Daily reading: The fallout wiki! Always fun to do some wiki diving.
Daily question:
What's your favorite book written before 2000?
First one off the top of my head, I’d say Carnegie’s “how to make friends and influence people” book that I read when I was younger.

More time spent on AO3 again today, also some of the wikipedia entry for the Unicorn Tapestries.
What's your favourite book written before 2000?
I think all the books I've listed as some kind of favourite so far are from before the year 2000, but to put them all in one place, Lord of the Rings, early Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett, Agatha Christie's books... The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle? I'm really bad at picking favourites.

Today I was reading about the science being aurora phenomenon. It is perhaps unsurprisingly fairly complex, I was most shocked to find out the height that elements in the atmosphere get excited at change the colours seen from earth, not just which elements.

More Necropolis - though again not much, I've been really tired with the big storm rolling in, and I have to be up early!
Question: What's your favorite book written before 2000?
Good Omens! Though I could name a lot of older books that I've also read and greatly enjoyed.

What's your favorite book written before 2000?
Day of the Triffids by John John Wyndham! Frankly I do love all of his books and how he writes/develops science fiction... A special place is in my heart for him for introducing dystopian novels to me..

Did a bit of reading during RO, continuing on with Big Swiss!
What's your favorite book written before 2000?
Probably The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress (1966) by Robert A. Heinlein but this is a very hard question. So many of my favorites seem to have been written in late 60s or in the 70s so maybe I have a favorite era?
Daily reading:
I've been reading The Dwarves (I'm now about 300 pages into the story) and The Ancient Magus Bride vol. 5

Yesterday I bought two next volumes of the manga I mentioned previously. I read one of them and well-- Oh my. I'm not sure what to comment honestly. This was a huge emotional rollecoaster and I fear that if I say just about anything, it would be a spoiler :d
Question:
What's your favorite book written before 2000?
I'm... Not sure what year what book was written in... But I guess there is one old book that I do enjoy. Jurassic Park, original book was really cool, and I do have a copy of the old original one (ofc the one published in my country) and it's probably the most precious book I have. That said, one that I would for sure call my favourite and is even older would be 'Lalka' by Boles?aw Prus. It's a book I was scared of reading since it was 2-volume one, of which I heard a praise from a guy I respected a lot, and book that I didn't have much hopes for - since it was a school lecture and those usually suck ***. But- it was beautiful. The hard blue cover, the smell of pages still there even though it was old... It was-- oh god it was beautiful. The story too of course XD I loved it. Reading it was so much joy and I was honestly sad when I had to give back the books to library. I wanted to buy copies for myself but the blue cover seems to be old and hard to get now, and i know it's weird but I can't accept any 'newer' version of that. I just know that the story in those books, with that smell and that type of font/letter spacing is the whole experience that I loved. The story itself is one about love, and also one I hugely connected with. I still recall how I cried reading one of the later chapters;;
