Good luck on this! I actually did something similar myself with my Banescale dragons and it was a success! It only took me a couple months of breeding cooldowns to get the perfect colors and I only had 3 or 4 pairs.

Thank goodness he's a boy, I was starting to fret about a surplus of girls being added.
I also put a few more pairs on nests, we've got Pendelus x Sorrell with 2 eggs hatching tomorrow, and then in a few more days we'll see what Charlie x Six and Juliet x Tango can give us with 3 eggs each!

I'm more than halfway through the first generation and i'm super excited! This is going just wonderfully, but now I need to begin to plan out pairs and be a little more judgemental in who i'm keeping, based on making sure everything evens out in the end!
On that note, Macho x Uniform have 2 eggs, and Echo x Labyrinth have 3!
