“Welcome to the party!” Nova greets you with a flap of his wings, the garlands dropping a few petals as he does. “We’re just about to get started. Have you ever done this before?” He barely waits for an answer before he trots over, herding you into the camp with an outstretched wing.

“This is a grand tradition for us, and we’re so glad you’re joining, but turnout has been much higher than we expected and we’re a bit low on a few supplies. We’ll need your help to gather them before we can enjoy the meteors.”

He shows you to the centre of the camp, a few meagre piles of sticks and stones lying next to a single lonely crate of food. “This is meant to be a party! We planned for one or two of us, and now there are hundreds of dragons here! We need more supplies, and quickly. The meteors start falling tonight, so let’s take this day by day.”

You count five comets, each one bigger than the last, the final one lighting up the sky in the early hours of the morning. You fall asleep satisfied and comfortable, listening to dragons settling in around you. You tuck into your sleeping bag and curl up inside, poking your head out to try and catch a glimpse of the comets through the roiling clouds. While the sky blocks your view, lightning and shooting stars create a glowing light show through the night. You stay out in the open to sit at the fires, listening to the campfire stories of your peers, each one spookier than the next. You curl up to watch the comets, feeling a little paranoid about the shadows they cast on the Wood. You’ve never seen the sky glow quite like it’s glowing tonight, crisp and clear of clouds. The comets start before night even sets in, first one or two and then a steady stream, each one leaving a trail of bright sparks lingering behind. The sky glows even more brightly to match, the shadows of the Wood chased away by soft purple light and gently flickering fires. You move between fires tonight, listening to stories and watching a river of comets burn their way to the ground. [img]https://i.imgur.com/W38w5qt.png[/img][/center] [center][b]Day Seven[/b] There are no shadows in the Wood tonight, cast away by the bright purple glow of the meteor storm. Dragons are gathering from all corners of the camp, staring at the sky with an air of anticipation. You sit in the entrance to your tent, eyes wide as the true comets begin to fall, each one as big as a boulder hanging above you. They glow with a halo of fire as they carve through the atmosphere, surrounded by a hundred smaller comets raining down around them. You find the time to wander the camp as the sky falls above you, browsing tables piled with food and drink, hatchlings chasing each other’s tails while their parents are transfixed by the storm. The lanterns, tents, campfires and decorations are nothing compared to the glowing meteors that illuminate the party. The final comet makes its way across the sky at dawn, falling below the horizon as the sun rises behind it. You make your way slowly back to your tent as it disappears, full of food and exhausted, curling up to spend the day in a well-deserved bed. Day One

Day Two
The sleeping bag is cosy warm and the sky is a brilliant purple as you tuck in for the night. You count five comets, each one bigger than the last, the final one lighting up the sky in the early hours of the morning. You fall asleep satisfied and comfortable, listening to dragons settling in around you.

Day Three
The sky is stormy, but the tent is warm and lined with thick fur. You tuck into your sleeping bag and curl up inside, poking your head out to try and catch a glimpse of the comets through the roiling clouds. While the sky blocks your view, lightning and shooting stars create a glowing light show through the night.

Day Four
The clouds have cleared up tonight, the sky glowing a bright, vivid purple above you. You stay out in the open to sit at the fires, listening to the campfire stories of your peers, each one spookier than the next. You curl up to watch the comets, feeling a little paranoid about the shadows they cast on the Wood.

Day Five
