>> Turn 2
The moment everything went into disarray, the plane of the universe seemed to rip. Rip and tear and rip and tear into tiny speckles of dust. Space shuddered, feeling smaller than ever. She usually encompassed the whole world but now she barely could sense even a small portion of it. Time's voice brought her calm.
Sorry. I'd hoped to hold on for longer.
No worries. Besides, it's not fair if you're the only one experiencing new things!
Dark scales folded in on themselves and inverted. Splotches of the universe bleached through butterfly wings. Stars melded into a misty water's surface. Space stretched, then heard a gasp from somewhere near her. She blinked, turning her head towards the voice and then hitting it on the sloped marble ceiling. A shadow passed the front of the ruins, then disappeared.
Huh?
Space made her way out, taking care not to hit her head this time. She squinted, trying to find the shadow but it had seemingly entirely disappeared. Usually, she could simply feel the place of everything, not having to rely on how far she could see or gauge where things were behind a wall or pillar. This kind of sight was certainly inconvenient, but it was interesting in its own way. Space had never seen so many colors!
Speaking of new things! Space unfurled her wings, testing them for a few moments. She stretched her wings out as wide as she could, then then circles. Wings meant the Imperial could fly, right? She then launched herself into the air with a strong kick, then flapped her wings. She was certainly propelling herself, if a bit unevenly. And she was gradually going up! It wasn't exactly the elegant flight that she had in mind, but it was working at the very least!
Space's foot then snagged on a branch. She gave a yelp as she promptly fell, crashing through a few trees, and then landing heavily onto the dirt and grass. Pain shot through her wing and she winded. She tried to unfurl it once more, pinpricks running along her wings and stabbing through them. She knew from Time that it would pass, so she sighed and folded her wings close to herself, looking around at where she had landed.
She took a step, then found herself surrounded by snarling beasts. It was a pack of furry flower-covered wolves. Space blinked. Oh. Had this been their home she crashed into perhaps? She felt a little guilty about that.
Sorry. She gulped, finding her vocal chords.
"I'm very sorry…" Space said, "I really didn't mean to. I can make it up to you?"
The largest one of them jumped at her, fangs bared. She pulled her wings up, bracing for more pain. It would only be temporary and it had been her fault in the first place so this was only natural she supposed.
"God's above, what kind of idiot tries to bargain with wild beasts!" An unfamiliar voice shouted.
The pain hadn’t come. There was the slashing of flesh and whimpers instead. An iron smell, the smell of blood. Space peeked out from her wings, blinking at the figure in front of her. She was smaller, about half her size actually, but still cut an imposing figure with glittering blue scales like uncut Benitoite and wings the color of blazing skies.
The group had shrunk back but kept close, seeming to be debating whether to fight this new foe. The strange new dragon saw that they still weren’t deterred, clicked her tongue and whistling in response. As the sharp sound traveled into the air, a pink streak dove down from the sky and just about clipped the ear of the largest wolf’s ear. Three foes and the pack decided it was not worth the struggle. They retreated back into the forest, leaving Space and the strangers that seemed to have saved her.
"Thank you very much!" Space smiled, "Might I learn your names?"
"Huh? Uh… well, I'm Chance," The other dragon seemed a bit taken aback, "I'm an explorer. My partner here is Luck."
Chance raised her arm, Luck fluttering down and landing on her claw. The Dayjar fluffed his feathers and preened his orchids, not taking much interest in Space. Chance coughed, sighing a bit.
“You know you could’ve died there right?” The Obelisk asked, then muttered under her breath,
“Would an Emperor be this stupid…?”
“Really? Well, you were there so it worked out!” Space said, “I thank you again. Might I ask where we are? Or I guess just where the nearest village is?”
“You can’t just rely on others all the time,” Chance sighed, “You’re deep in the Viridian Labyrinth. It’s pretty far away from any kind of civilization, I have no idea how you even made it out here unscathed.”
“I don’t know how I made it out here either, I just kind of appeared here with my dear Time,” Space said.
Chance looked her up and down suspiciously and Space just smiled in response.
“Ok I don’t get what the heck you’re saying but why don’t you just come back to my camp for now,” She said, “It’ll be safer than… whatever the heck you’re doing out here.”

I got a familiar right after I bought Chance so uh... yeah. I decided to give it to Chance since she almost fainted twice. I mean, she's still a beast, I had a way easier time training her than Space, I think I just remember her close calls more since she's not immortal.
