I just really, really love breeding challenges. He is hideous. He looks like he is coated in sewage. I had to have him. This is his lovely mate, Korsha! She was… kinda an ugly duckling when she was a wee bairn, but… she’s quite fetching now that she’s an adult! She’s got a unique charm. I am going to be keeping her! We’re going to hope that I can make a keepable hatchling from their lineage! Let’s move on! To the Rules Section! *points sword stoically*

[center][b][Size=7]Rules[/size][/b][/center] [LIST=1] [*]The ultimate goal is for me to spend absolutely no treasure/gems! So, under no circumstances can I buy mates for this challenge. Thus all mates must be sourced in such ways that I spend [b]no[/b] funds on them. [*]Mates will be sourced through: [LIST] [*]Give/Get Threads, Such as Give/Get XXX or Give/Get Pearlcatcher, for example. Give/Get threads that specialize in genes or colors will not be used. We want maximum range of colors and genes. [*]Exalt-friendly free hatcheries and rescues. There’s no guarantee I will be able to rehome them, so mates may end up exalted by me. I will ask for a random dragon of whatever gender I need for the next step of the challenge. [*]Donations! If you want to take part in this, I would be more than willing to work with you! The mate dragon will be returned to you and you would get 1st pick of hatchlings after the heir is selected. If you really want the heir, I will hand it over as soon as the next nest hatches! [b]I will be obligated to use all mates donated to me. After all, beggars can’t be choosers.[/b] [/LIST] [*]More likely than not, I will have a surplus of dragons that I receive from give/get threads (I have been saving up dragons I hatched to trade lol), so if you happen upon this challenge, you are more than free to pick a dragon from the mate bank to be the mate in the next generation! [*]Heirs will be picked by RNG! [LIST] [*]Heirs will have the Friend Iguana accessory because why not. [/LIST] [*]Hatchlings, former heirs, and mates (that are not donated) are up for grabs if you want them! I will hold them for a week (sometimes longer if I am slow with processing), and then sell or exalt them. [LIST] [*]All dragons that participate in this challenge, either as heir, as a mate, or as a non-heir hatchling, get this neat badge! [b]Update[/b] I plan to set our... lovely couple on a nest in two days (Aug 23). In the meantime, I made them a breeding card. [img]https://i.imgur.com/wQ7OWhb.png[/img] Wow! This is going to be so... interesting... I plan on starting to trade out for potential mates already, just to get a little bit of a bank started. Wish me luck!

[b]Update[/b] @Etheric Planck and Korsha went on a nest today! [center][img]https://i.imgur.com/C0CBFvZ.png[/img][/center] They had four eggs! A lovely start to our challenge! I also now have a sizeable bank of potential mates. They are in the order that I received them, and I plan on using them in that order unless someone requests otherwise. We'll see the hatchlings in 5 days, find out who will be the next heir, and assign them a mate from the bank! I'll see you then!
