I do have an option atm (coral/cream/maize), but he doesn't quite fit the green tone. I think I'll hold out until I can find a coral/cream/pistachio for a while but if one doesn't come up, then I'll use the one with maize instead. Whether by grief or something else, Maduin refuses to talk about her so most of what Espers, humans, and other folk alike know are mostly derived from legends and tales that may or may not have gotten distorted over time. Only Maduin knows the truth. Unlike the rest of his partners, Madeline wasn't a consort. [columns][b]ASURA[/b] [i]Stone | Cream | Mulberry[/i] Often referred to as the queen of Espers, Asura is Maduin’s first consort. She is known for her many faces: one of serenity (pale), one of happiness (grey), and one of anger (orange). With both good and bad facets colouring her presence, Asura is benevolent to her kind regardless of the circumstances. In serenity she heals; in happiness she revives; and in anger she protects. With that in mind, her husband's carelessness towards humans tends to trigger her orange visage. She also refuses to tolerate tales of Madeline - a human woman thought to have been Maduin's partner from long ago. As such, Ixion is rather distant with the other two consorts; they're an enigmatic sort. In arguments relating to humans with Asura, they tend to point out her jealous streak towards Madeline. [b]Gene Progress[/b] Complete![/columns] [columns][b]SYLPH[/b] [i]Thicket | Cream | Chocolate[/i] Sylph is a free-spirited soul who loves the art of dance and song; this one is not at all fond of chaos (though a little bit of mischief is fine!). Like many other espers, Sylph and Sylph’s kind are wary of humans, however, and tend to flee at first sign. Yet, perhaps reading one can make friends with Sylph and the other seldseen fey by simply dancing? It was created by the espers after a war; a sanctuary where they could hide from humans who had in the past abused them for their godlike abilities. The residents of this realm are thus understandably wary of humans, and yet… When a young human child – a girl named Madeline – happened upon the Esper world, the gate keeper Maduin granted her entry despite the other espers’ protests. The rest is a story Maduin would rather not re-tell. One of tragedy and torture, of torment and loss. Perhaps some day, he'll expand upon the tale from how he got from that point to this point.

Their abilities are comparable to that of a minor deity and are still sought after to this day, making them wary of the mortals and often fleeing at first sign of them. However, Maduin is different. More trusting of mortals, he's taken to trying to reconnect the Espers with the mortal realm with little success. He has three consorts by his side, all with varying degrees of trust in the mortals. So, because I made Maduin a Boa (an ancient breed that can only breed with other boas), I thought it'd be interesting to showcase that Madeline is NOT an Esper by not having her be a Boa. I bought Maduin and was like "wow, he's so beautiful, I need to get him a partner." So, I got him a partner, Asura. However, when I was attempting to buy Asura, I found another fitting dragon - Ixion - that I was like "oh no, I think I like this one more." I was able to haggle both down, so I was able to afford both, thank goodness! But then... that meant poor Maduin had two mates despite the long cooldown. Then came the third, Sylph, as a trade offer to one of my original eggs. I couldn't say no to her! I was like "WELL, I GUESS POOR MADUIN'S GOT HIMSELF A HAREM!" That's how this arrangement came to be. I tried to pick their names off summons based on looks. Asura was given Asura because of the grey face, Ixion was given Ixion (a male aeon/fayth in FFX) because purple body and light mane, and Sylph was given the name sylph because her colour scheme reminded of the sylphs from FFXIV. After I read their descriptions, it turned out to work rather nicely lore wise![/list] [b]Q: Did you ever play FFVI?[/b] [list][*] No. Most of the lore is a paraphrasing of the Final Fantasy wiki and I can't actually build into it because I don't know enough of the game, but I want to play it so I don't want to read too much either. If you're not a breeder for the lineage project, G3 and onward don't need to have those exact genes. However, if you want to become a breeder for the lineage project, your dragon (whether G3 or higher) needs to have those exact genes + be able to trace their lineage back to Maduin & consorts.[/list] [center][i]If you have any questions, feel free to ask.[/i][/center]

These initial 9 breeders (3 per consort) will receive an 20% discount for their G2 hatchling. After these slots are filled, there will no longer be any discounted sales unless more founders are added to the lineage.

This section will likely get removed once all orders have been filled. Breeders may opt to join the breeder ping list if they wish to get pinged by others. Otherwise, there will be no logging or pinging them. Signing up for the breeder ping list is optional.
