol nailed to the walls. Hatchlings played with each other, dragons battle practiced with each other, and others sung together at a campfire. “Follow me Sol! You’re my brother so you’d be staying in the Apollo cabin with me and our others siblings!” “What about me?” The darker and scarier Wild Claw asked as his undead vulture preened the dragon’s feathers for him. “Ah, sorry Neeks” Nico nuzzled him kindly and then gave him a hard kick to his stomach and walked off with a smirk. “I’ll kill you later Will.” “Don’t mind him. Come along!” He got up, brushing his wings off and trotted into the chaos of camp. Sol hesitated but he decided this was his new home. [center] Sorry if it’s a bit confusing! Pretty much my lair is themed after the Percy Jackson Series and blah. Sol was blind before he met his father. His mother abandoned him dew his blindness. And yeah. I absolutely love the little guy. Thinking of just doing Skink and maybe spinner with his genes? Not too big of a fan of Honeydew as his tert but he’ll look handsome with or without it.
