[center][b] Nest 1: Deadly beginnings [/center][/b] The first of many babies have hatched!! Twin skydancer girls! This nest's naming theme is poisonous flowers because of the ghost tertiary of the whole family. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/86815039][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/868151/86815039_350.png[/img][/url] An obsidian/sapphire/navy skydancer named Nightshade with the exact same genes as her dad - python/noxtide/ghost. I love her gloomy colours, she reminds me of that blue ruby gloom character. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/86815040][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/868151/86815040_350.png[/img][/url] The second hatchling I named Foxglove due to the brilliant bright colours combined with the spooky genes. Definitely the scene kid of this group with the pinks and purple! Mist/nightshade/orchid and the same python/noxtide/ghost. Her secondary colour being nightshade suggests she should hold that name, but I decided to name her sister that instead to give them a sibling link even after they go to separate people/are exalted :) Sadly no one guessed that both hatchlings would have python, so no one won the giveaway. Welcome back... Sorry this one took so long! Atticus was RTB a whole 10 days ago [emoji=aether scared size=1] ! I have been incredibly busy these past two weeks or so, some good busy and some bad busy [s] two presentations, 2 papers and a quiz x.x [/s] But I'm so excited to be able to dedicate more time to flight rising again, starting with coming back to this! Time to find Atticus' next mate. Lets see who I'm sending off... And maybe one as gorgeous and fitting as Sanctum was, or one totally insane that gives crazy offsprings fitting for the fill the pond thread No luck yet and all the dergs have returned so off to the next round of send offs. I did get one RTB female, but she had a basic tertiary, so no go there. Glitter is off to the ugly dragon swap! I have actually gotten a few really fun and lovely dergs from here, so lets hope there a pretty mate for Atticus coming back. I chose this thread because I could get literally anything back, instead of sending a different dragon to the bee/wasp gene swap thread. Meet Atticus's second mate, Cinder, from the give/get a year+ thread. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/31011876][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/310119/31011876_350.png[/img][/url] Another skydancer, which is okay but hopefully not a trend as I have to breed with every dragon type eventually.She's also from a hatchery, seems like with this nest we are continuing the lineage of two lines. She's also very strange looking and all dark red. Sanguine/Sanguine/Garnet Poison/Spinner/Glimmer. Very excited to see what the babies will look like! [center] [b] Nest Two: Unexpectedly Emo [/center] [/b] Lets take a look at what can pop out of the new eggs! [img]https://i.imgur.com/TWZ1Sl6.png[/img] The new babies have very slim chances to inherit anything from their mother, except her breed of skydancer. It seems like we may have a handful off Atticus copies with a skydancer twist. Also that colour range is a lot smaller than I expected, I forgot how close together the purples and reds were on flight rising's colour wheel. How many eggs this time? Well... [img]https://i.imgur.com/IsbWY1R.png[/img] A solid 3! Cannot complain with that number. [img]https://i.imgur.com/WodGY5P.png[/img] OOOO!!! Looking at Cinder I had doubts that her genes and colours would work well with Atticus', but it looks like I had no reason to doubt! A clutch of little emo and scene red and pink probably skeletal babies! Lastly, time for this nest's mini [b] giveaway! [/b] There are 3 babies and 3 colour ranges their tertiary gene could be. Guess what colour range each baby's tert will be! Each guess that's correct wins a random familiar. If you get all 3 correct you will win some gold muck as a bonus! [center] [b] Nest 2: It's Not a Fashion Statement, It's a Ghost Tertiary [/center] [/b] The nest has hatched and we have gotten our first special eye type! Introducing the new hatchlings, with the name theme of emo songs since I was surprised at how edgy these babies turned out to be. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/87874278][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/878743/87874278_350.png[/img][/url] The first hatchling, Planetary, (named after Planetary (GO!) by MCR). Has an unexpected and GORGEOUS colour scheme (Fuschia/Strawberry/Moon) which inspired the name. Looks like a far off and beautiful gas planet to me. Also our first imperial, with only a 15% chance! His genes are Python/Noxtide/Ghost so he is just like his dad! His face kind of looks like he is wearing a painted on clown face while he's a hatchling haha [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/87874279][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/878743/87874279_350.png[/img][/url] Forgiveness (by Paramore) is like a cross between fire and ice with those colours (Moon/Ice/Garnet). She is also our first specialty eye type with some beautifully creepy faceted shadow eyes! She also got all the more likely genes of her dad (Python/Noxtide/Ghost). She's the first baby who gets to go in the notable hatchlings post!
