Though many have overcome their peculiar anatomy by way of magic of machinery, strictly speaking, Snappers are landbound dragons. There is no small surprise in store for Leah when she comes to the window and comes eye to eye with not just a Snipsnap, but a diminutive one, stubby wings flapping intently as they gaze curiously at the lovely witch. There's a distinct wobble to the hatchling, and a quick glance down confirms that yes, they are standing on another dragon, more heavily dressed but hardly as dapper without a pumpkin hat. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=31444448] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/314445/31444448_350.png[/img] [/url] "Mocky says--" The Tundra takes an inadvertent tail slap to the face as Mockfruit leans in to Leah, something in their mouth. He heaves a sigh that turns into a squeak as his portly little brother hops further up. "--*owgods*--Mockfruit says--GAH--" Jumping is a mistake, or would be if it didn't just land the object in Leah's claws. Curio pancakes beneath the hatchling, wheezing as they continue hopping up and down on his spine. "...my DEAR. Brother. Says. Trick. Or. Treat. Stop. jUMPING ON ME--" With that, the two are off on a merry chase around the roots of the tree, merry being a subjective word determined by number of intact vertebrae of the given participant. They're having fun. Probably. The little package is carefully wrapped in orange flowers and green leaves, and the prickly vine ribbons fall away easily to reveal...a Nocturne-sized pumpkin hat. A second package flies up through the window, suddenly, this one filled with candied crickets, fresh-baked doughnuts, and a jar of dried sweet leaves for tea. [img]http://flightrising.com/images/cms/familiar/art/23283.png[/img] Skullduggery waves, giving a look that Leah takes for an Ichor Nymph's attempt at a cheeky smile, and traipses after the siblings. Leah notices a message on the more traditional paper wrapping of the bundle-- [quote]The Great Pumpkin smiles on you! Thank you for making October a little spookier, and remember--Halloween Is Forever! --The Stupid Horse Clan[/quote] It's hard to grasp just what it's all about, but one this is certain: This trick is a treat.

Her maw pulls back in a viscose smile at the Nocturne before her. With a sudden start she bows. "Delighted to make acquaintance", she coos, from her lowest point. The Nocturne behind her - wait, how did you miss them? They're not that small - rushes to follow the Skydancer's example, folding into itself with a much livelier, if less fluid motion. The Skydancer pulls herself up, looking Leah in the eyes. "Refer to me as Calla and all shall go well, biteling." [center]Several figures stepped into the light, perhaps a few more than Leah expected. Standing before her were a few mirrors, a fae, and an ominous looking pearlcatcher. There were a few more quieter "trick or treats" from the crowd but the pearlcatcher remained silent, sending out an unsettling aura. [b]"Exciting! Since you showed me your spooky, autumn, well-dressed self, here's a treat! I'm going to grab something I've got up here and toss it down, you better catch it."[/b] and with that, Leah tossed something to the group. The white mirror was the one who caught it. [b]"Thank you, it was nice meeting you!"[/b] She happily turned to the others to show them what they got. Leah cooed, "Such young friends, come come. I have gifts for you! But you...with the pail...best to pick it up to not wake the creatures of the night!" "I see the cards that follow you, friend. That's a neat little trick...it's a pleasure to meet you too." Unsettled by the glare from the dark guardian, Leah drops down a gift but pops her head back inside. I would very much like to come to your get-together later, do share where and when." Leah opens her claws and drops down some treats. Taking a long, understanding at Curio, Leah grins, "You are very sweet for taking this hatchling out and about. Patience suits you!" Looking back at Mockfruit Leah lets out a laugh, "Now now child, thank you very much for your sweet gifts! Trick or treat!" Leah places a few gifts in the child's large mouth, and drops a few down for Curio. "Stay safe and have fun! Thank you so much for visiting." Leah gives a wink at Skullduggery, and begins to open her gifts with her claws, very excited at receiving something herself! (thank you so much!!) [emoji=cat 3 size=1] @quietgal Leah takes in the bowing of the two witchy dragons before her, and gives a little bow herself, "You are very kind, and quite polite! And I quite admire your hats!" Leah gives them some treats with a big toothy smile. (all your dragons are awesome! You have great apparel taste) [emoji=deer skull size=1] @CristorcusHelix As the large mass of dragons approach her, Leah steps out onto the small balcony of her treehouse. She opens her wings to their full span, "Welcome friends! Be not afraid! Enjoy your treats!" As quickly as she tossed them down, Leah disappears back into her house. Large crowds weren't her thing. "Greetings," the first dragon said, dipping their head. "My name is Alruccabah and this is my mate, Nephelle. It is a pleasure to meet you." Nephelle dipped her head as well.

[i] "I highly doubt it." She trailed off,a soft huff leaving her nostrils as she grimaced a bit. "Halloween was so much more different when I was just a little one..It doesn't even seem scary anymore." She murmured to Leah in a tired,rather detached tone of voice as her tail swayed lowly and slowly behind her. She'd only quietly and calmly look at the newcomers without a word,a simple head tilt given at the most.[/i] [/center]

"but if it's a trick i'll take that back!"
