Recently I decided to re-do my entire lair, this time with an aesthetic! I don't know the exact name of it, however the palette is a brown range, and because of that, when my lair and lore gets bigger, I will (probably) move to the Earth Flight! Sadly, i am a very lazy person and keep procrastinating to write and draw, and that's why i decided to start a pinkerlocke, this way i can write lore without overwhelming myself! The dragon will not be exalted, however, you will never be able to customize the dragon again. No apparel, no familiars, nothing (not counting genes). The dragon should then be kept in a different tab, in this case, "The Churchyard''. There is also another way for a dragon to die, in this case, at the coliseum. This is not a rule, but a "heads-up" for whoever is reading. My lair will evolve as the time passes, so there will indeed be a bunch of dragons that aren't from the cast in my tabs. My mother came from the Windswept Plateau, moved to Dragonhome and found my father, and well, they had me. My mother always talked about how she wanted to explore the world and find incredible things, and after the stories she told me, of course i also wanted to go and be an adventurer. [color=transparent]____[/color]Well, guess what i did. [color=transparent]____[/color]I don't know why i thought i would survive in the middle of a bunch of dirt, stones and sand, and i have absolutely no idea why, but i survived. [color=transparent]____[/color]So, basically, a sandstorm started, and of course, i was trying to survive. I almost couldn't walk, the wind dragged me and threw rocks at my face, but I didn't give up, and I am sad I didn't, because suddenly, there was some kind of barrier around me. The sand and the wind couldn't get me. But that was not the most surprising. [color=transparent]____[/color]In the middle of the storm, i saw a silhouette, way bigger than me, and it looked like it had just appeared out of nothing. As it approached, I started to recognize a wildclaw. A wildclaw in the middle of a sandstorm, walking, relaxed, without [u]any[/u] trouble. He wore some kind of dirty fabric, bent in his head to make it. I thought about running, but well, I had two choices, one a sandstorm, and two a wildclaw. Of course, I could talk with the wildclaw if something bad happened, but why would anything happen? When the wildclaw was face-to-face with me, I opened my mouth. [color=transparent]____[/color]As soon as I did that, he held me with his dirty hands full of sand. Of course, I started to scream. I remember him laughing. [color=transparent]____[/color]- Oh, please. Don't you prefer to die while killing someone's hunger than in a sandstorm? [color=transparent]____[/color]Of course, I didn't answer. I kept screaming for him to let me go, and i am not sure, but i think i saw him smile, which made me more scared. Then i shouted in a impulse: [color=transparent]____[/color]- Let me go and i will do something for you! - And that's when i thought, I shouldn't have said that. [color=transparent]____[/color]- Well, - He said, with that stupid, menancing voice. - I do have an idea of a favor... I will let you go, but don't you [i]dare[/i] try to run. [color=transparent]____[/color]As he said, he let me go. I turned half of my body back, but before running, I stopped and slowly turned my face back to him, scared of what could happen. That wildclaw looked at me, at my eyes, at my [i]soul[/i], i felt him looking. [color=transparent]____[/color]- Ah, i see. You will be perfect for my task. [color=transparent]____[/color]- What is it? - I asked, trying to sound brave, but of course, failing. Of course, i had nowhere to go (something happened at my lair, i am not going to go into details, but i can't go back), so it could be a good offer if only i changed it a little. [color=transparent]____[/color]- I can do it, but i want to leave after i rebuild it. [color=transparent]____[/color]- Well... You will need an objective to leave. - That dirty, stinky wildclaw pointed out. - I will give you a list of professions, services and other stuff for you to get, but don't you worry, it probably will not take that much... [color=transparent]____[/color]As the phrase ended, the hooded figure started to slowly walk back to the sandstorm, and as he went, the storm got worse and worse. I walked until dusk, and found a weird, small, abandoned village, and in the center of it had a dusty well made of stone. I looked for a house to sleep in, and stayed in the first one I entered. There were very few things in the place, like an old mattress, a table and some other stuff. [color=transparent]____[/color]Well, i today i woke up ready to leave, however, i woke up with a sandstorm. [color=transparent]____[/color]The storm was trying to... avoid me i guess, but basically, it entered the house but didn't like, "reached me", again, like if i had some kind of burrier around me. Of course, I didn't want to risk being carried away by the wind, so i decided to use this magical barrier thing for my favor. I started to look for windows to close, but sadly the house's windows had already been carried away a long time ago. While searching through the place, i found some interesting things, like some rags, coins, and other old stuff that i might be able to sell. After i had looked at every single place i could, i went outside and did the same thing. I searched for the biggest place i could find, and i saw two places, one farm a bit far away from the village, and something that looked like a church, and i went to the farm, cause well, i thought it would be beneficial for when i left you know, like, be as far away from that abandoned town as possible. [color=transparent]____[/color]When i got there i searched for things again. This time i found some old wheat, buckets, fishing rods, tools, etc. I got one fishing rod, a bucket, an old backpack thing and a scythe. While I was wandering in the house, the sandstorm stopped, and as soon as I was done searching I left the farmhouse and the village. I got a lot of stuff here, and was very happy that I now had a chance to survive in some city. [color=transparent]____[/color]And then another sandstorm started. [color=transparent]____[/color]But it was not any sandstorm, it was extremely small, and it went in my direction like a wild and furious Roc. I tried to run, but it was faster, but the weird part is that the sandstorm didn't push and threw me, it [i]grabbed[/i] me and didn't let me go. While my feet were at the ground, the sand around held my legs and pushed them. The earth wanted to suffocate me. I tried to get away or pull my legs, but it didn't work, and I started to scream for the Earthshaker that I was sorry about anything wrong I did and that I was going to be a better person and bla bla bla. I woke up with someone opening the door of the house i slept in, and after sometime being hidden in a room i showed myself, screaming to however came to let me alone. The dragon was a brown and dark green skydancer that seemed like it stayed years trying to survive in the wild. They're arms and neck were bandaged, one of the shoulders had a small shield, and in the arm some metal plates. [color=transparent]____[/color]After he saw me he kept crying that he would do nothing with me, and apparently i am stronger than him, however i don't know if that is good, because if he was strong and i used him as a shield it would probably be way more beneficial. Well, I calmed him down and he told me how he got there. The skydancer said that he was looking for a home after living years in the desert and bla bla bla. Since I knew he was lying, and that he actually came because of the Traveller, I asked him about a brown wildclaw with a hood and a skull. He looked way more nervous and said that he never saw anything like that in his entire life. Like, you know, a liar. [color=transparent]____[/color]After a good time trying to make him speak more about him, the skydancer said that he was called "Rattlesnake". Again, he sounded nervous, so I didn't believe him and said that I was called "Blood", just to intimidate him. [color=transparent]____[/color]We spent some time looking for random things in the village while i kept asking him why would he choose a abandoned village to live, and he kept saying it was "because that's better than nothing." like no, being stuck in a village for the potential rest of your life is not better than nothing. After thinking about the Traveller for a while, I remembered about the canyons, and called "Rattlesnake" to come with me. Suddenly I thought that the skydancer could simply betray me, so I threatened him a lot about that. I kept saying that i would come back from the deads as a demon if he ever did something with me. I guess that made our relationship a bit worse, but oh well, i don't care as long as he serves me for something. [color=transparent]____[/color]The rest of the day wasn't very exciting. We went to the canyons, got some water, Rattlesnake fished a bit while I searched for interesting stuff and we got back to the village. Rattlesnake kept being scared of me, and we slept in different houses, which kinda makes me scared, because we would like, defend one another if anything happened. While I was wandering through the town, I saw a very small sandstorm in a specific point far from the city. It was just a big ball of chaotic sand and wind and it didn't move. I shouted to Rattlesnake to come see the thing, but when he finally arrived it was already dispersing itself. The most strange part is that, in the middle of it there was a dragon. I couldn't see what breed it was, but certainly not a guardian or any other of these giants. [color=transparent]____[/color]Well, the dragon started to come to our direction, and me and Rattlesnake were already hiding and preparing to fight it. I got the scythe from some days ago and Rattlesnake an old broom cable. We hid in one of the houses, I stayed right behind the entrance door and the skydancer stayed behind a fallen table. [color=transparent]____[/color]Finally i heard the dragon. It entered the house, a pale and well-dressed pearlcatcher, mostly wearing white came in with a... dove. Yes, a dove. Anyways, at the moment I could see his tail I closed the door as fast as I could and threatened him with the scythe. Rattlesnake came out of the table trembling with the broom cable. I got very happy seeing that the skydancer didn't betray me after seeing the bigger dragon, and I got determined. [color=transparent]____[/color]The pearlcatcher got surprised with the attack. He did nothing for a good time, he just stayed still, scarred. Rattlesnake looked very confused and guilty, not knowing what to do now. Of course, I also didn't. Finally, i said to the pearlcatcher that if he didn't hurt us, we wouldn't hurt him. He agreed with the deal. Yeah, he just went "yeah okay i'll do it". I was surprised with how he agreed, however, unlike Rattlesnake, he was not afraid of us. He accepted the thing about a problem in the middle of the desert, and I quietly thanked the Earthshaker for this. After coming back, the skydancer and the spiral accepted Pedreira as a leader because of pure fear. Pedreira made them find and reform a house for her, and made Cascavel get the most amount of fish he could. The guardian ate all of them, and left only 3 fish for the three dragons. [color=transparent]____[/color]Later on, another dragon reached the town. It was a female ridgeback, Engrenagem. Firstly, she obeyed Pedreira with the other dragons, but on the next day, at night, she got very mad and confronted the guardian. Since there was a ridgeback and three other dragons against her, Pedreira said she would stop. There were descriptions of demons, spirits and other aberrations, but one of them got me very interested. It was a very powerful creature that resembles a female skydancer. It is an old spirit of plague and nature that could infect anyone with a deadly virus, and cure anyone, from any problem. Broken bones, diseases, viruses... anything. I skipped part of the description, services, payment, etc and started to look how I could summon her. [color=transparent]____[/color]Then something came into my mind, like a whisper. [color=transparent]____[/color]Why was i doing all of this for someone i knew for simply some days? [color=transparent]____[/color]... Probably because I think I am a coward and weak.
