Favorite Cartoon/Anime: Star Blazers (aka Space Battleship Yamato) which perhaps is an odd choice considering that we're talking about a series from the 1970s that was very heavily edited, but it still was the first cartoon/anime I had ever seen that was episodic and not just a series of stand-alone one shots.
