Hello,
can I be added to the general pinglist?
I'd love to adopt #41953934

Anyways... this is the beginning of some lore for him. (I'm going to name him Algon.. btw) It's nowhere near finished, and it's super raw, but it's fairly good background for him.
Alagon was born to a large family that lived in the twisting crescendo. His parents were kind and caring, but with so many children they could not give him much attention. To entertain himself, Alagon would make up stories about faraway lands and creatures. One day, when Alagon was still a hatchling, a strange leaf was blown into the lair. Something about it caught his attention. Alagon picked the leaf up and tucked it deep into his nest, where it couldn’t be blown away. Later, when his parents arrived, he asked about the leaf. They explained that the object was not a leaf, but a page out of a book. Alagon sat, intrigued, as his parents explained the purpose of books and the information they contained. As he fell asleep that night, he knew that he had to learn to read, in order to find out what his page said. The next morning, he went to one of his sisters for help. She gave him an old alphabet book and a few worksheets left over from when she was learning how to read. Before she left, she promised to help him after dinner that night.
Months went by, and Alagon’s life fell into a routine. He spent his days studying and making up stories and his evenings practicing with his sister. He moved from reading letters to sentences, paragraphs, and eventually, short books. Then one evening, his sister didn’t come home. He waited by the opening of the lair for his parents to come home. When they arrived, he leaped to his feet, asking them where she was. His mother smiled, “She’s been chosen to serve the Windsinger directly.” Alagon still knew little of exalting and he asked, “So then why didn’t she come home?” His father bent down, “We won’t be able to see her anymore. Her work is too special.” Noticing Algon sniffle, he continued, “It is a great honor to serve the Windsinger, son. One day, you might be fortunate enough to serve him too.” Algon frowned, “I don’t want to serve him, not if it means losing my family.” His mother tucked Algon under her wing. “I know what it’s like to have family be exalted. You’ll feel better soon. Some day, you’ll understand what an honor it is…”
Time went by and Algon watched as sibling after sibling went to serve the Windsinger. His parents couldn’t have been prouder, yet Algon could not stand to watch his family be swept away. An avid reader, Algon sought out books to escape from his life. His parents became concerned, as he spent far less time flying than other dragons his age, especially those of the windswept plain. They attempted to intervene, but he refused to listen, continuing to neglect his practice. One night, his parents decided to take matters into their own hands. While Algon slept, his parents raided his nest, scattering all his precious books and manuscripts into the wind. When he woke, Algon was furious. Everything he had loved, everything he had worked on, was gone. His parents attempted to calm him and explained their actions but Algon refused to listen. He packed the few objects he owned and, vowing to never speak to his parents again, flew headfirst into the wind.
(He ends up heading to Arcane, since he heard about the scholarly nature of the Arcanist, finding a clan, etc. I still need to write that part.)

Good characters are like geodes: To see their true beauty, you must break them.

For the hatchlings, stories of wonder and adventure. For the teenagers, horror stories of the shade and Emperors. For the adults that still cared to listen, he told them stories of heartbreak and love, loss and sacrifice. Without him, the clan would be a dull and boring place to be. One has to wonder, however, how his tales of Emperors are so detailed...

I'd love to adopt #41621955
Chikyu enjoys prowling the forest during the evening. His ombre green to red wings, and maroon scales camouflaging him. Past times including pouncing at his little familiar buddy, or scaring the poor Hatchlings with his spooky stories. A true prankster, loving to pick and peeve off the Adults, who payed him no mind most the time. However, a true lover at heart.

@Blazexfyre See above. They are referring to this dragon (which now appears to have an accent, but I don't remember being asked to remove it, so hopefully I have not messed up by leaving it up ;.;):
