Year Three Wrap-up
Using the data in the "color log" post on page one of this thread, I looked at what RNG landed on for 52 total hatches.
First off, RNG took a complete leave of its senses this year, and the FOUR DOUBLES hatched can be summed up as:
*
I was extremely tempted to just leave the notables summary at that.
The THREE XYYs were soil/cinnamon in January, fuchsia/coal in April, and ice/crocodile in August. The one XXY that hatched was also a blimmin PRIMAL--back before Eyepocalypse 2: The Revialening positively sublimated the G1 primal market--and that dragon was pistachio/caribbean, hatched in February.
Overall, there was a bias towards female hatches this time around, with 27 female and 25 male.
(Note: the rest of these graphs are going to be "Exploded Donut" style graphs, even where not appropriate, because it amuses me.)
Even though there are 177 total colors on the color wheel, six colors were seen twice as primaries. These color graphs show the colors which were repeated, and non-repeated colors are not represented.
Six secondary colors appeared on hatches multiple times, most only twice, but hunter and carrot were both seen three times.
Only five tertiary colors were duplicated.
Overall, fewer colors were duplicated this year than the previous two. The color block below represents every color seen in the hatches this year. Each column represents one dragon, with the oldest hatch on the left, top row is primaries, middle row is secondaries, and bottom row is tertiaries.
For the second year running, there were zero Plague hatchlings, and the most frequent elemental backgrounds were tied at eight each for Shadow and Nature.
Two special eye types hatched, goat and primal, and I was super excited because it was the first g1 primal I hatched at all much less on Sneaky Sunday MUCH LESS AN XYY. Common eyes were common, and a good number of the eye types that were added in the Vial Vengeance 2: This Time It's Consumable update showed up as well.
As with the last two years, I will breed a bog with the most common attributes from the colors, etc., seen this year. I chose from the duplicated colors to match the secondary and to acknowledge the fact that this is the second year I've hatched a double crocodile. This year's graph holder will be a dark and broody soil/hunter/crocodile girl with common Shadow eyes. Haven't yet chosen a suitable name for her, so she'll be known as crocobog til I do.
Not Found
Again, thank you all for joining me on this quest to hatch a boggy every week! There will be a couple more posts on this thread. Next week I'll put up the new link for Year Four, and eventually, when I breed crocobog, I'll post her here as well.
